Stampin' Up! Fun Fold Birthday Card

Good morning stamping friends. Today's card is a mix of old and current SU product. The Designer Series Paper is retired but the ink, stamps, cardstock and embellishments are current. I was inspired by Jill Lancett and you can view her video here.

My card base is 10" x 5 1/2", scored at 1 1/2", 3", 4 1/2" and 6" and I used Blackberry Bliss Cardstock.

The 4 panels of DSP measure 1 1/4" x 5 1/4" and I used the retired Fresh as a Daisy DSP. Like Jill, I sponged them with Golden Glow ink.

The "mini card" measures 6" x 4", scored at 3". I used the Golden Glow 2026-2028 In Color Pearlized Specialty Paper. There are two panels cut at 2 3/4" x 3 3/4". I sponged around the edges with Golden Glow ink. I also fussy cut flowers, sponged them with the same ink and adhered them with liquid glue. The way you adhere the mini card is self-explantory from the photo.

The sentiments are from (in order of appearance) Lily of the Valley, Fern & Flora and Painted Pumpkins. They are all stamped in Blackberry Bliss ink.

The inside panel is Very Vanilla cardstock which measures 3 3/4" x 5 1/4".

I hope I haven't missed anything. If I have, let me know in a comment and thanks for stopping by today. I hope you'll be back tomorrow for our Creative Creases Challenge.

Stampin' Up! Mother's Day Gift Bags

Good mid-week morning, peeps! I meant to post my projects on Sunday but totally forgot! If you are a mother of humans or fur babies or an auntie, I hope you had a great day.

So, I gave my daughter and his mother gift bags filled with Ghiardelli AND Hershey's Zero Sugar candy. I followed the instructions by Pootles and they were quick and easy. Here's a look see...

My daughter got the Lily of the Valley one because she loves them. She gave me a hummingbird solar lantern and her mil gave me a hanging basket which real hummingbirds love! My son-in-love gave me a mug and made me a reuben; chicken wings for his mother along with sprosciutto appetizer and individual apple cheesecakes for dessert. He truly could open a restaurant! I have to show you all the pics because you know I am a foodie (if you've been following me)! Here ya go...

Prosciutto w/Pignoli Nuts, Mozzarella Pearls, Peach Slice, Basil and Balsamic Glaze

Grilled Reuben with his homemade Thousand Island Dressing (I could take a bath in it!!)

    Apple Crumb Cheesecake

    Plant from Debi

    Lantern from Kerri

So far I have had two hummingbirds visit the new hanging basket. I'm patiently waiting for the fireflies to appear! My firefly lantern of  15 years bit the dust, unfortunately, but I'm happy with the hummingbird lantern!

    Thanks for stopping by today.

Stampin' Up! Lily of the Valley Birthday Card for the Creative Creases Challenge - Anything Goes with a Fun Fold

Welcome to our Anything Goes With a Fun Fold Challenge. I'd like to welcome our new Design Team Mate, Sue Jackson! She played a lot at CCC. If you haven't played at Creative Creases Challenge before, what are you waiting for? Hop on over to Challenge #115. We'd love to see your fun fold creation. Here's mine...

I made this fold last month for the CCC and today I CASE'd my Design Team Mate AND upline, Mary Deatherage. I hope I did Mary proud! Her instructions and measurements were spot on and easier. These are "rough" shots of  front, open, back and measurements. Let's take a closer look, shall we?

Mary has a great video for making this card and I do hope you'll check it out because I'm not going to "reinvent the wheel" :-)

Thank you for stopping by today and I can't wait to see all the creativity from the team.  Be sure to check us out at CCC#115 ... we hope to see your entry there!

Stampin' Up! Dainty Flowers Birthday Card

Good mid-week morning, peeps! Over the weekend I participated in a PaperCrafters Get Organized Summit. WOW, I decluttered, sorted and organized a lot of drawers but my main goal was to clean up my pre-cut sentiments, images, card stock and DSP. Today's card represents some of that. Take a look see...

The base, mat, DSP, butterfly and banner were just thrown in a drawer. The sentiment is new (5/5/26) from the Lily of the Valley Photopolymer Stamp Set. It fit perfectly in the pre-cut banner. I didn't have to declutter, sort or organize my ribbon because I have always done that. The base is either Fresh Freesia or Purple Posy. I know the mat is Highland Heather but I have no idea what the die cut was. The DSP is the Dainty Flowers which was offered through Sale-A-Bration but I don't remember what year (no reference in my UpNote inventory). The ribbon had no name on it so it must have come in a bundle. The butterfly was in with all my pre-cut insects so I have no clue where that came from or it may have been punched. In any event, I had fun putting the odds and ends together. The inside is the same find...

There was a piece of Highland Heather card stock and the flower image with the sentiment in a box. It was stamped in black so I colored it with various Blends. The three stamped little flowers are from the Layers of Beauty Stamp Set (on the Last Chance List).

You will be seeing more of my sorted stash in the future. I have yet to being sorting my unfinished projects bin. This is exhausting, peeps, BUT it is so rewarding. I felt like I had really accomplished something during and after the seminars and I plan to keep it going.

Thanks for stopping by today and let me know if you attended the Summit.

Stampin' Up! Another Daisy Daydream Birthday Card

Hello, my stamping friends. This should be the last you see of the March 2025 Daisy Daydream Paper Pumpkin Kit cards. I have created all 3 that they suggested and I think this is my favorite. Take a look see...

As you can see, it's for one of my philanthropic educational organization sisters. In addition to the kit, I used retired products: Pretty Label Punch; Something Fancy Stamp Set and a stamp from the April 2020 Paper Pumpkin Kit.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you'll be back for our monthly SU Demos Fun Fold hop.

