Welcome to the Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop. This week we have a sketch challenge. If this is your first time here, welcome! If not, welcome back!! Either way, you're in for a treat!!! I used the In Your Words Stamp Set to create my card for today. I actually created two!
Here's #1...CAS (Clean and Simple)
Which do you like better? I took a family/friend poll and they said #2 so that's the card kit I'll be preparing for our Thursday card group today and the one I'll be describing below. I'll list the measurements and product used after the names of today's hoppers.
I dry embossed a Polished Pink panel with the Ornate Floral 3D EF and adhered it to the card base. I adhered strips of Basic Black to the top and bottom of the DSP from the Pattern Play Series. I ran a piece of ribbon around the center and adhered it to the card front. I cut a mat and sentiment, adhered them together and adhered that to the card front. The sentiment is from the In Your Words Stamp Set. I stamped it in Versa Mark ink and heat set it with black emboss powder. I added three Matte Black Dots as an embellishment.
For the inside...
I stamped the sentiment from In Your Words with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and added a strip of the DSP to the bottom. Then I adhered the inner liner to the card base.
Thank you for taking a look at my post. Now, on with the hop! Clicking on the "next" button will take you to Akiko. Clicking on the names listed below will take you directly to team members and their projects. Thank you for hopping with us.

LOVE this Karen :) One of my favorite new sentiments!! Love Black and Pink together too!
ReplyDeleteKaren, thank you so much!
DeleteCute card! Such a fun sentiment, great colors too! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Amy. I know you like Polished Pink!
DeleteI'm with your friends, and pick #2. Part of the reason I think is the color of the background. They don't appear to be the same, but perhaps it is just the lighting. Anyway, I love the embossing. Beautiful card.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Julie. The first one is Blushing Bride. It is not a favorite pink of mine. I like the bolder colors like Polished Pink and Magenta Madness. I made one using that color too!
DeleteLove this card!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Terry Lynn.
DeleteSo pretty, Karen. I like #2 better too but both are happy cards! TFS
ReplyDeleteThanks much, Susan.
