Stampin' Up! Potions & Spells for Amy's Inkin' Krew Monthly Blog Hop

Hello my stamping friends! Welcome to our monthly Amy's Inkin' Krew hop. Our theme for this month is "Halloween Fun" and we can interpret that any way we want and use any product we wish. Here is what I created for it using the Potions & Spells Bundle. I created my Halloween Birthday card for a friend who was born on October 31.

My card base is Blueberry Bushel (4 1/4" x 11", scored and folded at 5 1/2") with a mat of Night of Navy. I embossed the Very Vanilla piece (3 1/2" x 4 3/4") with the  Painted Texture 3D EF. Before I did that, I stamped the "on this special day" from the Everyday Details Stamp Set. It's a partial portion of one stamp so I used my Blueberry Bushel Stamp N Write marker to ink that.

The "Hocus Pocus" (cut with an Everyday Details Die) is from the Potions & Spells Bundle, as is the cauldron. The bubbles and slime are also die cut with that bundle and I used the Berry Burst, Old Olive & White Glimmer Specialty Paper.

For the inside, I used a stamp from the retired  Magical Mermaid set. I thought it fit perfectely with the front. The "Happy Halloween" is from Potions & Spells as are the bubbles and black cat.

Thank you for stopping by today. Clicking on the "Next" button will take you to Carol, and clicking on the "Previous" button will take you to Akiko. Clicking on the individual names will take you directly to each member's post. Trust me, you're in for a treat no matter which direction you hop!

Happy Halloween

Good Sunday morning peeps! Yes, halloween is just around the corner and it is a day I only celebrate with black cats and youngsters up to age 16! I'm sharing my card today with you and Sunday Stamps SSC289 In the Woods color challenge  ...there are lots of spider webs in the woods!

I believe I have three of the colors showing on their graphic. It's hard for me to tell colors when they are not Stampin' UP! We made this card Thursday in our card group and Debbie provided the kit. Everything was from her Close to My Heart scrapbooking days. In any event, it was fun to emboss with the spider web folder and fence folder. She had the black cat cut for us along with the squares. The pearl eyes have a spooky look, don't you think? I'm also playing at Can You Handle the Pressure where you must use an embossing folder with an optional twist of pets/dogs/cats. There is also a challenge at Two Old Bats, which I just learned about from Diane so I'm playing there as well.

I'll be sending this card to my Godson who is a young person (14) and he loves Halloween. I love to play at the Alphabet Challenge and their current challenge is "J" for Juvenile...and we all know a 14 year old boy can act quite juvenile at times...lol.

Thanks for visiting today and if you follow me, you'll know I will have either a makeover or masculine card for tomorrow. One thing is for certain, there will be M & M's involved! Have a blessed day.

Stampin' Up! Spooky Cat for Amy's Inkin' Krew Monthly Team Blog Hop

Welcome to another Inkin’ Krew monthly blog hop! Our very talented team is doing a blog hop featuring Stampin’ Up! products. This month we are all creating projects with a “Halloween Fun" theme. I’m featuring two retired stamp sets as Halloween is not my bag and I just make one card a year for a family in Maine. The stamp sets are Spooky Cat and Graveyard Gate (from the 2017 Holiday Catalog). This is the first time I have used the Graveyard Gate set and I still haven't used the dies that go with it! See, I told you it wasn't my bag!!

My card was inspired by Christy Fulk. I will include the measurements after the list of hoppers. The card fits in an A2 envelope.

The card base is Basic Black. For the DSP, I used the Cute Halloween 6 x 6 DSP from the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog. My squares are Old Olive, Black Glitter Paper and Basic White. I stamped the witches hat and sentiment from the Spooky Cat Stamp Set with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I sponged the edges with Pumpkin Pie ink. The bat is from the Graveyard Gate Stamp Set. Before I adhered the Black Glitter paper to the Old Olive square, I punched a cat out of the center. Using another piece of Glitter Paper, I punched another cat using the Cat Punch in the Annual Catalog, page 150. I adhered them with Stampin' Dimensionals.

For the back panel, I used stamps from Spooky Cat.

I'm entering my card in these three challenges:

Stampin' Up! Tags Tags Tags Halloween Card

Good morning Tuesday friends. Can you believe it is September already and I am skipping right over it to October! This is why...

