Stampin' Up! Beautiful World Masculine Birthday Card

Today I have used the Beautiful World Stamp Set and the Old World Specialty Designer Series Paper to bring you a masculine birthday card. I'm entering it at Dare 2B Artzy's Masculine challenge.

I created this the same way I did on June 28, 2020. I just changed the pattern from the Old World Specialty Designer Series Paper, the ink (Mossy Meadow), the sentiment (Celebrate Sunflowers), and a banner rather than a punched one.

Sorry this is so short but I'm off to get my hair cut, finally, and to see the doctor. So, if you have any questions, please leave them in a comment.

See you tomorrow and thanks for stopping by today.

Stampin' Up! Celebrate Sunflowers Forever Fern Card

Good Monday morning Mimosa makeover madness! For our team meeting on 6/15, Sue P. showed us how to make two different cards with the same inks and stamp set, Forever Fern, and my first one I posted 6/26/20. Well, that one was made with the first Mimosa. This one is made with the second Mimosa and, once again, it doesn't even come close to hers...lol!

I like how I turned it into something (I think!) rather than deep sixing it (it was close)! I guar-ron-tee (in my Justin Wilson voice) that I could not re-create this!!

The "I" block I was supposed to use was forgotten and I used the "H" block again. I used the same inks and technique as she did, and as I did on Friday, but it turned out totally different! That's one of the things I love about the faux watercoloring technique. No card will ever turn out the same.

I stamped on a piece of Whisper White 3 3/4" x 5 1/4". Once it was dry, I wrapped a piece of Old Olive/Pretty Peacock Reversible Ribbon around the left edge. That panel is adhered to a mat of Pretty Peacock 4" x 5 1/4".

The sentiment is from the Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set. The splatters and leaves are from Forever Fern. The embellishments are from the Flowers for Every Season Gems.

I'm entering my card in the Crafting Happiness Challenges #55.

Thank you for stopping by today. You know I love to see your comments and I hope that you'll become a follower. If you already are, I thank you and hope I bring a little levity into your corner of the world. Oh, and have a Mimosa on me!!

Stampin' Up! Beautiful World and World of Good Friendship Card

I hope you are having a relaxing Sunday and weekend so far. I was able to make this card and have 5 others in the works using the new World of Good Designer Series Paper and the Beautiful World Stamp Set.

It's so difficult to get a good photo with the Brass Foil paper but it looks great in real life.

My card base is Misty Moonlight with a layer of DSP from World of Good. My mats are the new Brass Foil and I used different patterns from the same series because they had the brass foil in the map and globe. I punched the fishtails with my Banner Triple Punch.

The sentiment is stamped on a scrap of Bumblebee card stock with Misty Moonlight ink. I punched it out with my Everyday Label Punch. I added three retired embellishments and I don't know the name of them. I adhered the sentiment with Dimensionals.

The globes on the DSP provide lots of circles for the challenge at 2 Sisters on the Blog #40. Because I have used paterned paper, I'm playing at Craftyhazelnut's June Patterned Paper Challenge Site.

The inside is clean and simple...

I used a stamp from the May 2020 Paper Pumpkin Kit. My mat is So Saffron and the ink, again, is Misty Moonlight. I added a 1/4" strip of DSP at the bottom.

Thank you for stopping by today.

Stampin' Up! Flowers for Every Season Birthday Note Card

Saturday, in the park, it must have been the 4th of July...let's start your day with a little earworm, shall we?!! Well, it IS almost the 4th of July, can you believe it?! Is it your birthday today? Then this card is for you...well, not really...it's going in my "package" of the sunflowers. I'm entering my card in the Creativ Fusion Arts & Crafts Blog Challenge #18 - Nature's Garden.

My card base is Just Jade. The DSP is Flowers for Every Season. The sentiment is from the World of Good Stamp Set. I punched it out with the retired Lemon Builder Punch. I also punched out a lemon from Bumblebee card stock, cut it in half and adhered it to the back of the sentiment. I adhered the "lemon" to the card base with Dimensionals. The ribbon is from the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack.

