Stampin' Up! Another Daisy Daydream Birthday Card

Hello, my stamping friends. This should be the last you see of the March 2025 Daisy Daydream Paper Pumpkin Kit cards. I have created all 3 that they suggested and I think this is my favorite. Take a look see...

As you can see, it's for one of my philanthropic educational organization sisters. In addition to the kit, I used retired products: Pretty Label Punch; Something Fancy Stamp Set and a stamp from the April 2020 Paper Pumpkin Kit.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you'll be back for our monthly SU Demos Fun Fold hop.

Stampin' Up! Painterly Pears Birthday Fun Fold

Good morning stamping friends. Today's card is easy peasy. It takes Designer Series Paper that measures 12" x 5 1/4" and is scored at 4", 7" and 10". For the sentiment I used a piece of Very Vanilla 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" cut out with a retired Deckled Rectangle die. Take a look see...

The sentiment is from the Coneflower Celebration Stamp Set and is stamped with Secret Sea Ink.

See, I told you it was easy peasy. Thank you for stopping by today.

Stampin' Up! Coneflower Celebrations Belated Birthday Card

Since I cut out more 1" x 5" pieces of From the Heart Specialty Designer Series Paper than what I needed for one card, I thought I would CASE yesterday's card, which you can see here. Take a look see...

I got a little luckier with this one because I think all the hearts are going in the same direction, unlike yesterday's!

Here's the inside...

Thank you for stopping by today and here's a chart of what I used in the creation.

Stampin' Up! PP Kit Alternative Belated Birthday Card

Happy Wednesday, peeps! I needed a birthday card for a woman at church who told me Sunday that her birthday was the next day so I wanted to send her a card, even though late.

I'm trying to use up my Paper Pumpkin kits, which will take a long time so I'm hoping I'll still be alive 10 years from now! This card used the card base and envelope papers from the March 2016 Pocketful of Cheer kit. I also have 7 refills so if you want or need, I'm willing to sell them. I bought them to teach a class, which never happened!

1. Card base - Bermuda Bay (retired) - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored at 4 1/4". Make a tick mark at the top 2 1/2" measuring from right to left. Cut diagonally from the mark to the lower right corner and save the triangle piece.
2. With more of the Bermuda Bay card stock cut a piece that measures 1 1/2" x 5 1/2". Cut it diagonally from the top left to the bottom right.
3. I took the PP kit envelope and cut it to 4" x 5 1/4". I marked and cut it the same as the base above and adhered it to the base flap. I also cut a piece 1 1/4" x 5" and cut that diagonally from top left corner to the bottom right corner. I adhered it to the triangle from step 2.
4. Using the card base from the kit, I cut a piece 2 1/4" x 4 3/4" and then cut it from the top left corner to the bottom right corner. That I adhered to the triangle saved from the card base in step 1.
5. I cut a panel of Basic White measuring 4" x 5 1/4", stamped it with a stamp from the retired In Your Words set, using Bermuda Bay ink. The butterfly is from the current Beautiful Butterflies stamp set and is stamped with retired Pistachio Pudding ink. I adhered that to the inside of the base.

6. Next I adhered the triangle with the plain DSP to the flap with Dimensionals. The remaining triangle is adhered with liquid glue.
7. The outside sentiment is from the retired Perennial Postage Stamp Set. It is stamped in Bermuda Bay ink and cut out with a die from the current Spotlight on Nature Dies. I adhered it with Dimensionals.
8. I finished the card with 3 Brushed Brass Butterflies and it's in the mail winging its way to the recipient.

I hope you enjoyed my card. If you haven't tried this "fan card", there are several tutorials on You Tube if you want to see it being created.

Stampin' Up! In Your Words Belated Birthday Card

I used the In Your Words Stamp Set (retired) to create my card for today. It's a CASE of the two I made here.

I dry embossed a Polished Pink cardstock panel with the Merry Melody 3D EF and adhered it to the card base. I adhered strips of Basic Black cardstock to the top and bottom of the DSP from the Pattern Play Series. I colored the flowers with my Light and Dark Polished Pink Blends. I ran a piece of Black 5/8" Glittered Organdy Ribbon around the center panel, secured it with tape, and adhered the panel to the card front.

I cut a Basic Black mat with a die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I stamped the sentiment from In Your Words in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I cut the sentiment out with a smaller die from Stitched So Sweetly. Over at the Alphabet Challenge Blog, their challenge is "U" for unequal. I think these two same-shape but different-size dies fit the bill!

