Stampin' Up! Dreamy Snowflake Merry Christmas Card

Welcome to the very first Creative Connections Blog Hop! We’re a group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators who love sharing our creativity and inspiring others through paper crafting. Each month, we come together to share projects, ideas, and inspiration to spark your own creativity. We’re so glad you’re hopping along with us! Here's a thumbnail of my card.

This was another card that we made at our CNCK retreat in September. Tara brought the kit and I absolutely love the colors she chose for a non-traditional Christmas card. Take a look see at it enlarged...

There's just something about Barely Blush and Secret Sea together, don't you think?

Thank you for joining us on the Creative Connections Blog Hop! We hope you’ve found some inspiration to take back to your own craft room. Be sure to visit the other talented demonstrators in today’s hop to see what they’ve created. Happy crafting. We hope you’ll join us again next month, where creativity connects us!

Stampin' Up! Thanks & Giving Glow of Harvest for Amy's Inkin' Krew Monthly Blog Hop

Welcome to the AIK monthly blog hop. Our theme for this month is "Giving Thanks" and we can  use any product we wish.  The list of hoppers is at the end of my post. I hope you'll hop along. Here's a thumbnail of my card...

Let's take a closer look, shall we?

My card base is Golden Glow cardstock measuring 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4".

    I cut a piece of Cajun Craze cardstock (4" x 4"). To that I adhered 4 squares that measured 1 3/4" x 1 3/4" each.

Before I adhered that to the card base, I wrapped a 16" length of  Golden Glow 3/8" Bordered Ribbon around the center and tied a bow. That ribbon is so fantastic for tying bows!

I stamped the "Happy Thanksgiving" from the Thanks & Giving Stamp Set and the flowers (retired Colorful Seasons Stamp Set) in Cajun Craze.

    For the inside...

I stamped the sentiment from the retired Colorful Seasons Stamp Set in Cajun Craze and adhered a strip of Glow of Harvest DSP. Any person who purchased this DSP for $5 last month was a wise buyer. However, we can only purchase it once even if it is still the Product of the Month carry over! At the retreat in September, all of us were saddened to learn that!

Thank you for stopping by today. Clicking on the "Next" button will take you to . Clicking on the individual names below will take you directly to each member's post. Trust me, you're in for a treat!

Stampin' Up! Autumn Leaves Thinking of You Card

Hello again, peeps! This is my second post today because I wanted to enter the Freshly Made Sketches #776 Challenge. I needed a quick sympathy card for tomorrow so I went to work with a CAS card.

    Here's the sketch I followed...

Thanks, Kim, for a great easy card for me to create. I used the Autumn Leaves Bundle (retired), All About Autumn DSP (retired) and the sentiment from Colorful Season stamp set. My colors are Cajun Craze, Timid Tiger and Early Espresso, along with a little bit of Basic White.

The embossing folders I used are Rustic Check 3D and Seasonal Cheer Mini EFs.

    Thanks for stopping by again!

    Stampin' Up! Scalloped Christmas Cheer

This card was the kit that Janet brought to the retreat back in September. She had no instructions at the time...only her card to look at! I'm okay with that because she had everything die cut and all we had to do was adhere everything together! We did have to stamp the sentiment and holly though. If you have all the ingredients, you can make it easily. Just follow the image...

We used Poppy Parade and Garden Green Ink. The DSP is Timeless Christmas and the card base is either Peaceful Pine or Garden Green.

    Thanks for stopping by today.

    Stampin' Up! Baby Boy Card

Good morning, stamping friends. My card today is for my step-grandson's first boy and Sami has a sister who is 2. My granddaughter had a boy last year. Thus I have become a great-grandmother 3 times but I doubt I'll make it to being a great-great grandmother. and I do love creating baby cards so keep them coming kids...lol! There is an ex-family member who is a great-great-grandmother. Most of the parents had their babies between 16 and 18 so it's possible. Rahab was David's great-great-grandmother in the Bible :-) Back to my card...

My card base is Hydrangea Hue and the DSP mat is from the Silly Old Bear package, as is the die cut Pooh bear. It's cut with a die from Sweet Old Friends.

