Stampin' Up! Hydrangea Haven

Good Saturday morning, peeps. My card today is a CASE of my team mate, Jaimie. You may have seen her card on our May 6, 2021, blog hop. If not, take a look see here.

Here's my rendition...

My card base is Basic White with a 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" piece of Hydrangea Hill DSP with same measurements. I adhered it to the base with liquid glue.

On a piece of 5 1/2" x 3" Basic White, I stamped the images from the Hydrangea Haven Stamp Set using Basic Gray for the outline and then the fill ins are Evening Evergreen and Fresh Freesia stamped full strength for the large hydrangea and stamped off for the small one. I adhered it to a piece of Fresh Freesia measuring 5 1/2" x 3 1/4".

I added three Pastel Pearls and two butterflies from my stash. The sentiment from Hydrangea Haven is stamped in Evening Evergreen ink. I haven't decided yet what I will do for the inside and I am open to suggestions.

I'm entering my card in the Lil Patch of Crafty Friends Challenge #158 ATG and Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper May 2021 and The Flower Challenge #56 - Favorite Flower. At the beginning of the month, my favorite flower was the pansy and at the end of the month, it's the hyrdrangea. I have not seen them growing in SWFL and I miss them. My favorite ones were blue and that's what we grew up north.
