Stampin' Up! Prairie Grass Lift Off

Good mid-week day to you, my stamping friends and thanks for stopping by. Today's card is an experiment with alcohol inks...no bueno!!

In addition to using alcohol inks, I tried the lift off transfer technique. My one card that I used for the lift off, I tossed. The inks were over 10 years old and all my metallics had separated and would not rejoin!

Stampin' Up! Painterly Pears Friendship Card

Happy Thursday, stamping friends. My card today was a piece of cake...or I should say fruit! The Painterly Pears Designer Series Paper did all the work. Take a look see...

My card base is Secret Sea card stock with a mat of Daffodil Delight Beautiful Bokeh DSP. Then comes the star of the show, Painterly Pears DSP. I tied a piece of Secret Sea Faux Linen ribbon around and made a faux bow for it.

I used a Spellbinders die that was bequeathed to me to cut out the Daffodil Delight sentiment. I stamped the sentiment in Secret Sea ink. The sentiment is from the retired True Beauty Stamp Set. Three Darling Duckling Low-Profile Sparkle Dots finished the front.

For the inside...

The "friend" sentiment is from the retired Fruit Basket Stamp Set. The "here for you" sentiment is from the True Beauty set. Both are stamped with Secret Sea ink. I added the comma and exclamation point with a Secret Sea Stamp N Write Marker.

I used a die from the Perfectly Pears set to cut out the pears from another pattern in the Painterly Pears DSP.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you'll return tomorrow for our monthly Creative Creases Challenge.

Stampin' Up! Christmas Card

Okay, I promise...this is the last Christmas card of the year! AND I'm using the same Brushed Gold Card & Envelope that I used here. Thank you, Amy, for the gift that keeps on giving...lol!

My inside and outer sentiments come from the retired Timeless Tidings and Evergreen Elegance Stamp Sets. The star on the front is from the Shepherd's Care Stamp Set and is heat embossed with WOW Gold Embossing Powder.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you will return for our Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop tomorrow.

Stampin' Up! Perennial Leaves Friend Card for the Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

Thank you for stopping here from wherever you came!! We have a sketch challenge for you today and here is what I created for our hop...

Here it is again in a larger version...

My card base is Blackberry Bliss with a mat of Basic White and a panel of Perennial Leaves DSP. The cut strip is another pattern from that DSP.

The sentiment from the Country Bird House Stamp Set is stamped in Gorgeous Grape ink. It is cut out with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies.

I added 5 Adhesive Backed Dragonflies to finish the front. The inside has a message that is from a retired stamp set (wishing you a quick and complete recovery) and a strip of the flowery paper.

I am such a fan of purple but a friend in church is as well. She will be having hip surgery this week so I wanted to get a card off to her as encouragement before she goes in. Her last surgery, a few months ago, did not go well due to a problem with anesthesia. If you're a praying person, could you send up a quick little prayer for Stephanie? I know we both would appreciate it.

PIP 2403 Penguin Palace Puddles of Fun

Welcome to Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenge #2403. Here is what I created for the challenge...
Our sponsor for this challenge is...
and I used  their digital stamp
Puddles of Fun. They are based in Canada and have much more to offer besides digis. Please check them out.
I used Stampin' Blends in Light and Dark Misty Moonlight, Night of Navy, Starry Sky, Lemon Lolly, Ivory and Bubble Bath to color the image that I printed on Basic White Cardstock. I sponged the art panel with Blueberry Bushel ink. My card base is Blueberry Bushel Cardstock. I do love to color.

For the inside, I used a sentiment from Stampin' Up! Apple Harvest Stamp Set. Can you guess which one?
Yes, "the greatest gift is a good friend". My friend loves blue so this will go to her because she is going through a rainy season in her life. BUT this cute little Penguin Palace looks like she is coming out into the sunshine!

Thank you for taking time to check out my creation. Be sure to visit our sponsor's website and begin creating some of your own awesome creations! Have a blessed day.

My card base is 7" x 7", scored at 3 1/2". The Night of Navy strips are 7" x 1/2". The Basic White sponged panel is 7" x 2 1/2".

This was Deb's idea and she had all the parts cut for us. We just stamped our pots how we wanted and embellished the card. I used 3 Blueberry Bushel Tinsel Gems Four Pack, p. 140 of the Annual Catalog 2023-2024 and Very Vanilla Baker's Twine. The inks I used are Night of Navy, Faded Jeans Distress Oxide (Tim Holtz). We sponged the white panel with Faded Jeans, gold and Worn Lipstick.

Thanks for stopping by today. Be blessed and be a blessing.
