Stampin' Up! Jar of Flowers for the Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin' Thursday blog hop. You're in for a treat if you have never visited before. It's a weekly challenge and this week we have a sketch challenge.

Here's how I loosely interpreted it using the Jar of Flowers Stamp Set...

.

My card base is Whisper White, with a mat of Mint Macaron, a mat of Designer Series Paper from the In Good Taste 12" x 12" pack. I adhered the mats together and adhered them to the card base with liquid glue .

I used the 4th largest die from the Stitched Rectangles dies to cut the Mint Macaron piece. I embossed it with the Tasteful Textile 3D EF and adhered it to the card front with liquid glue.

I stamped the jar with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a piece of Shimmery White card stock and punched it out with the Jar of Flowers punch. I colored the inside with Pool Party ink and my Water Painter. I stamped the stems inside the jar with MTB ink and colored them with my Dark Jade Stampin' Blends.

With the colors I picked (Cajun Craze, Crumb Cake, Just Jade, Mint Macaron and Early Espresso) I decided to use the sunflower stamp from Jar of Flowers. I stamped the image on Whisper White card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I used Light and Dark Stampin' Blends to color the flowers and leaves and cut it out.

There are no sentiments in the Jar of Flowers set so I used a sentiment from Special Someone. I stamped it on a scrap piece of Whisper White in Early Espresso and punched it out with the Lovely Labels Pick A Punch. I sponged the edges with Early Espresso. I did a dry fit and then glued the sentiment to the card front with liquid glue. Then I adhered the jar the same way. The flowers I adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals.

The bows are from the Boho Indigo Project Medley and the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack. I adhered them with glue dots. To finish it off, I used three Metallic Pearls.

This is the first time I have inked up the Jar of Flowers set so I'm entering my card in NBUS #18 once again!

I hope you enjoyed my card today and thank you for joining the hop. Clicking on the "next" button will take you to Akiko. Clicking on the names below will take you directly to the other team members and their projects.