On the inside, I added a sentiment from the Many Mates Stamp Set and adhered strips of DSP from the Flowers for Every Season.

This is the last card for my "package". Here's what will be included...

Which of the new 2020-2022 In Colors do you like best? Do you have any suggestions for a box for them? I don't want to use the acetate boxes. I want to make one with the winning favorite solid color and matching DSP. TIA for your ideas and thank you for stopping by today.

Stampin' Up! Forever Fern Encouragement Card

TGIF, once again. Remember awhile ago I said I was going to make the last of our team meeting cards? Well, I finally did it and bungled it all the way! But, I like how it turned out. Sorry, Sue, I really tried!

I did use the same Faux Watercoloring technique that Sue did but it turned out nothing even close to hers. Her inspiration came from Heidi Collins. Mine came from having two Mimosas...lol! AND Just Add Ink's Photo Inspiration #511.

I used the "I" block from SU and inked it up with Soft Sea Foam, Garden Green, Pretty Peacock and Pear Pizzazz inks. I spritzed the block with water, stamped on the card base and let it dry. I stamped my leaves from the Forever Fern Stamp Set in Pretty Peacock.

On a scrap of Whisper White, I stamped the sentiment in Pretty Peacock. It's from the same stamp set. I punched it out with the Label Me Fancy Punch and sponged the edges. I adhered it with Dimensionals.

The little splatters are a stamp in the set and, again, it's Pretty Peacock.

I love these shades of green together with a touch of blue in the Pretty Peacock, don't you? I hope Creative Knockouts #356 likes it too.

Sue showed us how to create two cards and I'll show you the next one on Monday.

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you have a fantastic weekend lined up.

Stampin' Up! Celebrate Sunflowers for the Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin' Thursday blog hop. You're in for a treat if you have never visited before. It's a weekly challenge and this week we have a sketch challenge. I can't wait to see what the other team members created. Hop along with us at the bottom of my post.
Image may contain: text that says 'Happy Inkin Thursday Blog Hop June 25 Sketch Challenge'

I was going to make a slimline card but after watching Linda Bauwin's video for a Triple Panel Stamp Technique, I changed my mind. I chose the colors of Mint Macaron, Pool Party and Bermuda Bay because of the #342 challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments.

My card base is Very Vanilla with a Basic Black mat. The first panel is Mint Macaron, the second is Pool Party and the third is Bermuda Bay. I used the Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set for my images and sentiment. I cut the sentiment with a die from Ornate Layers. The splatters are from the Forever Fern Stamp Set. I used my Dark Mint Macaron and Light Bermuda Bay Stampin' Blends on some of the leaves.

The inside consists of a Basic Black mat and Very Vanilla mat for the sentiment. I stamped the sentiment from Beautiful World in Memento Tuxedo Black in and the globe in Pool Party. I punched the corners with my Detailed Trio punch.

I hope you enjoyed my card today and thank you for joining the hop. Clicking on the "next" button will take you to Eva Dobilas. Clicking on the names below will take you directly to the other team members and their projects.

Stampin' Up! Celebrate Sunflowers Thinking of You Note Card

Wow it's Wednesday again and the last one for this month!

I've got another note card for you today brought to you by the Celebrate Sunflowers and Many Mates Stamp Sets.

I think this one shouts "fall", after yesterday's "summer". My card base is the new Cinnamon Cider. Ooh, I could go for some Cinnamon Cider donuts. Fall can't come soon enough for me....but I digress!

Using the Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set, I stamped the smaller flower on the card front with Cinnamon Cider ink.

I stamped the sentiment from Many Mates in matching ink on a scrap of Whisper White. I punched it out with the Label Me Lovely Punch and while I was at it, I punched one out of Just Jade card stock. I cut it in half and adhered it to the back of my sentiment. I adhered that with Dimensionals. I made a little bow out of Linen Thread and attached it with a glue dot.