For the letters, I used letters in my stash that were cut out with the Mini Alphabet Dies months ago so I have no idea what the DSP is. The frames were made with the Stylish Shapes Dies. The card stock I used is Fresh Freesia, Gorgeous Grape, Old Olive, Pear Pizzazz (retired), Daffodil Delight, Lemon Lolly, Cloud Cover and Bashful Blue (retired).

For the inside, I used the Cutest Onesie Stamp Set and Dies (retired) and All for Baby Stamp Set (retired). For the onesie, I used the Silly Old Bear DSP. The sentiments are stamped in Hydrangea Hue ink.

Thank you for stopping by today.

Stampin' Up! Elegant Leaves for the Creative Creases Blog Hop

Welcome to our Anything Goes With a Fun Fold Challenge.  If you haven't played at the Creative Creases Challenge before, what are you waiting for? Hop on over to Challenge #120. We'd love to see your fun fold creation. Here's mine..

This card is another that we made at our retreat. Judi brought the kit and I could make this fold 24/7! Let's take a closer look...

OOh, this Autumn Opulence DSP is soooo beautiful in real life. It's in my order today!

The card base is Petal Pink. That's a color I never cared for but I LOVE it now! Of course, the Cajun Craze mats and one leaf are one of my favorite colors. I hope it doesn't go away in the color refresh coming up in 2027. The other leaf is Early Espresso. That can go away if SU brings back Chocolate Chip!

For the embellishments, the card displays Gold Striped Ribbon and Gold Adhesive-backed Dots.

Here's a view of the inside...

The Elegant Leaves bundle is to "die" for. That leaf is petal pink and the sentiment is stamped in Early Espresso.

If you would like measurements and "how to", just send me an email or leave your email in a comment.

Thank you for stopping by today and I can't wait to see all the creativity from the team.  Be sure to check us out at CCC#120 ... we hope to see your entry there!

Stampin' Up! Star of Light Thow Back Thursday

Good morning, peeps! Can you believe it's the 1st of October?! Where have the first 3 quarters of the year gone? Bye Bye, that's for sure!! I don't send Halloween cards so that's not a problem for me but I do send Thanksgiving cards and I'll be working on those this month. Also, this month is time for showing our pastors appreciation for what they do for their flock. Today's card is one I made for our women's group at church to give to our pastor with a wonderfully delicious gift card. I have never been where he and his wife will be going but I've heard it's one of their faves. The card is a throw back to one I created October 2, 2017. Take a look see at what I created for today...

Our pastor loves plaid ties and I have no doubt that he has one this color. Here are the ingredients:

    Blackberry Bliss Card Base - 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"

    God Foil Mat - 5 1/4" x 4"

    Plaid Tidings DSP (retired) - 5 1/8" x 3 7/8"

    White Glimmer Paper - 2 7/8" x 3 3/8"

    Gold Foil Frame - 3" x 3 1/2"

Star of Light Photopolymer Stamp Set and Starlight Thinlits (retired) - sentiment and star (Distressed Gold Specialty Paper)

Scrap of Basic White stamped in VersaMark ink and heat embossed with gold powder cut out with a die from Perennial Postage Dies

    Gold Adhesive-Backed Swirls (retired embellishments)

The inside sentiment is computer generated and I sponged it with Blackberry Bliss Ink.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you'll be back tomorrow for our Creative Creases Challenge Blog Hop.

Stampin' Up! Peaceful Pine Sympathy Card

One of my teammates recently lost her father so I needed to create a sympathy card. I kept it very simple. Take a look-see...

My card base is Cajun Craze and the Crisp Cantaloupe mat is dry embossed with the Painted Texture EF (retired). I sponged a Basic White mat with Crisp Cantaloupe ink and stamped the foliage image in Peaceful Pine ink. It's from the retired Forever Fern Stamp Set.

I embossed a piece of Peaceful Pine card stock with VersaMark ink and gold embossing powder using the retired Something Fancy Stamp Set. I cut it out with a retired Ornate Frames die.

The embellishments are Adhesive-backed Metallic Gems.

Thank you for stopping by today.

