Stampin' Up! Amber Autumn Thank You Card

Hello my stamping friends! Welcome to our monthly Amy's Inkin' Krew hop. Our theme for this month is "Giving Thanks" and we can  use any product we wish. Here is what I created for it ...

  

 Let's take a closer look...

My card base is Cajun Craze card stock with a mat of  Very Vanilla. The foliage die cut is from the Amber Autumn Dies. I used the Earthen Toned Metallic Specialty Paper.

I used Early Espresso card stock and the Everyday Arches Dies for the flap. The acorns and sentiment are from the Amber Autumn Stamp Set. I colored the leaves with Light & Dark Cajun Craze and Timid Tiger Blends. The sentiment is stamped in Early Espresso ink.

Flip up the flap (say that 10 times fast!) and you see this...

Again, I used the Amber Autumn Stamp Set for the sentiment. You must all recognize the retired oak tree from the Lovely as a Tree Stamp Set. There is one similar in the current Loveliest Tree Stamp Set. I stamped the sentiment in Early Espresso and the tree in Basic Beige.

On to the last flip...

I stamped the sentiment from Amber in Early Espresso and the acorn leaves in Basic Beige from the Lovely as a Tree. The paper is some I had from Office Max. score

Measurements:

Card Base:5 1/2 x 8 1/2, scored and folded at 4 1/4

Very Vanilla: 5 1/4" x 4"

Foil: 5" x 3 3/4"

Flap: 3" x 8 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"; 3rd largest die with straight edge laid just above fold

Sentiment arch:  4th largest die

Stampin' Up! Gift Card Holders for the SU Demos Fun Fold Monthly Hop

Hello my FB peeps! Welcome to our monthly Stampin' Up! Demos Fun Fold Blog Hop!! The participating demonstrators are listed at the end of my post. I hope you will choose to hop along. Here's what I created for the hop today...

 

                               

I CASE'd this from Dawn Olchefske, who is also a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.

My "sleeve" is Night of Navy Card Stock cut at 7 1/2" x 3 1/2". It is scored at 1/2" and 4". Add Tear & Tape to the outside of the 1/2" fold and fold the other side on top to create the sleeve. The retired Country Club DSP is cut to 3 1/4" x 3 1/4" and adhered with liquid glue to the outside of the sleeve.

The sentiment, stamped in Night of Navy is from the retired So Sentimental Stamp Set. It is cut out with a retired die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I adhered it with Dimensionals and cut a silver golf club with the retired Golf Club Dies.

Next for the gift card holder: Mine is Mossy Meadow Card Stock cut at 10" x 3 1/4". It is scored and folded at 4" and 8". Add Tear & Tape to the sides of the 4" fold and secure. This forms the pocket for your gift card.

The portion to write on is a piece of Basic White cut at 3" x 3 3/4".

 

I created this one with current product: Woven Textures DSP, sentiment from Unbounded Love, Pecan Pie, Crumb Cake,  Basic Beige Card Stock, and Linen Thread.

Stampin' Up! Wildflower Designs Thank You Card

Happy Saturday, my peeps! Did you have a good Valentine's Day? Lots of chocolate? flowers? cards? Well, just in case it didn't happen, it didn't happen for me either! I am making a Valentine dinner for my family tonight so maybe you've got plans to celebrate today too. The reason I didn't celebrate yesterday is because I'm having some rooms repainted in the condo I've been in for a year. Let me show you the colors I chose...

 

My card base is Soft Sea Foam with a mat of Lost Lagoon and that middle square is a little off. Wish my naked eye could see what the camera sees!

 

I stamped the sentiment in Lost Lagoon and the flowers in Pretty in Pink on the Basic White panel. I added 5 Adhesive-Backed Dragonflies to the front and raised the squares with Dimensionals.

 

The Wildflower Birthday Specialty Designer Series Paper was the inspiration for my color choices of my kitchen, guest bath, and laundry room. 

 

For the inside...

 

 

The living room was already a basic gray but I went with a lighter shade as I only have a sliding glass door for natural light on the main level. The dragonfly from the retired Dragonfly Garden Stamp Set is stamped in Smoky Slate and the sentiment from the retired Treasured Kindness Stamp Set in Lost Lagoon. I added another gold dragonfly.

 

Although the names of the paint were not those of SU, the paint samples were quite close. I made the card for the painters as they were extremely kind and went above and beyond doing things that I couldn't do myself. It was a mother and son team and they love dragonflies. I will miss them when they are done.

My design came from Mystery Stamping with Dani Gurrola and you can see her create her card here.

