Stampin' Up! Earthen Textures Slimline Card

Hello my peeps! Here's my card for today that we made in our Thursday card group.

My card base is 7" x 7", scored at 3 1/2". The Night of Navy strips are 7" x 1/2". The Basic White sponged panel is 7" x 2 1/2".

This was Deb's idea and she had all the parts cut for us. We just stamped our pots how we wanted and embellished the card. I used 3 Blueberry Bushel Tinsel Gems Four Pack, p. 140 of the Annual Catalog 2023-2024 and Very Vanilla Baker's Twine. The inks I used are Night of Navy, Faded Jeans Distress Oxide (Tim Holtz). We sponged the white panel with Faded Jeans, gold and Worn Lipstick.

Thanks for stopping by today. Be blessed and be a blessing.

Stampin' Up! Slimline Sympathy Cards

Well, it's mid-week once again and I'm trying to clean up old cards that were half done. I've got a ways to go but hopefully by next Wednesday I will have achieved my goal. Don't hold your breath, though!

On the 12th of September, I posted this card. The next two finish up the sympathy cards I made with the retired Slim Card Dies and retired Simply Elegant Specialty Designer Series Paper. I had cut out all of the chevrons and adhered them to card bases so they didn't disappear on my cluttered desk.

Stampin' Up! Inspired Thoughts Sympathy Card

Welcome to my Masculine Monday Makeover Madness card. It's for my PEO sister's husband and family. The  PEO Sisterhood refers to them as a BIL (Brother-in-Love). The card is also a makeover of this one and this one.

This slimline card is created with a Smoky Slate Gray card base, Copper Foil and retired Simply Elegant Specialty Designer Paper chevrons (I used the retired Slim Card Dies). The silver foil embellishment is cut with a die from the Forever Flourishing Dies. The Inspired Thoughts Stamp Set sentiment is punched with the Banners Pick A Punch and I added three Rustic Metallic Dots.

For the inside...

I used the retired Thoughts & Prayers Stamp Set. I colored my tree with sponge daubers, using Garden Green and Cajun Craze inks.

I'm entering my card at Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenge #2237.

Thank you for stopping by today and I'm sorry I have no M & M's candy for you today. BUT, if you return tomorrow for our monthly Amy's Inkin' Krew Blog Hop, you will find some pretty sweet projects. Have a blessed day.

Stampin' Up! Slimline Cards

Good morning, peeps, and welcome to my Slimline Saturday! If I make slimline cards, will it help to slim my waistline? WHAT??? You say "no"?? Okay, I agree. I think you'll agree that for today and tomorrow I have "slim" on my agenda.

I made this card for my daughter and son-in-love's 7th wedding anniversary. Since the 7th year is represented by copper, I used Copper Foil and the retired Simply Elegant Specialty Designer Series Paper, along with the retired Slim Dies, retired Ornate Layers Dies, and the retired Love & Happiness Stamp Set to create their card.

I stamped the sentiment in VersaMark ink and heat embossed it with Copper Embossing Powder. I fussy cut it and adhered it to the Ornate Layers frame. The frame is adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals. It was fun getting all those chevrons adhered with liquid glue!

and for the inside...

All the sentiments are from the Love & Happiness set AND I know you know why I did the sponging that way (smile)!

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you'll be back tomorrow for more!

Stampin' Up! Hello Harvest Thinking of You Fun Fold Slimline Card

TGIF, peeps! It's another Fun Fold Friday AND I'm honored to be Guest Designer once again for Creative Creases Challenge #37! I hope you will play along and enter a card in Debbie's Always Anything with a Fun Fold challenge.

My card today was inspired by Linda Bauwin and it's a great design. Let me show you the various stages of opening...

Here are the deets in a pumpkin shell:

Merry Merlot Cardstock: 8 1/2" x 3 3/4" (2); cut one on the long side at 4 1/4" and score each end at 3/4"; burnish, fold, and adhere to remaining piece, which forms the card base

Rustic Harvest DSP: 3 3/8" x 3 5/8" (2) (Tip: be mindful of the pattern direction and match up your pieces on the flap before gluing!); different pattern 5/8" x 3 5/8" strips (2); adhere with liquid glue

Scrap Merry Merlot for banner sentiment (Hello Harvest Stamp Set); stamp with VersaMark Ink and heat emboss with White Embossing Powder; cut out with Rustic Pumpkin Dies; adhere left half to flap with Stampin' Dimensionals

Basic White Cardstock: 6 3/4" x 3 1/2"; stamp image in Cajun Craze; color pumpkin with Stampin' Blends (Light and Dark Cajun Craze, Light Daffodil and Color Lifter); color stem with Mossy Meadow Stamp N Write Marker. Stamp corners in Crushed Curry and the sentiment in Merry Merlot. Adhere to inside with liquid glue.