Stampin' Up! Thanks & Giving Plaid Tidings Birthday Card

Good Tuesday morning, stamping friends. I'm going to be completely modest about my card today...I LOVE it! LOL!! Take a look-see...

One of my friends from church is having a birthday in October and I thought this was very fitting. Her favorite color is orange. Because of that, I decided to submit it to the Tic Tac Toe Challenge #302. I went straight down the left hand side. Thank you, Betty, for this great challenge!

My card base is Paper Pumpkin. I adhered a mat of Very Vanilla and then a mat of  Plaid Tidings DSP (retired). I had cut an extra circle from the Spotlight on Nature dies at the retreat, stamped it with Amy's Thanks & Giving Stamp Set and colored it when I got home. I sponged it with Pumpkin Pie ink.

The pumpkins are die cut with the Painted Pumpkins dies and I used Mango Melody card stock (retired) and Early Espresso scrap.

The "Hello Pumpkin" is from the 2020 Hello Pumpkin Paper Pumpkin Kit. I stamped it in Pumpkin Pie ink, sponged it and cut it out with a Stylish Shapes die.

I rarely use my Rhinestone Basic Jewels but I just thought they were very fitting for this card.

Let's take a look at the inside, shall we?

More rhinestones and plaid DSP! The pumpkin is from the aforementioned Paper Pumpkin Kit. The  "happy birthday" is from the Cutest Crew Stamp Set and the other sentiment is from the Fun for Fall Stamp Set.

I used Blends to color the pumpkin: Light & Dark Timid Tiger, Old Olive, Granny Apple Green and Pecan Pie.

Thank you for stopping by today.

Stampin' Up! Painted Patch Thinking of You Thanksgiving Card

Welcome to my Monday Morning Makeover Madness card. I haven't done that in awhile...at least I don't think I have. In any event, this card is a CASE of my card from last week and a CASE of my upline and friend, Mary. This is another card I made at our team retreat. You know, when you have someone to prepare and cook breakfast, lunch and dinner for three days, it's easy to make more cards! I only took pics of one meal, shame on me! BUT, this casserole is one that is always being requested by the attendees.

I was a first timer and trust me, it tasted great!

Now that I've made you hungry, here's my card...

and the inside, which is no different from most of my others...

I don't know about you, but I'm getting a little tired of looking at pumpkins and this DSP! Come back tomorrow for a birthday card I made for a friend who loves orange. There might be pumpkins involved...lol. Thanks for stopping by today.

Stampin' Up! Glow of Harvest Rustic Thinking of You at Thanksgiving Card

No, I'm not going to tell you I made this at our team retreat...oh, yes, I am...lol! I had some scraps laying on my desk so I adhered the 5 1/4" x 4" Glow of Harvest mat on my Golden Glow card base. I embossed the 5 1/4" x 1" Crumb Cake strip with the Rustic 3D EF. I had two little Cajun Craze flowers in my stash so I adhered them to the embossed strip. Next I added three 2026-2028 In Color Butterflies. Et voila, quick and easy card for one of our church shut ins.

The inside is simple as well using the Thanks & Giving sentiment stamped in Cajun Craze and another little flower from my stash.

     Thanks for stopping by today.

Hey! Do you like non-traditional colors for Christmas Cards? Do you like the new Stampin' Up! 2026-2028 In Colors? If so, then you are in luck today! Karen Ksenzakovic of Creative Stamping Designs brought this kit to the team retreat in GA. I had such fun putting it together. Take a look-see...

Stampin' Up! Pretty Poisettia Glow of Harvest Thinking of You Card

Happy Friday, peeps! I made this card at the team retreat in GA. What? You're not surprised? Well, I was because I was CASEing Kim Quade and did not have a foliage die with me so I was fortunate enough to borrow a die Tara had with her. It's from the Pretty Poinsettia Dies and I had gold foil with me. Take a look-see...

Not only do I love this die, but I love the Glow of Harvest DSP paired with the Early Espresso card base. I also borrowed Tara's Spotlight on Nature Circle Die to cut out the vellum. I swear she brought her entire craft room with her...lol! I did bring my own VersaMark ink, white embossing powder, heat tool, and Stylish Shapes banner die to create the sentiment from the retired Colorful Seasons Stamp Set, which I took with me!  The embellishments are from the Painted Patch Adhesive-backed Dots.

