Welcome to another Inkin’ Krew monthly blog hop! Our very talented team is doing a blog hop featuring Stampin’ Up! products. This month we are all creating projects with a “Giving Thanks" theme. I have used all retired product with the exception of the Designer Series Paper and the Linen Thread. My inspiration came from a challenge I'm entering (see below).
My card base is Soft Suede. I cut a piece of Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper. I used a die from the retired Leaves Dies to cut out the center. I used a leaf stamp from the retired Vintage Leaves Stamp Set and stamped it inside the cut out with Early Espresso ink. Then I adhered the DSP with liquid glue. Fortunately, everything lined up because I used my Stamparatus!
The acorn and sentiments are stamped with the retired Acorny Thank You Stamp Set. The acorn is punched with the retired Acorn Builder Punch. The banner is fussy cut and adhered with mini Dimensionals. The "For You" was tough to stamp and cut but I think it came out pretty good. That's adhered with a glue dot.
I added a linen thread bow and the card front was done.
For the inside I used the retired Count Your Blessing Stamp Set and adhered a strip of the DSP to the bottom.