My card base is Pumpkin Pie card stock with a mat of Basic Black. To that I adhered a piece of Spooky Night Designer Series Paper (retired). I ran a piece of Black Vintage Crochet Ribbon (retired) around the DSP and adhered it with glue dots. Because of my patterned paper, I entering my card at Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper September Challenge.

I punched out three bats with the retired Spooky Bats Punch and adhered them with glue dots.

The sentiment is from Tags Tags Tags and is cut out with the Trio of Tags Dies. I ran a length of Basic Black Solid Baker's Twine through the hole on the tag and tied a bow.

For the inside...

I die cut three pumpkins using the Trio of Tags and adhered them with liquid glue. The sentiments are from the To Every Season Stamp Set (retired).

Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenge #2035 theme this week is "Orange", so I think I'll play there. A Perfect Time to Craft #9 is an open anything goes challenge. Challenge Up Your Life has an autumn theme and pumpkins shout autumn to me! Can't wait for cooler temps in SWFL! Last but not least, I would like my batty critters to fly off to 2 Crafty Critter Crazies Challenge #42.

Thank you for stopping by today and have a blessed day.

Stampin' Up! Nine Lives Itty Bitty Halloween Card

Happy Friday peeps! There are only 20 more days 'til Halloween so I thought I'd better get busy making some of those cards even though I don't like Halloween...at least scary, ghoulish ones. I know the kiddos still like to dress up and get their treats. Halloween fits perfectly for the challenge at Just Add Ink #478...

I created this card for my li'l pen pal in Maine and I hope she likes it.

My card base is Pumpkin Pie. The mat is Graphic 45 2014 Time to Flourish patterned paper, inherited from Carole.

I had a 3" x 3" scrap of Whisper White so I used the Cat Punch to make another peek-a-boo card. I lined it up so the Cat would be saying "boo"!

The sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Greetings Stamp Set, stamped in Pumpkin Pie and cut with the Classic Label Punch.

The white ribbon is 1/4" wide and it's from a huge spool I bought years ago when I was crocheting patriotic belts. So, I also have a spool of navy and a spool of red. I'll never use it up in my lifetime! The belt project was too tedious so I ended up with one belt...but I digress!

Here's the inside...

I colored the words "you're" and "sweet" with my Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Write Marker because "you're" was connected to a longer sentiment and I didn't want to mask or cut the stamp. They are from the retired Sweet Cupcakes set.

The "happy halloween" is from the retired Spooky Cat set.

Using the Nine Lives Stamp Set, I stamped the fur on the cat that I had punched out. The scariest part of this card is the cat's face, which is from Peachy Keen. The company sent me four free stamps as a gift for purchasing the Fashionista Face stamp set.

Are you wondering why my card is all orange and white? Well, here's the answer...Double D Challenges: Orange and White! Don't you just love their Mood Board?

I know LeAnne must! I'm not a fan of orange unless it's got green with it for the Packers! However, I do love circus peanuts and they are orange...I might buy some for Halloween!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you tomorrow.

Stampin' Up! Spooky Sweets Meet Still Night for the Thursday Happy Inkin' Krew Hop

Howdy and welcome back for another hop. It's Thursday again...how does that happen so quickly?   This week's challenge is a sketch and here it is...

Image may contain: text

I used two stamp sets, two die sets and a punch to create my card for today.

It's a shaker card (see the silver glimmer paper stars in the window?) I used Spooky Sweets on the Mango Melody card stock to make my background of bats and splotches. The sentiment is from that set and is stamped in Mango Melody. I love that SU's ink, match the paper perfectly. I used the Layering Circles dies to create the window opening.

The stars were punched from the Twinkle Builder Punch. I didn't put too many in as the last shaker card I made, they all got stuck together because of the static.

For the inside...

I stamped the owl from Still Night in Tuxedo Black Memento ink. I colored him with my Blends and set him upon an Early Espresso branch die cut from the matching Night Owl Thinlits Dies. If you purchase them as a bundle, you save 10%. I added the moon sliver just for a little bling for my penpal who loves owls. I will write her a note so there is no sentiment.

If you have any questions on how this was made, I will be happy to answer them when you leave a comment.

Thank you for stopping by and remember to click on the "next" button to hop directly to Julie Johnston, who also loves owls!