Stampin' Up! More OSW Painterly Pears

Here's more of the One Sheet Wonder cards. I posted a batch here and I still have another batch, which I will post on Tuesday.

Now, what am I going to do with all these cards?? They'll probably be donated or sold. Perhaps I have 12 birthdays coming up this spring :-)

Thank you for stopping by today.

Stampin' Up! Pocketful of Cheer Birthday Card

Good morning, peeps! Did you enjoy the first day of spring yesterday? I did because I made this card and I feel like it is very springy! I'm keeping true to my Paper Pumpkin Kit monthly goal. This one is an alternative to the March 2016 Pocketful of Cheer kit. As I mentioned in another post, I bought lots of refills. I mistakenly said I had 4 but in counting yesterday, I have 7. What was I thinking? In any event, here's my card...

In addition to the kit contents, I used a retired Pearlized Doily cut in half. On the inside I used the retired Happiest of Birthdays stamp set.

I will be putting together 10 kits of this card for my PEO widows group in April. I don't think any of them have ever made a card before so I think I kept their first adventure quite simple. What do you think?

    Here are the deets:

    Card base from PP kit: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", folded at 4 1/4"

    Floral strips from kit envelope: 3/4" x 3 3/4"

Self-adhesive Bermuda Bay Banner from kit

Basic White Card Stock Banner: Cut 3 3/4" x 1/2"

Striped Banner cut from belly band in kit: cut 2 3/4" x 5/8"

Stamp image from kit on square provided in kit

Adhere 2 polka dot banners from kit to back of square

Adhere strips, 1/2 doily, 3 banners to card front

Adhere square to card front using Dimensionals

Adhere 3 kit pearls to front

Inside: Adhere (2) 1/4" x 4" floral strips cut from kit envelope and stamp with retired Happiest of Birthdays Stamp Set

Thank you for stopping by today and I appreciate any comments that you leave.

Stampin' Up! Lovely & Beautiful Birthday Card

Hello my stamping friends. I'm giving you a break from tulips and going roses! I participate in Mystery Stamping with Dani Gurrola and here's a thumbnail of what I created.

and here's what we were to work with for February.

So, after you choose what stamp set, papers, ink and embellishments you want to use, you prepare everything exactly as shown in the photo. She usually posts this a week before stamping. Then she does a live video where you put it together exactly like her design and submit it to Pink Barn Stampers after she provides the link. If your card is randomly chosen, she has a gift for you. I followed her design except for where I placed the sentiment so I am not in the running but I'll submit it anyway. However, my next card should be exact and I'll show you that next Wednesday! But for now, here's a larger view of the front and inside...

The product I used is in the chart. Dani's sentiment was placed in the middle off to the right. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you'll keep visiting.

Stampin' Up! Sunshine & Tulips Blue Hues of Happiness Easter Card

Okay, so I'm addicted to this die! This is the third card I've made with it for one of the church shut ins. Take a look see...

Same as yesterday's except with a different pattern of Hues of Happiness DSP. The front sentiment is from the retired His Grace Stamp Set. The inside uses what was cut out from the negative space that I used yesterday.

I still need practice on stamping those leaves...what does that mean? I guess it means you'll be seeing more tulips! Everything is coming up tulips or should that be roses? Stay tuned and thanks for checking in today, I appreciate it.

In the meantime, I'm entering my card in the Beautiful Blossoms Challenge #38 where "floral" has to be front and center. I picked up on the blue and green in their mood board.

Stampin' Up! Sunshine & Tulips Purple & Yellow Easter Card

Happy mid-week my stamping friends. Today's card is another I created for one of our church shut-ins. I'm entering it in the Beautiful Blossoms Challenge . Take a look at my card and their optional Mood Board #38.

I think I'm pretty much in the mood, what do you think?

Let me tell you more about my card...

I used the tulip die and sentiment die from the Sunshine & Tulips Die Set. This was my first attempt at stamping the tulips and leaves in the die cut. I'm hoping my second try will line up better. The sentiment is from the retired His Grace Stamp Set. My colors are Granny Apple Green, Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather and Daffodil Delight. Let's take a look at the inside...

The cross and sentiment are from the retired Hold on to Hope Stamp Set and the "rejoicing" is from the retired His Grace Stamp Set.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you'll visit the challenge site, which is floral focused. The design team and entries are pretty amazing!

Stampin' UP! Floral Delight Fun Fold Birthday Card

Good frosty morning my stamping followers. So far, I've got nothing here in east TN except for fog and frost on the ground. I hope it stays bare and I hope you are safe wherever you are. Now, if I were back in FL, I'd be a lot warmer but it IS 34 degrees here so I'll take it! Let's put a little spring in the air today, okay?

I just adore the Floral Delight DSP and this fun fold shows both sides. The paper is no longer available but the Everyday Arches Dies are! The butterflies are from my stash and were cut out years ago when I first started stamping.

This card is soooooo easy to create with any 12" x 12" patterned paper that you have. You can actually make two cards at one time and I did just that after being inspired by a video Claire did from Created the Ottaway (interesting craft name!).

You take one piece of 12" x 12", cut two pieces at 5 1/2" x 12" and with the 1" strip that's left, you can make two 1/2" belly bands.  You score the main pieces at 1 3/4", 4 3/4", and 7 3/4". Fold it so it looks like this...

I used the 3rd, 4th and 5th largest arch dies cutting Very Vanilla, Lemon Lolly and Pool Party card stock. The 30th was achieved by cutting Mossy Meadow card stock with dies from Birthday Celebration and Large Numbers Framelits (the TH is a stamp from Number of Years Stamp Set). Those dies and stamp set are all retired.

The birthday stamp and front sentiment are from the retired Birthday Celebration Stamp Set.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you enjoyed this fun fold. The second card I created will be posted February 2...stay tuned.
