Stampin' Up! Happiness Abounds Thank You Card

Good Tuesday morning, peeps! My card and post today is short and sweet (I hope!)

My sentiment today is brought to you by Stampin' Up! as is the stamped rose, both from the Happiness Abounds Stamp Set. The patterned paper is from Craft Consortium - Shell Rummel's Bloom Beautiful Patterned Paper (2015).

I stamped the sentiment in VersaMark Ink and heat embossed it with Silver Emboss Powder from the Metallics Embossing Powders set. The cardstock is the retired Elegant Eggplant with a mat of Blackberry Bliss cardstock. The rose image is stamped with Blackberry Bliss ink.

I consider this a monochromatic card and I hope the Design Team at Inkspirational does too!

Thank you for stopping by today and perhaps I'll see you tomorrow.

Stampin' Up! Christmas in July

Welcome to another Monday Morning Makeover Madness card. It could be Masculine but I'm not sure with the ribbon. What do you think?

It's a makeover of this card.

For the front I used the same retired Softly Falling Embossing Folder and a different pattern from the retired Feels Like Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper adhered to Silver Foil. I adhered that to the opposite side and added a bow using the
Starry Sky 1/8" Metallic Woven Ribbon and three 2022-2024 In Color Matte Decorative Dots (Starry Sky). The sentiment is punched with the Label Me Lovely and Label Me Fancy Punches.

The front and inside sentiments are from the retired So Many Stars Stamp Set.

So, why so many retired products? It's because I have vowed to use up all the kits I created for classes where people didn't show. My goal is the end of this year or the first of next year... lol!

I'm entering my card in these challenges:

Jingle Belles: Bling on the Holidays Double Trouble Crossover Challenge - my ribbon is blingy I think as is the Silver Foil

Double Trouble #116 - Christmas In July - I'm playing with all three Things

Allsorts Challenge #685 - Christmas in July

Thank you for stopping by today and help yourself to some M & M's.

Stampin' Up! Charming Sentiments Golfer's Birthday

Good Sunday morning peeps! Do you like butterflies? Do you like golf? Well, then my card today is for you!

My card base is Rich Razzleberry cardstock with a mat of Basic Black cardstock. I cut a panel of retired Botanical Butterfly DSP and adhered it to the black mat.  The sentiment is computer generated and the corners are punched with the retired Detailed Trio Punch. I adhered it with Stampin' Dimensionals after I edged it with my Blackberry Bliss Stamp N' Write Marker.

For the inside...
I cut a piece of retired Country Club Designer Series Paper, colored the image with Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive and Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends, stamped the first sentiment from the Charming Sentiments Stamp Set with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and the second sentiment is stamped in Rich Razzleberry. I think I borrowed the stamp from a friend so I have no clue what stamp set it is. If you know, please leave your answer in a comment and TIA.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you'll be back tomorrow for either my Masculine Monday or Monday Makeover Madness, I'm undecided! Have a great rest of your day.

Stampin' Up! Charming Sentiments Birthday Card

Good Saturday morning to you! On a scale from 1 to 10, how are you doing this weekend? How 'bout on a musical scale? Warning: this post may contain an earworm!

If it's your birthday, this one's for you! We made it in our Thursday card group and Sue M. provide the kit. Don't you love that patterned paper? The "Happy Birthday" is a die cut that is available on Etsy. It sits upon a Basic White Deckled Rectangle die cut, which sits upon the patterned paper also available on Etsy. The dots in the corners are retired Stampin' Up! enamel dots (metallic for a challenge below). Let's take a look at the inside...

The sentiment is from the Charming Sentiments Stamp Set. The musical notes and keyboard on the envelope flap are from the retired Music of the Heart Stamp Set...one with which I will never part!

I love black and white, anything monochromatic and anything birthday! So, I'm entering my card at:

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you have a wonderful, fun-filled weekend. If not, at least stop and listen to the music!

Stampin' Up! Peaceful Deer Christmas Fun Fold Card

TGIF, peeps! Welcome to my fun-fold Friday.

I had no idea what fun fold I was going to make until Connie Stewart demonstrated a triple flap card on You Tube yesterday! I had no problem with the theme because of these challenges:

  1. ABC Christmas - N is for New and O is for Old - I used the new Lights Aglow  Designer Series Paper for my side flaps and Silver & Gold Specialty Paper for the front flap. The old is the Peaceful Deer Stamp Set, cardstock, inks, punch and ribbon.
  2. Alphabet Challenge - H is for Holidays
  3. Crafty Gals Corner: Challenge #233 - Christmas in July
  4. Krafty Chicks Christmas #620
  5. The 12 Months of Christmas Link Up #90
  6. Creative Creases #36 - ATG with a Fun Fold
  7. Christmas Craft - Patterned Paper - see above!

