Stampin' Up! Splendid Autumn Card for the Creative Creases Challenge #107 - Anything Goes with a Fun Fold

Welcome to our Anything Goes With a Fun Fold Challenge. If you haven't played at Creative Creases Challenge before, what are you waiting for? Hop on over to Challenge #107. We'd love to see your fun fold creation. Here's a snapshot of mine...

My card is based on Dani Gurrola's Mystery Stamping. If you follow me, you have heard me mention her before so I won't go into details. Here's what she provided for our card for August. I love to watch the design unfold as we go along with the cuts.

and again, here's how mine turned out...

For my base, I used Daffodil Delight card stock. For the patterned paper panels, I used Splendid Autumn Designer Series Paper. You cut 2" off the front of the base and use that for your "flap" and score it at 2 3/4".

My two same shapes I punched with the To the Point Label Punch. I stamped the sunflower in Crushed Curry and die cut it from the retired Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set and Sunflowers Dies. The embellishments are from the retired Elegant Faceted Gems (I colored them with a Crushed Curry Marker). The sentiments outside and in are from the retired Comforting Thoughts Stamp Set and the ink I used is Pecan Pie.

For the inside...

My only regret is that I raised up the sunflower on the front and wished I had raised the punched shape.

Thank you for stopping by today and I can't wait to see all the creativity from the team.  Be sure to check us out at CCC#107 and we hope to see your entry there! Remember, you have a month to participate.

Stampin' Up! Painterly Pears Encouragement Cards

Good morning, my stamping friends. Hope you are having a great weekend. I have a couple of church friends who are having a really rough time of it so I made a couple of cards using the  Perfectly Pears Stamp Set.

My card base is Secret Sea card stock, the mat is Darling Duckling card stock and the art panel is Painterly Pears DSP. The sentiment is stamped in Mossy Meadow ink and I added three Low Profile Sparkle Dots.

For the second card, I used the same sheet of DSP, stamped the sentiment in Secret Sea ink and added a Brushed Brass Butterfly.

The inside of each card is the same sentiment and image.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you'll be back tomorrow for my Makeover Monday.

Stampin' Up! Autumn Expressions Encouragement Card

I used the NEW Stampin' Up! Autumn Expressions Stamp Set along with the Splendid Autumn 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper for my card today. These items will be available starting on September 4th in the September-December 2024 Mini Catalog. I can't show you the new catalog insides yet, but on the 4th you will find it on my catalog tab. There are advantages to being a demonstrator (smile).

I participated in Dani Gurrola's Mystery Stamping on the 14th. You can find her on FB at Pink Barn Stampers where you can join her group. In the meantime, you can click on this link.

My card base is Mossy Meadow and I have used one of the patterns in the aforementioned DSP pack for the strip and diamond. The square is Fresh Freesia.

I cut a piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock and embossed it with the upcoming Birch 3D EF. The sentiment is from the upcoming stamp set and adhered with Dimensionals. Everything else is adhered with liquid glue.

Three birds from the Adhesive Backed Dragonflies and Birds embellishments finished the card.

The inside also uses the stamp set and DSP.

Thanks Dani, for the easy design. I really enjoyed making it for a woman whose world has just been turned upside down. I also want to thank y'all for coming to visit. Hope you have a great weekend.

Stampin' Up! Meandering Meadow for the SU Demos Fun Fold Hop

Hello my FB peeps! Welcome to our monthly Stampin' Up! Demos Fun Fold Blog Hop!! The participating demonstrators are listed at the end of my post. I hope you will choose to hop along. Here's what I created for the hop today...

Let's take a closer look at the front, front opened and the inside...

Thank you, Tami White for your great pdf and video on how to create the Kite Fold Pop Up card. This is actually my "template" and I didn't do too badly the first time around. I haven't had a chance to make my actual "for sale" one. The inside sentiment is computer generated. I made a belly band to keep the kite contained, which Tami didn't do.

I thank you for stopping by today and hope you will hop along with the list of demos.

Once again, I am entering my card at Joanne's color challenge at the Paper Player's PP693 challenge.

Stampin' Up! Trucking Along Fresh Start and Birthday Cards

Happy Sunday to my followers and anyone else who has stopped by. If you aren't a follower, I hope you'll become one. So, my followers know I have been creating cards trying to win a prize at Kendra's Card Challenge #13. These two are her sketches 4 and 7. She had the drawing awhile back and the randomizer did not pick me! I was so busy filling out entry forms that I neglected to post these two as well!

The above is my favorite of the two. I used the Flight & Airy DSP, Wild Wheat cardstock and Basic White. The three embellishements were in my stash and I know they were from a few years back. The sentiment is from the Trucking Along Stamp Set, which is not in any catalog but rather an Online Exclusive. If you have any questions about what that means, let me know in a comment. Krafty Chicks is doing an All Occasions challenge #704 so I'm entering this card there.

The above is my least favorite of all the 15 card sketches...sorry Kendra!

Thanks for stopping by today and have a blessed Sunday. I wonder what sketches I'll present tomorrow?

Stampin' Up! Courage and Faith

Hhappy Labor Day! Welcome to the first Monday in September. In a blink of an eye, it'll be the last one...lol! My card today is a kit prepared by Sue M. for our Thursday card group.

The card base is Basic White. the mat was embossed with the 3D Tin Tile EF and sprayed with something I can't remember what it was called. It took awhile to dry!

The sentiment and flowers are from the Courage & Faith Stamp Set. Pretty, don't you think?

Thanks for stopping by today.

Stampin' Up! Back on Your Feet Encouragement Card

Wow! It's the last Wednesday in August, can you believe it? I am thankful I didn't have a rough time with Idalia. Hurricanes that start with "I" have not been good to anyone. Please continue to pray for the people who are facing it this morning in northern Florida. I am currently getting the wind and rain from it's tail. I am thankful for the meteorologists spending so much time reporting on it.

Now for my card...this poor little guy is KNOT having a good day!

Barb brought the kit for this one, which we created in our Thursday card group.

The inside says, "Hope things get better soon."

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you are having a great week so far.

Hello fellow stampers! This is the last of the "slice, stack and shuffle" technique demonstrated by Mary Knabe and Barb's kit for the Thursday card group. Colors are Night of Navy, Marina Mist (retired) and the Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper.

Stampin' Up! Dainty Delight Encouragement/Friendship

My card today uses current products, some retired and one from a company no longer in business (Repeat Impressions). The front trees from RI were in my stash and I decided it was time to put them to use. The sentiments on the front are from the Dainty Delight Stamp Set.

My card base is Daffodil Delight Cardstock, a panel of Basic Black Cardstock and a panel of Daffodil that I embossed with the 3D Fern EF. The trees had already been adhered to the squares so I'm not sure how I cut them out.

For the inside, I used the retired Calls for a Celebration Stamp Set for the sentiment. For the tree, I used a stamp from the retired Lovely As a Tree.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you'll be back tomorrow for our Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenge.
