Stampin' Up! Peaceful Pier Thinking of You Card

Good morning, peeps! Hope you had a great weekend. I saw a challenge at As You See It so I decided to play as it's been awhile! Challenge #376 is to fill in the blank..."My favourite embossing folder is _____. Well, mine is the retired Fern 3D EF. There's not a lot peeking out, but enough that the recipient will know what it is because she's a demonstrator as well. Take a look see...

Let's take a look at the inside...

Measurements:

  • Card Base: 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, scored at 4 1/4"
  • Embossed Mat: 4 1/8" x 5 3/8"

Stampin' Up! Thinking of You Card

Welcome to Thursday, peeps. I was hoping to do a throwback but alas I found some unfinished cards in my stash so I decided to finish them before I started anything new. Since I don't know where everything came from, my product line might be sketchy. I think this is a fairly CAS card so I'm entering it in the Stamping Sensations September challenge.

My card base is Night of Navy 4 1/4" x 11", scored and folded at 5 1/2". It's embossed with the retired Ruffled Dynamic TIEF.

The daisy is stamped in Daffodil Delight ink on a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock. The stamp is from the retired Daisy Delight Stamp Set and is punched with the matching Daisy punch. The center is stamped in Night of Navy and punched with a 1/2" circle punch (retired). Dimensionals were used to raise the center, along with the daisy.

This is where the description get muddy...I have no idea where the sentiment or DSP came from. If you know, leave me a comment, please and thank you!

For the inside...

The sentiment is from the retired Comforting Thoughts Stamp Set, stamped in Night of Navy ink. The DSP strip at the bottom is from the Mixed Media Florals Package, which is currently in low inventory.

Stampin' Up! Beautiful Gallery Thinking of You Fun Fold Friday

Yay, it's Friday...a fun fold Friday at that! Here's what I created for today.

My design came from Mystery Stamping night with Dani Gurrola (Pink Barn Stampers). She gives us measurements ahead of time and then we watch her to see how to put everything together! It's so fun and a different way to present mystery stamping. We must use her design in order to win a prize. Let me show you what she provided...

here's  a look at it closed...

 and fully opened...

If you join her Facebook Group "Pink Barn Stampers" you'll be able to watch her create this design. Not sure if this link will work...you might have to go searching yourself on FB. She also has a blog here.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you have a great weekend. For me it's "Go Vols"!

Stampin' Up! Courage & Faith Fault Line Card

Hello there! I never know when I'm going to post these days. However, I saw a challenge at Atlantic Hearts and a couple of videos on You Tube so I just had to do it!

I had seen Laurel Beard do the balloon technique awhile ago but never tried it. I finally had my son-in-love blow up a balloon and got out my Daffodil Delight ink and went to work on a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece of Basic White card stock. Next I watched the video by Village Card & Crafts. She had an easy version of the fault line technique.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you'll return tomorrow for our monthly Creative Creases Challenge Blog Hop.

Stampin' Up! Floral Delight Thinking of You Card

I'm playing at Beautiful Blossoms. I played at DT and TSOT Wednesday but I couldn't play at BB because flowers were not the focal point. Today is a different story! TSOT because I forgot to include the 3 embellishments on the sketch and I mailed the card already! Let's take a look see ...

For Beautiful Blossoms' challenge, they require that florals must be the focal point and the Mood Board #26 is optional. Here's a photo of their Mood Board, which also contains a link to their challenge. I hope you'll check them out.

For the inside...

Well, I do have three embellishments there so I will play at Double Trouble but only with Thing 1 and Thing 3 plus the Alternative Challenge
