Stampin' Up! Bottled Happiness Birthday for the Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

Thank you for stopping here from wherever you came! We have a theme challenge today and here is what I created for our hop.

Have you guessed what the theme is? Let's see if you are right...

Let's take a closer look at my card, shall we?

I was inspired by Jackie vanderSar-Boot (nee Bultje) and you can see her creation here.

Instead of using DSP, I dry embossed a piece of Basic White (4" x 5 1/4") with the Painted Texture 3D EF and sponged it with Misty Moonlight Ink. I cut two strips measuring 7/8" x 5 3/8" and one strip 2 1/4" x 5 3/8".

The card base is a normal A2 cut at 4 1/4" x 11" and scored a 5 1/2". It's Night of Navy cardstock. I cut 1" off from each side of the front, thus leaving the flap which makes it a fun fold and the inside edges exposed.. Then I adhered the above strips to the card base.

Next I stamped the tall wine bottle in Night of Navy Ink second generation and punched it out with the Bottle Punch. I added a Crumb Cake label stamp from the Bottled Happiness Stamp Set and I hand printed "Amos 87" on it because Amos will be 87 June 17. His wife is having a Diner en Blanc party for him Saturday, which I will be attending. It'll be my first one. Have you ever been to one? My friend and I are making the mashed potatoes for 35 people!!!

I stamped a brown bottle and cork from the Bottled Happiness Stamp Set in Crumb Cake Ink and fussy cut them. I stamped the "Wine Not" on the bottle because it's not wine...it's Scotch and Amos likes that too! He and Perry would have Scotch together and now he and his wife drink wine with me!

"Let's Get Into the Spirit" is also from that stamp set. I stamped it in Night of Navy Ink and cut it with a die from the Sending Dies set.

I adhered everything with liquid glue with the exception of the wine bottle and sentiment. I used Stampin' Dimensionals for those.

and the inside...

I cut a piece of Basic White 2" x 5 3/8" and adhered it to the inside middle of the base. I stamped one of the bottles on it and used  the Bottled Happiness set to stamp "Sending a Little Message" on the bottle. The little message is the "Happy Birthday" from the Go to Greetings Stamp Set.

For the finishing touch, I added three 2023-2025 Boho Blue In Color Dots.

That's it for now peeps. Clicking on the "next" button will take you to Akiko. Clicking on the names listed below will take you directly to team members and their projects. I hope you enjoy all the creativity. Thank you for stopping by!

Stampin' Up! Tea Boutique Thinking of You Card

Today card is a carryover for my Makeover Madness because I didn't leave you any M & M's yesterday!

I made over one of my upline's cards that you can see here. I am not even going to give you measurements and very few how to's because Amy has a wonderful pdf file you can print out. Thank you, Amy!

Let's take a look see at what I changed...

I used the same Tahitian Tide base from the Tea Boutique Cards & Envelopes. I cut a mat of Starry Sky cardstock and then a pattern from the Tea Boutique Designer Series Paper using a Stitched Rectangle Die. I used a smaller die from the same set to cut out the sentiment and its mat. I used a sentiment from the Beauty of Friendship Stamp Set.

Before I glued the DSP and its mat to the card front, I wrapped a piece of Tahitian Tide 1/8" Metallic Woven Ribbon around it and tied a bow. Next I offset the sentiment with Stampin' Dimensionals on the rectangle that matched the card base. I added two 2022-2024 In Color Matte Decorative Dots to the sentiment panel and the card front was finished. Amy's photos of the card are so much brighter and I apologize for my iPhone, lighting and photo program!

Thank you for stopping by and help yourself to some M & M's.

Stampin' Up! Nothing's Better for the Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop. This week we have a sketch challenge.

Here's what I created for it...

I used the Nothing's Better Than Stamp Set for the images and sentiments.

My card base is Just Jade cardstock. The scalloped circle is a pattern of Just Jade from the In Color 2020-2022 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper. I stamped the cocktail in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored it with my Granny Apple Green, Just Jade, Polished Pink and Smoky Slate Light Stampin' Blends and a Dark Granny Apple Green. I used the Layering Circles Dies to cut out my circles.

Using Memento ink, I stamped the "Cocktails" on a scrap of DSP I had laying on my desk. Apparently the sun had bleached it so it's a tad lighter than the circle, which made me happy! I used the Banners Pick A Punch to punch the end.

I embossed a panel of Polished Pink cardstock using the Tasteful Textile 3D EF and the Hello EF from the Thanks & Hello EF. I adhered that to the card front with liquid glue as I did the scalloped circle. I ran my Polished Pink Stamp N Write marker around the edge of the Basic White circle and adhered it with Stampin' Dimensionals. Part of the banner is adhered with liquid glue and partly with Dimensionals.

I kept the inside clean and simple...

Stampin' Up! Nothing's Better Than...

TGIF, peeps! Whoa...the first weekend in November is rolling around. Here's how I feel about it...

I'm on my second cup, it's raining cats and dogs AND I am still getting ready for the Craft Fair tomorrow. I put too much on my plate for this week! So here is what tomorrow will bring...

I used the Nothing's Better Than Stamp Set for the sentiments and coffee cups/steam. For the coffee stains, I used the Timeless Textures Stamp Set (retired) and it always reminds me of Perry and our overnight stays at Moffitt for chemo. I will never part with it!

The colors I chose are Cinnamon Cider, Crumb Cake and Smoky Slate. The strip of Designer Series Paper is from the Heart & Home, which will be in the January-June 2022 mini catalog (available to customers 1/4/22).

I am so uncomfortable with CAS cards, but I wanted to make it for these three  challenges:

CAS Challenge #217 - Coffee

Alphabet Challenge Blog: P is for Patterned Paper

Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper November 2021

Thank you for stopping by today and we'll see what tomorrow brings!