Base: 4 1/4" x 11", scored and folded at 5 1/2

Lost Lagoon Mat: 4 1/8" x 5 3/8"

Basic White: 4" x 5 1/4" (2)

Soft Sea Foam Mats: 5/8" x 4 1/8"; 1 1/8" x 1 1/8" (3)

DSP: 1/2" x 4"; 1" x 1" (3)

Stampin' Up! Marbled Elegance Thanks

Hello my stamping peeps! It's Tuesday but it's not Creative Creases or SU Demos day. It's just a plain ole Tuesday except for the fact that you are visiting. I appreciate that!

My card today was one of Alyson Mayo's design. It was an extra front because I had decided not to use circles but rather hearts on an upcoming card which will post 2/12/25. Let's take a look see at what Alyson calls "Pair of Circles" card...

I do like white on white a lot but I know some people don't. Let me know in a comment what your preference is, please. This card might just be for YOU!

 

The embossing folder is from Darice. I've had it for quite awhile but I believe it's still available on Amazon. The sentiment is from SU Spotlight on Nature Stamp Set. It's stamped in Melon Mambo.

 

I kept the inside simple because I don't know to whom it's going...or I might sell it at the craft fair in October. Time will tell.

Stampin' Up! Grassy Grove Thank You for Amy's Inkin' Krew Monthly Blog Hop

Hello my stamping friends! Welcome to our monthly Amy's Inkin' Krew hop. Our theme for this month is "Fall Frenzy" and we can interpret that any way we want and use any product we wish. Here is what I created for it using the Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper along with a sentiment and image from the Grassy Grove Stamp Set.

I was inspired by my friend and upline, Mary Deatherage. You can see her create hers here. My measurements vary a tad from Mary's as do my colors. I won't tell you how to put it together because Mary does, but I will share my colors and measurements with you. Ready? Okay, but let's take a closer look first...

and when opened...

Cajun Craze card base: 

10 7/8" x 4 1/4", scored and folded at 5 1/2" and 8 3/4". You will mark your smaller fold portion at 2 1/8" and cut on the diagonal.

Calypso Coral mats: 

2 7/8" x 2 7/8" for the diamond

4 1/8" x 5 3/8" for the inner liner

3 1/8" x 4 1/8" (2) for the front and inside panels

Designer Series Paper:

3" x 4" (2) for the front and left inside

2 1/8" x 4" for the right inner liner

Basic White: 

3" x 4" for the inner liner

7/8" x 2 1/8" for the sentiment

Stampin' Up! Thank You Card

Happy Saturday, peeps! Today card is Sketch 10 for Kendra's Card Challenge #15.

My card base is Blueberry Bushel with a mat and circle of retired Parakeet Party cardstock (although it looks yellow). The left side patterned paper is Spring Daisies and the right side is a piece of Meandering Meadows DSP. The middle strip is Night of Navy with a strip of another Meandering Meadows pattern. The scalloped portion is from a retired punch and another pattern of Meandering Meadows. The "thank you" is from the Cutest Cows Stamp Set, is stamped in Blueberry Bushel on Fresh Freesia strip. The ends are punched with the retired Banners Pick A Punch. I think I need to add some embellishments!

Good mid-week morning, peeps. Today's card is for Kendra's Card Challenge #KCC15 and it's Sketch 5. I had watched a video by Shana making Sketch 6 and that's where I got the idea for the tunnel effect. Take a look see at my card...

I am not happy with the way my card turned out because you can hardly see the banner tags. However, it caused me to rethink the use of the patterned paper the way it was cut and used.

Stampin' Up! Pampered Pets Thank You Card

Good afternoon, peeps! I'm a little late with my post today because I forgot I was doing a Monday Makeover for this card.

Here's the makeover card I created to give my vet for going above and beyond with my Chester. 

I used the Pampered Pets Stamp Set (images), Thoughtful Branches (sentiment), Playful Pets Designer Series Paper and Stitched Shapes Dies to create my card. All are retired. I cropped the inside as I had started to write to Dr. Kara and staff and then realized I hadn't taken a photo yet.

I have a beautiful box for his ashes from the crematory as their gift to me. His cremation was done gratis and I could have had his paw print cast but his paw print is forever on my heart. I will show you the box on Wednesday along with cards I have received from friends and teammates. I hope you'll return and I thank you for stopping by today.

• scrap for sentiment from Simply Zinnias, stamped in Highland Heather; cut with die from Something Fancy, sponged with Lost Lagoon and adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals; 
• inner liner 5 1/4" x 4" stamped in Highland Heather with second sentiment from Simply Zinnias and image from same stamp set stamped in Lost Lagoon and Shaded Spruce; 
• 4" x 5" piece to stamp zinnias colored with Light & Dark Shaded Spruce, Lemon Lolly, Blackberry Bliss, Highland Heather and Fresh Freesia Blends; cut out with die from Simply Zinnias