The Flowers for Every Season Designer Series Paper is 1" x 5", cut in half and adhered to the base. I finished the card front by adding three Metallic Pearls.

Again, because this is going in a "package", I left the inside blank.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you'll return tomorrow for our Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop.

Stampin' Up! Flowers for Every Season Thanks Note Card

Tuesday thanks is what I'm bringing you today compliments of the Many Mates Stamp Set.

This new Magenta Madness card stock is really bright. I almost didn't order it because I thought it was too close to Melon Mambo. I was totally wrong!

This is a note card to go in my "package" so it's cut at 3 3/4" x 10", scored and folded at 5". The Flowers for Every Season DSP is 1 1/2" x 5". I embossed the front, before I adhered it, with one the Greenery EF's. I stamped the sentiment on a scrap of Whisper White and punched it out with the Label Me Lovely Punch. I sponged it with Magenta Madness ink. Adding three new In Color enamel dots finished the front. I'm hoping it fits Joanne's challenge at The Paper Players PP496 this week.

On the inside, I added a 1/4" x 5" strip of DSP.

Easy peasy! Thank you for stopping by today.

Stampin' Up! Butterfly Gala Any Occasion Card

It's Monday Makeover once again. I CASE'd my card from Thursday using the Butterfly Gala Stamp Set and the Butterfly Duet Punch. I added a strip of 2020-2022 In Color Designer Series Paper to the Thick Whisper White card base.

I like this card better because of the design and colors! The inside is unfinished because I don't know if it will be used for a sympathy card, get well card, thinking of you card or thanking someone for their past kindness. I suppose it could be turned into a birthday card as well.

My card design is loosely inspired by the sketch at Retro Rubber. One of their requirements is that you must use a stamp over a year old. The Butterfly Gala was new January 3, 2019.

RRCB 137

#rrcb137 is partnering with Double Trouble Challenge #59 "3-2-1 Recipe". Here's how it goes:
THING 1:  Trouble Maker
says, "Help us stir up some trouble with a 3-2-1 Recipe that can be used for any occasion."
From: Our Kitchen at Double Trouble
     Servings: Unlimited portions of Fun
     Ingredients:  3 - Colors
                           2 - Embellishments
                           1 - Seasoned Stamped/Digital Sentiment
(clear or rubber stamp more than
                                one year old)

So, I've already mentioned the stamp set is over a year old, but I haven't told you I used 3 colors: Just Jade, Pretty Peacock, and Pear Pizzazz. The embellishments are the Flowers for Every Season Gems. Phew, got Thing 1 done!

Thing 3 wants to see angles and I see the butterflies making a triangle!

Thing 2 is a double dare, which simply means Thing 1 and Thing 3 have been achieved.

I always have so much fun playing at Double Trouble. Have you tried it yet?

Crafting Happiness Challenges #54 is an Anything Goes challenge so my card will be there as well.

If you have any questions about how I made my card, just let me know in the comment section and thanks for stopping by!

Stampin' Up! Flowers for Every Season Get Well Card

It's a sunny Sunday here in SWFL and I'm bringing you an all yellow card today.

Both of the photos are delicious but only if you like yellow and I do! Here's proof...

It's not a bright yellow, but it's one of our new Bumblebee 2020-2022 In Colors. The sunflower paper is from the new Flowers For Every Season DSP. The embossing folder I used is the Hammered Metal.
The ribbon is retired Daffodil Delight and the enamel dots and heart are retired as well. The note card itself is Bumblebee Card Stock cut at 3 3/4" x 10" , scored and folded at 5". The sentiment is from the Many Mates Stamp Set and is punched with the Label Me Lovely Punch. I adhered it with Dimensionals.

Since this card is going to be part of a package, I didn't put a sentiment on the inside.

I added a 1/2" strip of patterned paper from the same series and stamped a sunflower, from the Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set, in the corner with Crushed Curry ink.

Thank you for stopping by today.
