Stampin' Up! Butterfly Gala Any Occasion Card

It's Monday Makeover once again. I CASE'd my card from Thursday using the Butterfly Gala Stamp Set and the Butterfly Duet Punch. I added a strip of 2020-2022 In Color Designer Series Paper to the Thick Whisper White card base.

I like this card better because of the design and colors! The inside is unfinished because I don't know if it will be used for a sympathy card, get well card, thinking of you card or thanking someone for their past kindness. I suppose it could be turned into a birthday card as well.

My card design is loosely inspired by the sketch at Retro Rubber. One of their requirements is that you must use a stamp over a year old. The Butterfly Gala was new January 3, 2019.

#rrcb137 is partnering with Double Trouble Challenge #59 "3-2-1 Recipe". Here's how it goes:
THING 1:  Trouble Maker
says, "Help us stir up some trouble with a 3-2-1 Recipe that can be used for any occasion."
From: Our Kitchen at Double Trouble
     Servings: Unlimited portions of Fun
     Ingredients:  3 - Colors
                           2 - Embellishments
                           1 - Seasoned Stamped/Digital Sentiment
(clear or rubber stamp more than
                                one year old)

So, I've already mentioned the stamp set is over a year old, but I haven't told you I used 3 colors: Just Jade, Pretty Peacock, and Pear Pizzazz. The embellishments are the Flowers for Every Season Gems. Phew, got Thing 1 done!

Thing 3 wants to see angles and I see the butterflies making a triangle!

Thing 2 is a double dare, which simply means Thing 1 and Thing 3 have been achieved.

I always have so much fun playing at Double Trouble. Have you tried it yet?

Crafting Happiness Challenges #54 is an Anything Goes challenge so my card will be there as well.

If you have any questions about how I made my card, just let me know in the comment section and thanks for stopping by!