Thank you for stopping by today.

Stampin' Up! Balloon Festoon Birthday Card

Good morning stamping friends. I've got another card I made at our team retreat. Yes, there is no end to the retreat cards...lol! Take a look-see...

This one was brought by Becky. I think it's so pretty with the Basic Beige cardstock, accented by the Hydrangea Hue cardstock mat and the DSP mat and strips from the Bloom Boutique DSP. The balloons are cut from the 2026-2028 In Color Pearlized Specialty Paper. If you would like instructions, just let me know in a comment.

Thank you for stopping by today.

Stampin' Up! Scalloped Painted Patch Thanksgiving Card

It's officially fall, yippee! Now if cooler weather would play along, I'll be quite content. I am very content with the hummingbirds outside my back porch. I just wish they'd get along and share the feeders! There's enough nectar for them all. Some must be juvies because they are REALLY tiny! I put the feeders out after I returned from my team stamping retreat in GA. Here's another card I made while I was there...

    and the inside...

The ingredients are listed below. Speaking of ingredients, I forgot to ask James how to make this delicious dinner dish we had Friday night...

As Mary would say, it was the "bomb diggity"! I had two helpings which is unusual for me! I am not a fan of chutney but the sauce was great.

Thanks for stopping by today and think "fall"...that too is the bomb diggity!

Stampin' Up! Dainty Flowers for the Monthly SU Demos Fun Fold Blog Hop

Hello my stamping friends.  Welcome to our monthly Stampin' Up! Demos Fun Fold Blog Hop!! The participating demonstrators are listed at the end of my post. I hope you will choose to hop along. Here's what I created for the hop today...

Let's take a closer look, shall we?

Doesn't look like a fun fold, does it?! Well, back in June, my upline and friend, Mary Deatherage made a card with an accordion fold on the inside. I just had to try my hand at it. I followed her design but everything is else is all me!

    The inside...

    and a shot from above...

You can see Mary's card here and she gives you the measurements for the base, the mat and focal panel, along with pieces I didn't use, and the accordion fold.

I just love this DSP and the Rich Razzleberry color. Everything I used to make this card is retired (with the exception of the pink mat).

Mary got this card I made along with a gazillion other congrats cards on Saturday at our retreat in Georgia. In case you didn't know, Mary just hit the million dollar mark in sales for Stampin' Up! It was a joyous occasion. Here's one pic out of many during the celebration...

Stampin' Up! Friendship Painted Pumpkins Card

Good Morning, peeps! Today's card is the kit I made for the team retreat in Georgia. I also made pillow gifts for each team member who was there. It was a fun time and you never knew what conversation topic would present itself. BUT you did know what the card kits would be and they were all wonderful as was each meal prepared by James. It was the first time I had met my teammies in person. I'm hoping to go again next year if I'm lucky enough to win the "lottery". In any event, take a look see...

I have instructions if you are interested. Just leave your email in a comment and I will send them to you.

Stampin' Up! A Stitched Season and Poe

Good Sunday morning, peeps! Today is the last day in Georgia at our team stamping retreat. If I get ambitious, I'll post more cards and photos in case you are interested. If not, don't look...lol!

I got my furry fix this weekend, which began on Thursday. This is Poe, one of the family the owner of the Crafty Elk Lodge has. Poe is a BIG boy!

Isn't he handsome? He is as gentle as he is handsome. I am covered with his white hair but I don't care! Wish I could take him home with me, along with the chef/owner at the Lodge! Here's one of the cards we made. This is the first card I made and it was designed by Charlene Tackvic a/k/a All Kinds of Crafty on You Tube.

I'll be adding more cards from the retreat soon but this was my first Christmas card of the year. Thanks for stopping by today.

Stampin' Up! Winter Owls Birthday Card

What day is it? Well, according to the camel, it's "hump day". Did you see they brought back the Mike, Mike, Mike ad for GEIKO...
