Good Palm Sunday morning, peeps! I hope your weekend has been good to you. In case you had bad weather or if you're cold, I'm going to bring you a tropical feel with my card today.
The stamp set I am using is a new one in the 2022-23 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog that will go live May 3, 2022. Because I am a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, I received the Uniquely Artistic Stamp Set when I signed up for the On Tour Event, which I attended Friday. The SU demonstrators created some pretty cards with this set but I liked mine the best, she said humbly, breaking her arm by patting herself on the back...LOL! I hope you like it too!
I just love the background I created and I'm entering my card in the Simply Create Too Challenge 179 - Make Your Own Background.
My card base is Daffodil Delight with a mat of Coastal Cabana and art panel of Basic White.
This card was a joy to create! The stamp set has beautiful floral and leaf images. I stamped the floral image using Daffodil Delight Ink. The spots are from that stamp set, stamped in Granny Apple Green.
There are no sentiments in this set so I used the “Thank You So Much” from the Inspired Thoughts Stamp Set. I stamped it in Coastal Cabana and then with VersaMark ink, giving it a shadowy look. I cut it out with a die from the Eden Dies set. I adhered two Pale Papaya In Color Jewels (retiring) to dress up the "banner" a tad. I adhered it to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.
The inside is quite simple using a sentiment from the retired Calming Camellia Stamp Set, which was available during Sale-A-Bration 2022. It is the first time I have used any of these sets so I'm entering my card in the NBUS Challenge #37.
I'm also entering my card in the Make the Cards Color Challenge #52 - Shades of Yellow!
