Good Palm Sunday morning, peeps! I hope your weekend has been good to you. In case you had bad weather or if you're cold, I'm going to bring you a tropical feel with my card today.
Good morning, peep! I am trying to use up my current DSP before I start using new. AND I'm trying to create cards with what is laying loose on my desk. Simply Elegant Specialty Designer Series Paper is one of those DSP's that is almost gone and it makes me happy and sad all at the same time! Here is what else I used on my project.
Inspired Thoughts Stamp Set - "Thank you so much" sentiment
VersaMark Ink
Gold Emboss Powder
Gilded Gems
Banner Pick A Punch

Good Friday, peeps! Well, actually next week is Good Friday, isn't it?! Hope you are heading into a fun weekend. Today is a good Friday for me as I will be attending Stampin' Up! On Tour this afternoon and can't wait to see many ways to create with the new goodies heading our way in 2022-2023 Annual Catalog.
My card today is far from new. I am attempting to use up stuff that is in a pile on my desk. A piece of the retired Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper was there so I created this card with it.

I had so much fun creating this card. My design was inspired by Sunday Stamps SSC280 - In the Middle and the stencil challenge at Make My Monday Challenge #171 - Use a Stencil..

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you'll be back tomorrow for our Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop. If you would like particulars on how I created the card let me know in a comment with your email address.
Good Tuesday morning, peeps! My card today is one that I created from what I found in my stash in order to play in two challenges. I'll list them at the bottom of my post.
The Basic White panel is embossed with the Easter Egg Background EF from Darice. The cross is cut out of Silver Foil with a die from the retired Stampin' Up! Cross of Hope Framelits.
I sponged the eggs with Coastal Cabana, Gorgeous Grape and Granny Apple Green inks. I adhered the panel to a mat of Granny Apple Green cardstock and that to a mat of Coastal Cabana. I adhered it to the card base with liquid glue and the front was done!
For the inside, I used stamps from the retired Easter Message Stamp Set. I stamped the palm branch second generation Granny Apple Green. I stamped the sentiment in Gorgeous Grape. I lightly sponged the panel with Coastal Cabana.
Why did I choose those colors? Because of TGIF Color Challenge 362No, it's not a Monday Morning Madness Makeover nor a Mystery Monday. Nope, not even a Masculine Monday. Not a Manic Monday (that's an earworm for you, Mary!)...its a Metallic Monday!!
Now, 100 is a really big deal, don't you think? My teammate, Rosie Kean, has a friend who is turning 100 and she gave us the address if we wanted to create a card for Gladys and I, of course, did...along with many others! We all hope Gladys will enjoy the cards she receives on this milestone birthday.
Measurements are listed below.
I'm entering my card in the Lil Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge #179. I was picked as one of their Top 5 in Challenge #178...woo hoo! I hope you have time to visit their challenge.
Crafty Catz: Challenge 589 ATG or with Lots of Layers is also where I'm playing as I do have 7 layers! Ooh, that reminds me of a seven layer cake! Make mine chocolate with chocolate mousse layers and frosting!
Thanks for stopping by and please...help yourself to my M & M's!

What day is it? Well, according to the camel, it's "hump day". Did you see they brought back the Mike, Mike, Mike ad for GEIKO...
