Stampin' Up! Autumn Leaves Thinking of You Card

Hello again, peeps! This is my second post today because I wanted to enter the Freshly Made Sketches #776 Challenge. I needed a quick sympathy card for tomorrow so I went to work with a CAS card.

Here's the sketch I followed...

Thanks, Kim, for a great easy card for me to create. I used the Autumn Leaves Bundle (retired), All About Autumn DSP (retired) and the sentiment from Colorful Season stamp set. My colors are Cajun Craze, Timid Tiger and Early Espresso, along with a little bit of Basic White.

The embossing folders I used are Rustic Check 3D and Seasonal Cheer Mini EFs.

Thanks for stopping by again!

Stampin' Up! Makeover Monday Peace on Earth Sympathy Card

Welcome to another make over! Hope you had a great weekend. I didn't do anything I had planned because I had an emergency visit with the oral surgeon. I am now the owner of two less teeth...ugh! Wish they had been wisdom teeth but unfortunately they were front teeth. Enough about me!! Let's get to my card. Remember when I made this one? Well, I put some glimmer paper on today's, along with mats, and changed the dove on the front.

Stampin' Up! Peaceful Garden Pinwheel Sympathy Card

Good Friday morning, peeps! I am considering this a semi Fun Fold. I'm just getting under the wire for the challenge 369 Into the Earth at Sunday Stamps with my Cloud Cover, Secret Sea and Pecan Pie!

It's a pinwheel and the last one I created like this was over 9 years ago, here!

Today's card was created with a Lost Lagoon base, a Secret Sea embossed panel using an EF from Cuttlebug. The paper for my pinwheel is from SU's current DSP, Peaceful Garden. The center is a Riverside Irregular Pearl, which is on the Last Chance list.

The sentiment is from the retired Unbounded Love Stamp Set. It is heat embossed and cut with one of the Textured Notes Dies.

For the inside...

The sentiment is computer generated and cut with a die from the retired Sweetly Stitched set. For some reason I had printed off a bunch on Very Vanilla cardstock which didn't go with the Basic White inside panel that I sponged with Basic Beige and Cloud Cover inks. I think it has an ethereal effect, don't you?

The heart with Jesus is a die I ordered through another company but I can't remember which as I have my dies mounted on the big sheets I ordered from Stamp N Storage.  I LOVE those sheets!! It's cut out of Secret Sea cardstock.

Thank you for stopping by today and have a great weekend.

Stampin' Up! Peaceful Garden Sympathy Card for the SU Demos Fun Fold Blog Hop

Hello my FB peeps! Welcome to our monthly Stampin' Up! Demos Fun Fold Blog Hop!! The participating demonstrators are listed at the end of my post. I hope you will choose to hop along. Here's a thumbnail of what I created for the hop today...

Let's take a closer look, shall we?

This is a CASE of Sue Stampfield's card. She doesn't give measurements of all the pieces so I tried to figure it out on my own! I used different DSP. Let me show you more pics and then I'll go into my measurements. You'll need to watch her video on how to assemble :-) Here's a side view...

 top view...

 back view...

 Measurements:

Base: 4 1/4" x 9", score at 1 3/4" and 3 1/2"

Z fold strips: 9" x 3/4", scored same as above

DSP: Front Left 1 1/2" x 4"; Front Slats  3 3/4" x 1/2"; Side Slats  1 10/16" x 1/2"; Inside Panel 3 1/2" x 4"; Front Right 1 10/16" x 4"

Back: Misty Moonlight card stock 5 1/4" x 4"; Basic White 5" x 3 3/4"

Scrap white for doves. I found the Misty Moonlight stitched circle in my stash and I believe it was cut out with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies.

If I make another fold like this, I'll probably change my measurements. I noticed the strips adhered to the left are not covered by DSP. On the right side, I have them covered on one side with DSP but not the other. So, instead of 1 10/16" x 4", I'll make it 1 1/2" x 4" to be consistent with the left. I hope that makes sense.

I've decided to throw my card into the ring for the Sunday Stamps Challenge SSC369. The colors are Misty Moonlight, Cloud Cover, Secret See and Pecan Pie. (There are swirls in the DSP that are brown but it's too difficult to see in the photo but IRL it's there!)

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you will hop along with the list of demos.

Stampin' Up! Perennial Lavender Fan Fold Sympathy Card

Welcome to my Monday Morning Makeover. This is another fan fold with the same DSP as this card BUT the difference is, it's a side fold instead of a top fold. There's a reason for that...it would be there was no "oops" in cutting the base incorrectly like on this one!

