Stampin' Up! Butterfly Brilliance Belated Birthday Card

Mid-week has rolled around again BUT this time it brings an end to the month! Where did June go???? We are now half way into 2021 and hopefully the second half will be better than the first half for me and others who hit rough spots! Along with a new month tomorrow comes a change in Blogger. They used Feedburner to send my followers an email to let them know I posted. This comes to an end tomorrow. I am debating about using a free program or a paid one. Until I make that decision, I am hoping you will just visit my blog daily. I usually post no later than 9 AM (ET). Thank you for your following.

My card today is brought to you by the Butterfly Brilliance Stamp Set and matching Brilliant Wings Dies. It is a CASE of Tami White.

My card base is retired Purple Posy (Fresh Freesia works too!) with a Basic Black mat. I stamped the butterfly images in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on a piece of Basic White. I stamped the medium size butterfly on a scrap of Basic White and colored it with my Light and Dark Fresh Freesia Stampin' Blends. I cut it out with the corresponding butterfly in the Brilliant Wings Dies. I rubbed pastel chalk around the outline of the stamped butterflies and then adhered the cut butterfly with Stampin' Dimensionals. I adhered the mats with liquid glue.

Then I added Stampin' Seal to the card front and adhered a piece of Fresh Freesia 3/8" Open Weave Ribbon. I stamped the sentiment from Best Year on a scrap of Purple Posy and adhered it to the ribbon with liquid glue.

For the inside...

I used the Turtle Friends Stamp Set and stamped the sentiment in Fresh Freesia and the turtles with Memento.

I'm playing at Through The Craft Room Door ATG Challenge and The Sisterhood of Crafters ATG.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you'll return tomorrow for our Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop. See you in July!

Oh, and BTW, these are the papers that will be available at 15% discount July 1 - August 2, 2021. Be sure to shop in my online store to order.

Stampin' Up! Tidings & Trimmings Christmas Fun Fold Card

Good Tuesday morning, peeps! Today's card is my third Christmas card this month. I have a great jump on Christmas in July! This fun fold design is courtesy of my team mate Karen K. You can see her card here. I am not going to reinvent the wheel so if you click on that link, you'll find her template, instructions and video of the "how to". Thank you, Karen, for all that you have shared!

I used the Tidings & Trimmings Stamp Set, Christmas Trimmings Dies, and Tidings of Christmas DSP. I actually purchased the Tidings of Christmas Suite. Here are photos of the front view, side view and inside.

The colored cardstock that I used is Evening Evergreen and Soft Succulent. The ribbon is Evening Evergreen 3/8" Chevron Weave. The gem in the middle of the front star is one of the Evening Evergreen 2021-2023 In Color Jewels.

The inside sentiment is from the Perfectly Plaid Stamp Set. I used Soft Succulent ink and Cherry Cobbler ink. I also used Adhesive Sheets when I cut out the DSP stars.

I'm entering my card in Pixie's Snippets Playground Challenge #406 and I definitely want to win the prize Di is offering! There are a lot of "snippets" on this card!!

Thank you for stopping by today and do check out Karen K.'s blog.

Stampin' Up! Timeless Tropical Birthday Card

Welcome to my Monday Morning Makeover Madness card. Today's card is one I CASE'd from my upline, Amy Koenders. If you clicked on the link, you will see she used Polished Pink for her color.

My card base is Pale Papaya with a Basic Black mat and panel of Pattern Party DSP. I cut a Pale Papaya scalloped mat with the Layering Circles Dies and a Basic White circle with a non-scalloped die from the same set.

I stamped the flower and leaves from Timeless Tropical Stamp Set on a scrap of Basic White, and cut them out with the In the Tropics Dies. Then I colored them with my Light and Dark Pale Papaya, Just Jade and Mint Macaron Stampin' Blends.

The flower is adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals and the leaves are adhered with glue dots.

Next I cut a piece of Pale Papaya 3/8" Open Weave Ribbon and adhered it with Stampin' Seal that I had placed on the patterned paper. I stamped the sentiment from the Timeless Tropical set in Soft Succulent and adhered it with Dimensionals. I cut it out with one of the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. The final touch is three Matte Black Dots.

For the inside, I adhered a strip of DSP at the bottom of a Basic White panel and stamped the sentiment in Pale Papaya.

I'm entering my card in Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper June 2021 Challenge and Stamping Sensations June 'I love...' because "I love hibiscus"!.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed the makeover.

Stampin' Up! Pampered Pets Anniversary Card

Have you had a blessed weekend, peeps? I certainly hope so. The month of June has really flown by, hasn't it! Before I show you my card, I just want to let you know Stampin' Up! is offering a Designer Series Paper sale beginning the 1st of July and ending August 2. There will be nine different packs from the new annual catalog which will be available with a 15% discount! This is the link for the DSP Sale Flyer so you can check out which packs will be available at discounted prices!

My card today is brought to you by the Pampered Pets Stamp Set and Pets Dies along with a computer generated sentiment inside.