The main portion of my Evening Evergreen cardstock piece measures 4" x 10 1/2", scored and folded at 5 1/4". The Soft Succulent cardstock base measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/2".

With the leftover piece of Evening Evergreen, cut two pieces 2 1/2" x 5 1/8". Fold and score each piece at 1/2". Adhere to sides of Evening Evergreen to create the two flaps.

Cut four pieces of DSP for the flaps at 1 3/4" x 5" and adhere to flaps with liquid glue.

Cut the front panel DSP at 3 3/4" x 5" and adhere to Evening Evergreen card front. Adhere the Evening Evergreen card to the Soft Succulent base with liquid glue.

With the remaining piece of Evening Evergreen, punch out two pieces with the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch or any punch that fits your sentiment. I chose to use the stamps from the Peaceful Deer Stamp Set

On a 2 1/2" x 3" piece of Basic White, I stamped the sentiment in Evening Evergreen ink and the garland in Soft Succulent ink. I cut the pieces of Evening Evergreen in half, different directions to create a frame for the back of the Basic White that was also punched with the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch (adhered with liquid glue). I adhered that to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I cut a piece of  3/8" Open Weave Soft Succulent Ribbon, tied a bow, and attached it with a glue dot; then I trimmed the ends.

The inside Basic White panel measures 4" x 5". I stamped the deer in Soft Succulent but used a sponge dauber to ink the word section with Evening Evergreen. The bunny is stamped in Soft Succulent and the sentiments are Evening Evergreen. I adhered it to the card with liquid glue.

Stampin' Up! Wonderful World Birthday Card

Welcome to the Happy Inkin' Thursday blog hop. You're in for a treat if you have never visited before. It's a weekly challenge and this week we have a sketch challenge. Links to the team hoppers are at the bottom of this post, along with measurements and product used.

I went rogue with Sharon Armstrong's Mystery Stamping on July 11, 2022. My card base is Rich Razzleberry with an embossed 3D Fern Basic White panel. Measurements are listed at the end of my post.

I cut Rich Razzleberry mats for the Wonderful World Designer Series Paper (free with an order of $100 during Sale-A-Bration July through August while supplies last).

The Happy Birthday from the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set is stamped and edged with Rich Razzleberry ink. Fussy cutting the sentiment and embellishment is what took the longest and I'm not the best at that. The sentiment is adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals and everything else is with liquid glue.

I added three Brushed Brass Butterflies to complete the front. I'm entering my card in the Seize the Birthday #242 Challenge with the option of Metallic.

For the inside, I have a mat for the sentiment panel. The sentiment is also from Peaceful Moments. I adhered a strip of Wonderful World DSP at the bottom and the card was fini!

Clicking on the "next" button will take you to TOK (the other Karen!). Clicking on the names listed below will take you directly to team members and their projects. Thank you for stopping by and hopping with us! I hope you'll be back tomorrow for my fun fold.

Stampin' Up! Merriest Moments Christmas in July

Good mid-week morning, peeps! Yes, it's Christmas in July again for me...but only because The Die Cut Diva's, The 12 Months of Christmas Challenge #90, and Crafty Gals Corner #233 suggested it! Thank you, Divas and Crafty Gals! And, thank you Christmas Craft Creations for wanting Patterned Paper for your July challenge.

I hope you have time to take a look at their sites and beautiful cards. Now, more about mine...

This was a card we made at our Thursday Card Group. The front consists of patterned paper Barb provided, along with a gold foil die cut which also had the "NOEL" embossed in it. The letters were dies as well and she had everything cut out for us but couldn't remember the name of the companies for the die or patterned paper. Right now she's in Canada without access to her craft room. If you know, please drop me an email or leave a comment. Take a look see...

I finally finished it yesterday with the Stampin' Up! Merriest Moments Stamp Set. I cut a Real Red cardstock mat for the art panel. I used Mossy Meadow ink for the holly leaves and Real Red ink for the berries and sentiment.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you'll be back tomorrow for our Thursday Inkin' Krew Blog Hop.

Stampin' Up! He's the Man Birthday Card

Welcome to another Inkin’ Krew monthly blog hop! Our very talented team is doing a blog hop featuring Stampin’ Up! products. This month we are all creating projects with a “Celebrate Summer" theme. Here is what I created for it...

What man/woman doesn't love to grill in the summer? In Florida, I grill year 'round but we did that in the north country too. Just had to brush the snow away!

My card base is Cajun Craze cardstock, with panels of He's the Man Specialty Designer Series Paper

I used the retired What's Cookin' Stamp Set for the sentiment. I think I need to reink my Early Espresso pad!

For the knife handle, salt and pepper shakers, and veggies, I used Crumb Cake ink, scraps of Very Vanilla cardstock and stamps from What's Cookin'. I colored the veggies with Stampin' Blends...Old Olive, Crumb Cake and Poppy Parade.

