Stampin' Up! Season of Elegance for the Creative Creases Challenge #110

Welcome to our Anything Goes With a Fun Fold Challenge. If you haven't played at Creative Creases Challenge before, what are you waiting for? Hop on over to Challenge #110. We'd love to see your fun fold creation. Here's mine...

Let's take a closer look, shall we?
Does it look different? Yes, because it is...it's the back side! I wish I had used thicker white cardstock because the Menorah shows through. I have a friend who celebrates Hanukkah and Christmas so this is for her and her family. I used the Season of Elegance Specialty Designer Series Paper, Seasonal Lantern and Plaid Tidings Stamp Sets, both retired.

The Serene Stamper was the video I watched on how to  make this fun fold.  Tina Zinck made different sizes in her video so I won't go into the details, you can watch her here

Thank you for stopping by today and I can't wait to see all the creativity from the team.  Be sure to check us out at CCC#110 and we hope to see your entry there!

Stampin' Up! Celebrate the Miracle for the Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

Thank you for stopping here from wherever you came!! We have a color challenge for you today and here is what I created for our hop...

For the front of my card, I used Poppy Parade Cardstock, Basic Beige Cardstock, Basic White Cardstock, Sentimental Christmas DSP and Shaded Spruce Ink. For the inside I used Pretty Peacock ink, along with some gold embossing and Crushed Curry Ink. Let me show you more about it...

I thought the square panels looked liked they were spinning along with the dreidel! There are two spellings for Hanukkah but I have chosen the more traditional one.

For the inside...

I used Pretty Peacock Ink, Crushed Curry Ink and gold embossing powder. "Celebrate" is cut out with one of the dies from Stylish Shapes.

Stampin' Up! Brightest Glow for the Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

Today we have a color challenge. Although the sketch shows Garden Green, we could also use Evening Evergreen and we had to pick at least 3 colors. Can you guess what I chose?

Ha, the overachiever picked 6...lol! Here's Evening Evergreen!
Sunday Stamps Weekly Challenge has a sketch for this week...
and that inspired my design. My aim was to create a pocket full of joy! There are a couple of songs out there about a pocket full of joy but I'll spare you that and just show you my card!!

My card base is Basic White cardstock. I adhered a panel of Lights Aglow Specialty DSP (4 1/4" x 5 1/2") to the front. That is Evening Evergreen.

Next I cut a piece of Painted Christmas DSP (3 1/4" x 5") that I cut with a die from the Basic Borders Dies. I adhered it to the front with liquid glue. The colors in that are Real Red and Garden Green.

Then I cut another piece of the Lights Aglow (3 3/4" x 3/4") and adhered that with liquid glue. That piece is Cherry Cobbler.

The sentiment from the Brightest Glow Stamp Set is stamped in Cherry Cobbler and I punched it out with the Double Oval Punch. I sponged the edges with Mossy Meadow ink. The dot over the "j" is a Classic Matte Dot that I colored with my Dark Poppy Parade Stampin' Blends along with the other two.

I made a bow from the Simply Elegant Trim pack, using the Silver. I didn't like the gold with it. I adhered that to the card front with a glue dot and then adhered the sentiment with Stampin' Dimensionals.

For the inside, I adhered a 4 1/4" x 1/2" strip of Lights Aglow DSP. The sentiment is from the Brightest Glow and is stamped in Evening Evergreen.

I like this card because it can be used for any religion and it is seasonal. All humans need joy, hope and light, right? I know where mine comes from but not everyone embraces the same faith.

Stampin' Up! Happy Holly-Days Hanukkah Fun Fold Card

Well, Karen Ksenzakovic...if you are reading this, you know I finally CASE'd your card! It took me awhile, but with your wonderful video it worked out pretty good!! For my readers who don't know, Karen is one of my teammates who creates fun folds for Fridays, which she videos on Wednesday.

Without further ado, here's my take!

My card base is Cherry Cobbler Cardstock with a mat of Poppy Parade Cardstock. I used another win from 12 Months of Christmas Metallic Digital Paper. I'm in love! The sentiment is from the Happy Holly-Days Stamp Set. I cut it out with a die from the Tasteful Labels Dies. I adhered a piece of Double Stitched Real Red Satin Ribbon underneath.

For the inside...

I used the Happy Holly-Days for the big sentiment, punched it out with the Label Me Fancy Punch and sponged it with Poppy Parade ink.

For the bottom fun fold,  I used the menorah from the retired Seasonal Lantern Stamp Set.  For the words, I used the A Wish for Everything Stamp Set.

Above is how it looks from above!

Since I do not do videos, I've provided a link here for you to see how it was created. Thank you, TOK (the other Karen) for such great instructions and all the math you did!

I'm entering my card in these challenges:

Creative Creases #19 - Anything Goes with a Fun Fold

12 Months of Christmas #83 with the optional twist of: Red & White

Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Challenge #569

Thank you for stopping by today.

Stampin' Up! First Frost So Many Stars Hanukkah Card

The gals who will be in my class in November also asked for a Hanukkah card. I think they'll enjoy this one. I was inspired by Carla Bosselaar.

Sentiment - Seasonal Lantern (retired)
Softly Falling EF (retired)
Tailored Tag Punch
Gold Foil 2 1/4"  5 1/4"
First Frost DSP 2" x 5"

For the inside...

Menorah - Seasonal Lantern stamp set (retired)
Sentiment - So Many Stars

I apologize for the briefness of telling how I put the card together but you know if you have questions, you can leave me a comment. I just didn't want to stop blogging for two weeks as I'm out and about too much!

I'm playing today at

WWC244 - Helen's "All About Occasions" Challenge

https://watercoolerchallenges.blogspot.com/2019/10/wwc244-helens-all-about-occasions.html

and last, but not least, at ModSquad's "Sentiment Says it All" challenge.

Yesterday we went to Vogel State Park in Blairsville, GA. The views were spectacular. Here's a few pics I took. Of course, we had to stop at Crane Creek Vineyards again. The last photo is a tree in their parking lot. I will take another photo next time we are there so we can see if the color changed.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you'll return tomorrow for our Happy Inkin' blog hop.