I adhered the sentiment to the mat with Stampin' Dimensionals. Then I adhered the mat to the card front with liquid glue.  I added three Matte Black Dots to three of the embossed notes.

For the inside, I stamped the sentiment from In Your Words with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and added a strip of the DSP to the bottom. I punched the two top corners with the Detailed Trio Punch. Then I adhered the inner liner to the card base.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you have a great weekend planned.

Measurements:

Card Base - 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"; 5 3/8" x 4 1/8" for embossed panel
Basic Black - 5 1/2" x 1/2" (2) for DSP edge; 2 3/4" x 4" for die cut mat
DSP - 5 1/2" x 1 3/4"; 5 1/2" x 1/2" inside strip
Basic White - 5 1/4" x 4" inside; 2 3/4" x 3 1/2" for die cut sentiment
Ribbon - 7"

Stampin' Up! All Good Things Belated Birthday Card

Good mid-week morning, peeps! How's your week been so far?

My card today is a slimline. I think I'm getting to like them a little better. I needed the length for my design which was inspired by Joanne James' sketch at The Paper Players PP560

My card base is Just Jade cardstock with a strip of Expressions in Ink Specialty Designer Series Paper.

I stamped the koi from the retired All The Good Things Stamp Set on scraps of Basic White with Calypso Coral ink and Cajun Craze ink. I punched them out with the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch and adhered them to Shaded Spruce mats I made with my trimmer. I adhered them to the card with liquid glue.

The sentiment is stamped with Shaded Spruce ink and it's from the retired Well Scripted Stamp Set. To keep fairly true to the sketch I stamped another koi and fussy cut it. I adhered it with Stampin' Dimensionals.

For the inside...

I stamped the larger koi with Calypso Coral ink and the sentiment from the In Your Words Host Stamp Set with Evening Evergreen ink.

Measurements:

Card Base: 7" x 8 1/2", scored and folded at 3 1/2""

DSP Strip: 1" x 8 1/2"

Mats for images: 1 1/2" x 2 1/4"

Scraps of Basic White for images

Inside Panel: 3 1/4" x 8 1/4"

Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you'll be back tomorrow for our Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop.

Stampin' Up! Butterfly Brilliance Belated Birthday Card

Mid-week has rolled around again BUT this time it brings an end to the month! Where did June go???? We are now half way into 2021 and hopefully the second half will be better than the first half for me and others who hit rough spots! Along with a new month tomorrow comes a change in Blogger. They used Feedburner to send my followers an email to let them know I posted. This comes to an end tomorrow. I am debating about using a free program or a paid one. Until I make that decision, I am hoping you will just visit my blog daily. I usually post no later than 9 AM (ET). Thank you for your following.

My card today is brought to you by the Butterfly Brilliance Stamp Set and matching Brilliant Wings Dies. It is a CASE of Tami White.

My card base is retired Purple Posy (Fresh Freesia works too!) with a Basic Black mat. I stamped the butterfly images in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on a piece of Basic White. I stamped the medium size butterfly on a scrap of Basic White and colored it with my Light and Dark Fresh Freesia Stampin' Blends. I cut it out with the corresponding butterfly in the Brilliant Wings Dies. I rubbed pastel chalk around the outline of the stamped butterflies and then adhered the cut butterfly with Stampin' Dimensionals. I adhered the mats with liquid glue.

Then I added Stampin' Seal to the card front and adhered a piece of Fresh Freesia 3/8" Open Weave Ribbon. I stamped the sentiment from Best Year on a scrap of Purple Posy and adhered it to the ribbon with liquid glue.

For the inside...

I used the Turtle Friends Stamp Set and stamped the sentiment in Fresh Freesia and the turtles with Memento.

I'm playing at Through The Craft Room Door ATG Challenge and The Sisterhood of Crafters ATG.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you'll return tomorrow for our Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop. See you in July!

Oh, and BTW, these are the papers that will be available at 15% discount July 1 - August 2, 2021. Be sure to shop in my online store to order.

As Alicia would say, "Hello crafty friends." Today I have the last of her Sheetload of Cards June 2020 Design. Maybe tomorrow I'll start on the ones for July!

The DT has some beautiful cards on their site.