My card base is Cherry Cobbler and the DSP (patterned paper) is the retired Playful Pets. I embossed the Basic White square with the Tasteful Textile 3D EF and adhered it to the Basic Black mat with liquid glue. I cut the pup out from the retired DSP with one of the Pets Dies and adhered it to the embossed panel with Stampin' Dimensionals.  "Lady" is from the retired Little Lady Bug Stamp Set and is cut out with a die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I adhered that with Dimensionals as well. I adhered the black baker's twine with a glue dot. I know she looks nothing like a spaniel but it's all I had. There's no spaghetti involved either!

For the inside I stamped "Tramp" from the back and colored his collar with my Dark Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blends. I created the sentiment in Publisher and printed it out (before I stamped the dog).

I had fun creating this card and once again, I used a leftover kit, which I showed you yesterday. (I had made 15 kits and only used 5! So much for people showing up for stamping...lol!)

I'm entering my card in the Make My Monday Challenge #151 Cats or DogsAlphabet Challenge F is for Furry Friends, Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper June 2021 and Double Trouble Thing 1 and Thing 3 at Double Trouble Challenge #87 (definitely square).

Thing 1: Trouble Maker
says, "Twisted Sister has often referred to me as being square and I tell her 'It's Hip to Be a Square'. She tells me it's better to be a circle because it's cool and groovy. We are asking you to use squares or circles or a combination of both and let us know whether you are square, groovy, or both.
Thing 3: Twisted Sister says, "Trouble Maker, since you're the, ummm, Boss, you need to know I have been spinning in circles looking for an optional twist. Oh, wait, there it is! Ummm, Boss... Emboss! Let's include ummm-bossing on our project.

It's hot and dry here in Arizona... So if you want to Beat the Heat use Dry Embossing; or if you want to Beat the Cold use Heat Embossing; or use both... it's your choice.

Thank you for stopping by today and tomorrow I will have Monday Makeover Madness card for you...do come back!

Stampin' Up! Tidings & Trimmings Christmas Card

Good Saturday morning, peeps. Well, I didn't use anything from Carol's stash. I used the new Tidings & Trimmings Bundle for my card today.

I had a bunch of kits in my stash from another Christmas card last year so I turned it into something new and different. Here's what the old card looked like.

quite a difference, eh?

Unfortunately, my embossing buddy didn't do its job so there are lots of black specks on the card. I should have redone it but I didn't notice it until I photographed it. The lighting in my craft room is not the best! It is going to someone who will totally get the problem! So, now that that faux pas is out of the way, let me tell you more about my card.

The card base is Cherry Cobbler that I dry embossed with the Evergreen Forest 3D EF. I adhered a black mat to it with liquid glue. I stamped Noel from the Tidings & Trimmings Stamp Set in Versa Mark ink on a piece of Basis White, sprinkled it with black emboss powder and heat embossed it.

On a scrap of Basic White, I stamped the three stockings and cut them out with the Christmas Trimmings Dies. Then I colored them with my Stampin' Blends and wrote the names in with my Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker. I adhered the center one with liquid glue and the other two with Stampin' Dimensionals. I affixed the black baker's twine bow with a glue dot, which the camera so obviously picked up! I'll fix that later.

I wish there were some way to fix the black specks. If you know how, please let me in on your secret! I suppose I could flick black specks on it with my Stampin' Write Marker but I don't know if that's a good idea!

I stamped the inside with another sentiment from Tidings & Trimmings.

I'm playing with Thing 1 and Thing 3 at Double Trouble Challenge #87 (I am quite square!).

Thing 1:  Trouble Maker

Thing 3:  Twisted Sister
says, "Trouble Maker, since you're the, ummm, Boss, you need to know I have been spinning in circles looking for an optional twist. Oh, wait, there it is! Ummm, Boss... Emboss! Let's include ummm-bossing on our project.

Stampin' Up! Colorful Seasons and Toile Christmas

TGIF, peeps! The weekend is coming up and so is Christmas! This is another item from the stash I inherited from Carol. She had all the pieces in a plastic bag but they weren't put together so this is what I did with them. I have no idea what the DSP is or what dies were used but it's kind of pretty I think.

I do know everything about the inside though because I created it from scratch!

The stamped Cherry Cobbler snowflakes are from the retired Colorful Seasons Stamp Set and the Garden Green sentiment is from the retired Toile Christmas Stamp Set.

I'm entering my card in Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge June 2021 and her Christmas Challenge 547. Fezziwigs Festive Frolics has a Cold and Frosty Christmas challenge. Snowflakes represent that theme, don't you think?

I wonder what tomorrow will bring? Perhaps another Christmas card from Carol's stash? Her stash was divided up among 7 people! OR maybe a new one from product I just received!

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you'll be back to visit tomorrow. Have a great weekend.

and here is the sketch...
My card base is Flirty Flamingo with a mat of Basic Black. I adhered a panel of Sand & Sea Designer Series Paper (retiring 6/30/21) after wrapping a piece of black baker's twine from the Baker's Twine Essentials Pack. around it.

The sentiment is from the Hey Chick Stamp Set (retiring 6/30/21) and I stamped it on a scrap of Basic White in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I cut it out with a die from Stitched So Sweetly. I cut a mat of Flirty Flamingo with a die from the same set. I adhered the sentiment to the mat with liquid glue and then adhered the panel to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.

For the inside, I used the Hey Birthday Chick Stamp Set.