I hope you enjoyed my card. I'd love to see your creation of this easy fun fold in the Creative Creases Challenge #37! Have a great weekend.

Stampin' Up! Simply Elegant Anniversary Card

Welcome to another HITBH! If you came from Jaimie's site, I'm glad you are continuing the hop. If you haven't then I hope you'll continue to hop using my links below. No matter what, I'm glad you're here. Today we have a sketch challenge and here is what I loosely created for it...
Please tell me you can see the similarity!

I used the Slim Card Dies, Simply Elegant Specialty DSP and Copper Foil to create my chevron card front. I actually remembered to use my adhesive sheets on the back of the papers so that I didn't get liquid glue all over the Copper Foil. I adhered the cut outs on a Smoky Slate Cardstock base. The sentiment mat is cut with the Ornate Frames Dies our of Copper Foil. The sentiment is from the Love & Happiness Stamp Set. I stamped it on a scrap of Basic White with my VersaMark Ink and heat embossed it with Copper Emboss Powder. Then I fussy cut it and adhered it with a minimum of liquid glue. I adhered the Copper Foil mat to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.

For the inside...
You know why I sponged and stippled it, yes? Uh huh, smudge from ink on my hands! The age-old curse of stampers!! Well, it's done in the soon retiring Cinnamon Cider Ink, as are the stamped sentiments from the Love & Happiness Stamp Set.

The measurements are quite simple:
Card Base: 7 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored and folded at 3 1/2" on the short side.
DSP: 3 3/8" x 8 3/8" and the same for the Basic White inner liner

I'm entering my card in the Krafty Chicks Challenge #605 Week 5 ATG.

I chose to use Basic Black, Crushed Curry, Flirty Flamingo and Mossy Meadow.

I was inspired by Anna Helman and her daughter, Kelsey. I used the Slim Sayings Stamp Set for my sentiments. For my images, I used the Daisy Lane and Honeybee Home Stamp Sets. For the splatters, I used the Daffodil Daydream Stamp Set.

My card base is Crushed Curry cardstock, mats are Basic Black and Basic White. The patterned paper is Daffodil Afternoon DSP. I punched the corners with the Detailed Trio Punch and sponged the front Basic White panel with Crushed Curry. I added three Brushed Brass Butterflies. Measurements are listed below.

Stampin' Up! Words of Cheer Christmas Card

TGIF, peeps! My card today is all Stampin' Up! with the exception of the metallic digital paper I won at 12 Months of Christmas on Challenge #81. I'm playing again in their #83 challenge but without the red and white optional twist. However, stay tuned for the optional twist tomorrow! Thank you, Lisa Decosse for your wonderful work of art!

My card is a CASE of my teammate, Jaimie B. The cardstock for my slimline base is Gorgeous Grape. I made mats of Basic White for the digital paper. This is my first time with digital paper and this stamp set/dies so I'm playing at NBUS #32 - Never Before Used Schtuff. I have also used Fresh Freesia cardstock and the retired Winter Snow EF. Are you wondering about a purple Christmas Card? It's for a specific person who loves purple (other than moi!).

The "Cheer" is cut with the Christmas Cheer Dies as are the three little "poinsettias" and leaves (Crumb Cake Cardstock).

For the inside sentiment, I used a stamp from the Words of Cheer Stamp Set and a stamp from A Wish For Everything Stamp Set. I also used the Holly Border Punch.

Because this is fun-fold card, I'm entering it at Creative Creases #19; also at Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper November 2021 and Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Challenge.

I had a lot of fun creating this card. I'm not going into the details of how I put it together, but here are the measurements if you want to try your hand at making it:

Card Base: 7 1/2" x 8 1/2"; score and fold at 1 3/4", 5 1/4" on 7 1/2" side

Panel 1: Basic White 2 1/8" x 8 3/8"; DSP 2" x 8 1/4"

Panel 2: Basic White 1 5/8" x 8 3/8"; DSP 1 1/2" x 8 1/4"

Mat for art piece: 2 1/4" x 5 1/2"

Basic White Embossed Panel: 2 1/8" x 5 3/8"

Card Stock to fit word die, letter dies, leaves and stars, which sub as pointsettias!

Inner Liner: 3 1/4" x 8 1/4"

I hope you enjoyed my project today and thanks for stopping by. Have a great weekend.
