Stampin' Up! Perfectly Plaid Christmas Card

I used the Perfectly Plaid Stamp Set to create my card today.

After watching Stamping Mom, I was inspired to create a Christmas Card with Beth's "joy fold".

Here's what you'll need to re-create this card:

Cherry Cobbler Base: 4 1/4" x 8 1/2", scored and folded at 5 1/2"; emboss the fold with the Evergreen Forest 3D EF

Brushed Metallic Cardstock Gold Mat: 4" x 5 1/4"; adhere to base

Shaded Spruce: 3 1/4" x 8 1/2" scored and folded at 4 1/4"

Cherry Cobbler and Brushed Metallic Gold scraps for sentiment; stamp sentiment in Versa Mark ink, sprinkle with Gold Emboss Powder and heat set; punch out sentiment and mat with Lovely Labels Pick a Punch

Punch out shape with Pine Tree Punch on front flap; emboss with Tasteful Textile 3D EF

DSP Mat for behind punched out tree: 3" x 4" (I used retired Wrapped in Plaid DSP); adhere to back of front flap

Very Vanilla Mat for sentiment and image: 3" x 4"

Center Shaded Spruce on gold mat and adhere; add sentiment to front with Stampin' Dimensionals

Forever Greenery Trim Gold Twine: Make a double bow; adhere with glue dot

Decorate your envelope front and back!

Over at Just Add Ink #523, Tina has an alphabet challenge...just add "A". Well here's my "A" - Alchemy - "the medieval forerunner of chemistry, based on the supposed transformation of matter. It was concerned particularly with attempts to convert base metals into gold or to find a universal elixir." Hope the DT doesn't think that's too much of a stretch! Last but not least, International Art & Soul: Ch#92 Tic-Tac-Toe. I went straight across the top.

Thank you for stopping by today and TGIF!
