Stampin' Up! Layers of Beauty for the Demos Fun Fold Monthly Blog Hop

Hello my stamping friends.  Welcome to our monthly Stampin' Up! Demos Fun Fold Blog Hop!! The participating demonstrators are listed at the end of my post. I hope you will choose to hop along. Here's what I created for the hop today...

Let's take a closer look...

This is another fun fold that Alyson Mayo taught me back in May. She was kind enough to make it using 8 1/2" x 11" card stock, which really helps me out as I don't have 12" x 12" card stock. She has a video on it but if you are not a member of her group, you will have to click on this link where you will have a chance to join. It's well worth the time to visit her!

My card base is Tempting Turquoise, which is retired. The mats are retired Perfect Plum. The patterned paper is Craft Consortium. One pattern is Ink Drops and the other is Bloom Beautiful. Basic White was used for the pull out sentiment/images and the embossed cover.

The embossing folder I used was the retired Exposed Brick 3D and I used Soft Succulent Ink (retired) to blend over the raised parts.

Vellum was used for the belly band. Layers of Beauty Stamp Set, dies and stencil masks were used, along with the retired Branching Out Stamp Set (sentiments). The inks I used were Perfect Plum, Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather,  Evening Evergreen and Soft Succulent.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you will hop along with the list of demos below.

Stampin' Up! Inspiring Imperfections Birthday Card for Amy's Inkin' Krew Blog Hop

Welcome to the AIK monthly blog hop. Our theme for this month is "For the Ladies" and we can  use any product we wish.  The list of hoppers is at the end of my post. I hope you'll hop along.

    Here's a thumbnail of what I created...

    Let's take a closer look...

    Here are some deets:

Misty Moonlight Card Base: 8 1/4" x 5 7/8" - score and fold on long side at 4 1/8" and 2 1/16" (fold that to the inside but don't glue yet!)

    Basic Beige Card Stock: 5 5/8" x 1 7/8"; 5" x 3 3/4"; 5 5/8" x 3 7/8" for inside mat

    Country Woods DSP: 5 1/2" x 1 3/4"

    Basic White Card Stock: 4 1/2" x 3 1/4" for arch; 5 1/2 " x 3 3/4" for inside;  scrap for sentiment

Floral Garden Raffia Ribbon or coordinating ribbon: 8"

Adhere DSP to the 5 5/8" x 1 7/8"" piece of Basic Beige and adhere that to front flap

Wrap the ribbon around the front flap and secure with tape; now you can glue the folded back panel to the base, which will hide your ribbon ends!

Die cut the larger arch from the 5" x 3 3/4" piece of Basic Beige; cut the arch from the 4 1/2" x 3 1/4" piece of Basic White (I used the 3rd and 4th largest dies) Glue the arches together and adhere only the left side to the front flap.

Die cut vase and bowl from Craft Consortium Ink Drops - Ocean patterned paper using Inspiring Imperfections Dies and Stamp Set. Stamp and die cut flowers. I used Balmy Blue and Granny Apple Green Stamp N Write Markers (discontinued). Adhere vase and bowl with Dimensionals and flowers with liquid glue.

The front sentiment from  Sweet as a Peach is stamped and sponged with Misty Moonlight Ink. I cut it out with the retired Word Window Punch.

One Adhesive-Backed Metallic Gem finished the card front.

    For the inside...

Adhere remaining white panel to the remaining Basic Beige mat. Stamp the sentiment from the same stamp set and adhere to base. Adhere a 1/2" x 4" DSP strip.

Stampin' Up! Paper Pumpkin Birthday Card

Monday, Monday...can't trust that day (you're welcome for the ear worm!) BUT you can trust that I am staying true to making a card from a Paper Pumpkin Kit for the month. I'm so proud of myself that I have carried through with my goal to use a kit once a month. Can you believe we are in our 4th month of the year already? Wow, I am standing still but time is not!! Let's take a look see at the March 2025 kit...

I loved this kit so much that I purchased 3 refills! I belong to a women's group (PEO) and our organization's flower is the Marguerite. I'm sure a lot of my PEO sisters drink Margaritas as well as love daisies! I, myself, do not like them...lol...Margaritas that is, not daisies!

This card is the #3 card that they made with the kit. There was no variation so it went together quickly.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you'll be back tomorrow for our monthly Amy's Inkin' Krew Blog Hop.

    Stampin' Up! Bashful Blue Butterflies

I really didn't know what to title this post because the base, mat, ribbon and butterflies are Stampin' Up! but the card front is a beautiful digital floral that was free from Alicia McNamara  (papercraftsecrets.com.au). I'm going to enter my card in the Beautiful Blossoms #38 Anything Florals with an optional Mood Board. I would love to have a vase full of daisies...so simple but so beautiful. Take a look see...

My card base is retired Bashful Blue with a mat of Lost Lagoon. The digital is from Alicia McNamara's Sending You Sunshine Printables. The Brushed Brass Butterflies are on SU's Last Chance list and the ribbon is Balmy Blue Organdy (retired).

    The inside is quite simple...

The sentiment is from the retired Hooray for Surprises stamp set. The daisy is from the retired Daisy Lane Stamp Set and is punched with the retired Medium Daisy Punch. I colored the center with light and dark Daffodil Delight Blends.

Thank you for stopping by today and happy 1st of March. Did anyone see February fly by?

Stampin' UP! Floral Delight Birthday Card

Good Monday morning stamping friends. Today's card is a CASE of the card I made here. It's a wee bit different but the measurements and "how to" are the same. I didn't take a photo with the belly band but it was created with the smaller design side of the DSP.

The sentiments are from the retired Birthday Celebration Stamp Set and are stamped with Pool Party Ink. The daisy was punched with the retired Medium Daisy Punch. The heart and sprig were items I found in my stash...no idea from where they came!

The inside does not have the middle arch like the first one did. The enamel butterfly is on the inside rather than on the belly band.

    Thanks for stopping by today.

Stampin' Up! Happy Hibiscus Birthday Card for the Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

Thank you for stopping here from wherever you came!! We have a sketch challenge for you today and here is a thumbprint of what I created for our hop...

May be a doodle of text

Let's take a closer look, shall we?

I hope my team will be forgiving of my loose interpretation of the sketch and I hope the recipient has it in hand!

My card base is Basic White with an embossed white panel using the Happy Hibiscus Hybrid EF. I sponged the die cut hibiscus with Boho Blue ink, the leaves with Shaded Spruce and colored the centers with a light Daffodil Delight Blend. The sentiment is stamped in Boho Blue with a stamp from the Happy Hibiscus Stamp Set and cut with a die from the Happy Hibiscus set. Three Azure Afternoon Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots finished the front.

For the inside, I used the stamps from the Spring Corners Stamp Set. I colored the balloons with light Shaded Spruce, Boho Blue and Night of Navy Blends.

Again, thank you for stopping by! Clicking on the "next" button will take you to Akiko. Clicking on the names listed below will take you directly to team members and their projects. I hope you enjoy all the creativity.
