Stampin' Up! Winter Woods Washi Christmas Card

Welcome to Winter Woods Washi Wednesday, peeps! LOL, that could be a tongue twister!!

This is another gift card holder for one of the Fire Stations. I used the In the Woods Dies to cut the tree that I stamped with the coordinating Winter Woods Stamp Set. Both are retired. I did a swizzle of Gold Metallic Element on it and adhered it with Stampin' Dimensionals.

For the inside...

The sentiment is from the Perched in a Tree Stamp Set and the DSP is a scrap from my stash.

Stampin' Up! Morning Star Washi Tape Christmas

This might be another Washi Tape addiction!
The sentiment in the star is from the Morning Star Stamp Set (retired). The star is cut out with a die from the Stitched Stars Dies (retired).

"You are the best" is from the Morning Star set and "Merry Christmas" is from the Regal Reindeer Stamp Set.

This is yet another gift card holder for our local EMS (Fire & Rescue) people who serve our community. The DSP is the retired Candy Lane.

Stampin' Up! Dainty Delight Butterflies

Happy Wednesday folks! I'm going to dive right in and show you my card!!

I've decided to enter my card today in the Allsorts Challenge Week 737. Sounds like an airplane, doesn't it? Well, my card is taking flight due to their mood board with a butterfly.

Why did I pick the colors I picked? Well, because of Color My Heart Color Dare: Dolor Dare #557!

AND, last but not least, because I used the retired Butterfly Brilliance Dies from SU, I am entering the Happy Little Stampers: ATG with Dies challenge.

My card base is Azure Afternoon Cardstock with a mat of Craft Consortium Ink Drops 12" x 12" patterned paper, which I got through Amazon. I ran it through my embossing machine with the Painted Textures 3D EF. I cut the butterfly out of retired Black Glimmer Paper.

I used the Double Oval Punch for the Black Glimmer mat and Azure Afternoon sentiment piece. The "Celebrate You" is from the Dainty Delight Stamp Set.

For the inside...

See, I told you I was on a Washi Tape kick! I borrowed these tapes from one of our card group gals. I cut another Black Glimmer butterfly and used sentiments from Dainty Delight and Lighting the Way Stamp Sets.  Isn't that Washi gorgeous?

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you enjoyed my card. I hope you'll be back tomorrow for our Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop.

Stampin' Up! and Unity Stamp EMS Christmas Card

Good Sunday morning/afternoon/evening, peeps! Once again I am creating cards for local EMS teams. We have 3 stations who protect us and our community gives each one Publix gift cards, which they usually use for their Christmas meals away from home. Being on the  ambulance, firefighting and rescue squad is not an easy profession. We so appreciate them! Here is my first of six...

I have been on a Washi Tape kick since July 1 and this is my third card using tapes that I have no idea what their names are but I know most of them came from Stampin' Up! I adhered these strips to a 5 1/4" x 4" piece of white cardstock and cut out the center with the tree die from the In the Woods die set (retired) and adhered it to a Garden Green Cardstock base.

Using Garden Green ink (second generation), I stamped the tree image from the retired Winter Woods Stamp Set on a piece of Basic White Cardstock and cut it out with that same die.

Next I stamped the words from the retired So Many Stars Stamp Set, using the same ink and layed in the cut out piece, adhering it with liquid glue. Card front done!

For the inside...

The Christmas greeting is from the So Many Stars, the firefighter is James Guy from Unity, as is the bravery sentiment. I turned the inside into a gift card holder and that is self-explanatory.

I'm entering my card in the Krafty Chicks Challenge #672 - Christmas.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you'll be back tomorrow for a Makeover Monday Madness card. Have a blessed day.

Stampin' Up! Rose Wonder Washi Tape

Happy 4th of July, peeps! I remember days of going to Lake George, NY, with my parents, loaded up with sparklers and other assorted fireworks. I miss that. However, from my living room windows in Florida I get to see fireworks across the lake so I'm content. The noise doesn't bother Chester so all is good! Our community will be having a golf cart parade and hopefully the fire trucks will be part of it. Do you do anything special to celebrate our independence? BBQ maybe?

On to the major point of my post today...we're bringing back Washi Tape again. I LOVE this one that we made in our Thursday card group. Sue L. brought the kit. Isn't her tape pretty? I think the "how to" is quite evident so I'm not even going to get into that. We used stamps from the retired Rose Wonder Stamp Set. This could be used for a sympathy card or for someone who is experiencing a major setback in the walk of life.

My card base is Very Vanilla Cardstock with a panel of Basic Black Cardstock. The Washi Tape is wrapped around a piece of Basic White Cardstock. The sentiment is punched with the retired Decorative Label punch and adhered to a mat of Basic Black.

For the inside...

I'm entering my card in the Krafty Chick's Challenge #670, ATG. It's a visit that has been long overdue!

Thank you for stopping by today and may you be blessed not only by our country's freedom but by your personal freedom as well, should you so choose.

Stampin' Up! Counting Sheep

Happy Tewesday, peeps! Did you notice I misspelled Tuesday? ... and I bet you know why? Yeppers, here they are...

I made my card for the Color Hues challenge #TCH26:

Yesterday I made a card totally with washi tape and my goal is to use my washi tape. I don't have enough years left in me use it all so I'll just use what I can!

My card base is thick Basic White and I added strips of washi tape on the top and bottom. I stamped two ewes, from the Counting Sheep Stamp Set, on Basic White with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and cut them out with the Sheep Dies. I colored their hooves with a Basic Gray Stampin' Write Marker. I used the Ivory Stampin' Blend to color their faces. They are adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I used the balloon die from the Sheep Dies to cut three balloons from the Penguin Playmates DSP and adhered them with liquid glue.

The sentiment is from the Counting Sheep Stamp Set and is stamped with Petal Pink ink.

The inside is plain and simple...

I used Flirty Flamingo ink to stamp the sentiment from the In Your Words Stamp Set.

Thank you for stopping by today.

Stampin' Up! Loyal & True Washi Tape Card

Welcome to my Monday Morning Makeover Madness card. I made a Mermaid card with washi tape here last Wednesday. Today's makeover was easier for me. I have no idea where the tape came from but the stamp set is the retired Loyal & True. I do not give up any military related stamps! I'm entering this card at Crafting Happiness #115 ATG, Pammie's Inky Pinkies #2139 and A Perfect Time to Craft #9-2021.

My card base is Night of Navy cardstock with a mat of Misty Moonlight cardstock. I took a piece of Basic White (5" x 3 3/4"), made an "X" from one corner to another and laid the washi tape at opposite angles and wrapped it to the back. Then I adhered it to the Misty Moonlight mat with liquid glue.

I stamped the sentiment on Basic White with Night of Navy ink and punched it out with the Rectangular Postage Punch. I cut a Night of Navy mat for it and rounded the corners. It's adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals.

The inside is clean and simple...

Today would have been my 52nd wedding anniversary with this Vietnam Veteran. We met through the mail 2/14/69. It was love at first write!!