I used the retired Cookin' Dies for the cutting board (scrap Very Vanilla), knife (the blade is Silver Foil) and salt & pepper shakers.

The grill is a punch out from the He's the Man Designer Series pack.

The grill and knife are adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals. Everything else is adhered with liquid glue.

For the inside, the sentiment is computer generated. The flames and saying is a punch out from the He's the Man Specialty DSP.  The panel measures 4" x 5 1/4".

Stampin' Up! Hues of Happiness Wedding or Birthday Note Card

If this is your first time visiting, welcome to my Monday Morning Makeover Madness! I hope you have the time to click on the follow button and subscribe to receive email when I post. (For those who have already done that, I have a new subscribe button/service as some people were not receiving.)

Today I have another card we made in our Thursday card group. It's a CASE of the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog 2022-2023 cover. I was inspired by Mandy VanHavermaet.

The card base measures 4" x 5 1/2" and I cut a piece of Hues of Happiness DSP to the same size. I adhered it to the card front with liquid glue.

The Basic White panel is 3" x 4 1/2" and the edge is die cut with a die from the Blossoming Happiness Dies. The flowers and leaves are cut out with dies from that set using the Hues of Happiness paper. I also stamped some leaves from the Happiness Abounds Stamp Set. I adhered the flowers with Stampin' Dimensionals and the leaves with liquid glue.

The sentiment from Happiness Abounds is stamped on a scrap of Basic White with Melon Mambo ink. I "bannerized" the end and adhered it with Dimensionals. I added embellishments from the Glossy Dots Assortment. They come in three different sizes and I really like that!

The inside is simply stamped with "Thinking of you on your special day" from the Inspired Thoughts Stamp Set and an adhered strip of 4" x 1/2" DSP at the bottom.

I think you could use this card either for a wedding or birthday. Your thoughts?

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you'll return tomorrow for our monthly Amy's Inkin' Krew Blog Hop.

Stampin' Up! Inspired Thoughts Birthday Card

Good Sunday morning, my peeps! Hope you are having a wonderful weekend.  However, if you are feeling a little bit down, I hope my card will help you give wings to your worries.

We made this card in our Thursday card group and Sue L. provided the kit. The stamp was an unmarked stamp and she thought it was about 15 years old but didn't think it was SU. If anyone knows the name, would you please let me know in a comment. It's so pretty, especially in black and pink!

The sentiment is from SU retired Well Scripted Stamp Set. You can use any sentiment and any punch you want since you probably can't get these any longer!

The Old Olive branches are punched with the retired Bird Builder punch. I still have that punch and will never sell it!

I think the pink is either Pretty in Pink or Pink Pirouette, both retired. The flowers are punched with the retired Blossom Punch. For the centers I used the current white Classic Matte Dots

I'm not sure what stamp we used for the spots but SU has a lot of retired ones! The ribbon was something from JoAnn's or Michael's. You should see Sue's craft room!!!

Now, let's take a look at the inside, which I finished at home.

The sentiment is from the Inspired Thoughts Stamp Set. I stamped the flowers from the retired Petite Petals Stamp Set in Pretty in Pink. The corners are punched with the retired Detailed Trio Punch.

I'm entering my card at Lil Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge #185 - ATG and Allsorts Challenge #684 - All Sorts of Animals.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you'll be back tomorrow for my Monday Morning Makeover Madness card.

Stampin' Up! Gold Foil Fun Fold Friday

Welcome to my fun fold Friday post. If you follow me and the Creative Creases Challenge, you will know I was Guest Designer for the Secret Stamper for the month of June and that Debbie was moving to Chicago. Well, I am sorry to say Debbie has not been able to unpack her craft room yet, but happy to say I am Guest Designer for Challenge #36!

My fun fold today is a CASE of this one and, again, was one we made in our Thursday card group with a kit provided by Sue L.

The only items available are the Gold Foil and Kokorosa Die Cut but it's all about those two things, really! The die is called the Foldable Wave Background Board and here are instructions in a video for creating it. The video is less than 2 minutes long and I know you are going to want this die!! You can use any patterned paper you have, any shapes, and any sentiments. Here is what we used:

  • 1 3/4" retired SU Scallop Circle Punch
  • 1 1/4" retired SU Circle Whale Punch
  • Retired SU sentiment stamp
  • Craft Consortium - Shell Rummel's Bloom Beautiful Patterned Paper (2015) It was inherited from Carole, one of our deceased members. Joann sells Craft Consortium online only.

The card does require a homemade envelope. A SU Basic White cardstock panel is on the reverse side for writing a message.

I'm entering my card in the Make the Cards Challenge #58 - Make a Fancy Fold Card.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you have a great weekend. Oh, and I do hope you'll enter the Creative Creases Challenge #36!