Stampin' Up! The Right Words Sympathy Card

Hello, my followers and visitors. Thank you for sticking with me while I am trying to break away from blogging. It's not an easy task! I have made progress, however. In April I went from blogging almost every day to six times in May. I plan to do the same in June...but I already know that's a pipe dream...lol! Let me show you my card today...

I made this for Dani Gurrola's Mystery Stamping in May. She tells us what supplies we will need and then we put it together according to her mystery design (this month it was the "fault line" technique). This photo shows her ingredients...

 Here's my inside...

I was inspired by Lynn Dunn. What I used to create my card is listed in the chart after the hoppers' names. I can't give you measurements because I cut everything right on the trimmer and kept adjusting as I went along. Lynn gives you measurements and directions on her video.

Stampin' Up! Heart Shaped Floral & Gingham Vellum

It's been awhile, but welcome to my Monday Makeover Madness card.

The original was  posted 2/6/25...

and a larger photo for  today's card...

I love the Floral & Gingham Vellum for the background and the burlap DSP as well. Not only did I CASE my own card but I originally CASE'd my friend and upline, Mary Deatherage. If you aren't familiar with her, here's a link to her blog and to her "how to" video.

Thank you for visiting today and I hope you'll return tomorrow for our Stampin' Up Demos Fun Fold hop.

Stampin' Up! Quiet Reflections Sympathy Card for the Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

Thank you for stopping here from wherever you came!! We have a Color challenge for you today and here is what I created for our hop...

The colors I used are Daffodil Delight, Lemon Lolly, Old Olive, and Pecan Pie. Let's take a closer look, shall we?

I shamelessly CASE'd my friend and upline, Mary Deatherage, with the exception of the sentiment and leaving off the bees! You can watch her create it here so I won't be providing measurements or instructions. She also has a pdf file for you on her blog. (NOTE: At the time I made this card, the Quiet Reflection Stamp Set was on the Last Chance List. On 1/24/25 it transitioned to the Discontinued List thus it is no longer available.)

So, here is the inside and I did change that up a little from hers!

Stampin' Up! Quiet Reflections Sympathy Card for the Creative Creases Challenge #99 - Anything Goes with a Fun Fold

Welcome to our Anything Goes With a Fun Fold Challenge. If you haven't played at Creative Creases Challenge before, what are you waiting for? Hop on over to Challenge #99. We'd love to see your fun fold creation. Oh, and by the way, Happy New Year! Here's a snapshot of mine...

Let's take a closer look, shall we?

No one likes to make a sympathy card, but I think with the Quiet Reflections Stamp Set and beautiful Thoughtful Journeys DSP, it becomes easier.

I created the design of this fun fold with the help of Connie Stewart at Simply Simple Stamping. Here are my deets:

Card Base: Misty Moonlight cut at 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored and folded at 1 1/4" and 5 1/2"

Mats: Petunia Pop cut at 1" x 5 1/4" (2); 2 3/4" x 5 1/4" (2); and 4" x 5 1/4" (cut the mat for the sentiment out of the top portion to save cardstock!)

DSP cut at 3/4" x 5" (2), 2 1/2" x 5" (2); you can get the template by going to Connie's website or her video on You Tube

Basic White: 3 3/4" x 5" for inside; 2 1/2" x 2 1/2" for circle sentiment

Petunia Pop Ink for stamping sentiments

Two Tone Sparkle Gems (Online Exclusive available 1/7/25)

Brushed Brass Butterflies

Velcro to hold flaps closed

Here's a look at the inside...

NEWS FLASH!! Creative Creases Challenge will be changing from biweekly to monthly ...  see you on February 7th for the next CCC!

Thank you for stopping by today and I can't wait to see all the creativity from the team. Be sure to check us out at CCC#99 and we hope to see your entry there!

Stampin' Up! Unbounded Love Sympathy Card for the Creative Creases Challenge #95 - Anything Goes with a Fun Fold

Welcome to our Anything Goes With a Fun Fold Challenge. If you haven't played at Creative Creases Challenge before, what are you waiting for? Hop on over to Challenge #95. We'd love to see your fun fold creation. Here's a snapshot of mine...
I CASE'd Terri Gaines again and I absolutely love it! She has a video on You Tube, along with a pdf with the measurements so, once again, I will not reinvent the wheel! She called this a "Puzzle Slider" card. Pay close attention to how she lines up the matted DSP on the card base. I didn't do that but will for my next one! Let's take a closer look, shall we?

I found my stand! Glad I didn't have to use my fingers this time! Product I used is listed at the end of my post.

For the open fold...

Thank you for stopping by today and I can't wait to see all the creativity from the team. Be sure to check us out at CCC#95 and we hope to see your entry there!