Stampin' Up! One Wild Ride Masculine Belated Birthday Card

Happy Friday, folks. I dug out a retired stamp set for my card today. It's one I wish hadn't retired as my daughter rides and the man whose birthday this is for rides as well. I will never get rid of the One Wild Ride Stamp Set as I know too many people who ride, especially in our 55+ community. When it was allowed, they would all ride out together for breakfast in the morning. I hope it gets back to normal for them soon. I miss the sound of Harley's going past the house.

I sponged a strip of Whisper White with Pretty Peacock and Granny Apple Green to mimic sky and grass. Then I stamped the motorcycle with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I adhered it to the card front with liquid glue. The sentiment banner, Route 66 and tire tracks are stamped in the same ink. One set of tracks is second generation. Card front donesky, as Mary would say!

For the inside, I stamped right on the card base. This is a no frills card!

The top sentiment is from the new Many Mates Stamp Set and the birthday is from the Itty Bitty Birthday Stamp Set. The motorcycle image is third generation Basic Gray ink.

Easy peasy, folks!

I'm entering my card at:

1. Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #372

4. As You See It Challenge #227 "A Reel Choice". One of my favorite movies is Indiana Jones Kingdom of the Crystal Skull because the Harley Davidson Softail is featured. Harrison Ford is not hard on the eyes, either!

My daughter and son-in-love owned a Harley Fat Boy and now own an Ultra Limited Touring Harley.  I just loved the sound of the Fat Boy. However, when you are in the midst of over 100 it is a little frightening for me! Here they are surprising us with a visit at our hotel in August 2018...a very pleasant memory, indeed!

Thanks for stopping by today and if you have any questions, let me know in a comment.

Stampin' Up! Botanical Prints Medley Belated Birthday Card

Good morning, peeps! Today is the first day since we've been in NC that I have made a card. We've been here 5 days. It's been over a week since I made a card, period! I figured I better start soon or I'd even forget how to cut my card stock...lol. I cut my Basic Black Card Stock to measure 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4". Take a look see...

I chose to do Black & White + one color...green... so I could play at Try it on Tuesday.

I ordered the Botanical Prints Product Medley Kit quite awhile ago and was saving it to bring to NC. Kits are wonderful for that and this one retires June 2. It's a $70 product that is now on sale for $42 while supplies last. If you'd like to order it, click here.

I had pre-cut my rectangles before leaving home because I knew that I would be CASEing Sharon Burkert's card. They are cut with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I stamped the berry image in Memento Tuxedo Black. I colored the leaves with my Old Olive Watercolor Pencil and blended with my Blender Pen.

I cut a strip of DSP from the kit (2" x 5 1/2") and adhered it with SNAIL (retiring June 2).

Using my grid paper, I lined up the three rectangles where I thought they were evenly spaced and then adhered them with Dimensionals only on the top and center back.

The kit has this beautiful Old Olive ribbon in it. I ran it under the bottom of the loose rectangle bottoms and tied a bow. I used about 16" of ribbon.

The kit also comes with punch out shapes for sentiments. I used one of them for my Itty Bitty Birthday sentiment, which is stamped in Pear Pizzazz. I adhered it with Dimensionals.

On the inside, I adhered a strip of 1/2" x 5 1/4" of the same DSP. I will be writing a personal note on the inside so I didn't take a pic of it.

Both Watercooler Wednesday (WWC270 with a Feminine Twist) and Word Art Wednesday #438-#439 have an Anything Goes Challenge so I am entering my card on those two sites as well.

Thank you for stopping by to view my card today and thank you, Sharon, for your inspiration. I hope y'all will come back tomorrow for our Thursday Happy Inkin' Krew Blog Hop.

Stampin' Up! Itty Bitty Birthday and Bird Ballad Belated Birthday Masculine Card

Hello peeps. My card today is a CASE of my own card here. I used the Bird Ballad Designer Series paper once again and the Stitched Nested Dies but used the sentiment from Itty Bitty Birthday.

Here's the inside...

with another sentiment from Itty Bitty Birthday. I fussy cut the bird in the corner.

That's all for today folks! Time is short and I'm sure it is for you too! But before I go, I'd like to enter my card in the Crafty Friends Challenge #130 Animals/Birds and the Brown Sugar Challenge #298.

Stampin' Up! Fern & Flora Friendship Card

Good Thursday morning, peeps. Today I am finally using items that are new but I haven't used AND I'm using some old. Take a look see...
