Stampin' Up! Ornate Thanks for the Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin' Thursday blog hop. You're in for a treat if you have never visited before. It's a weekly challenge and this week we have a sketch challenge. I can't wait to see what the other team members created. Hop along with us at the bottom of my post.

and here is what I created for it

I'm playing today at Through The Craft Room Door ATG and how can I not play at Double D when it's a purple challenge, my favorite color! Isn't their mood board delicious?

My card base is Purple Posy. I embossed a piece of Whisper White with the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered it to the card base with liquid glue.

Out of Highland Heather Card Stock, I cut a frame with the Ornate Layers Dies

I stamped the sentiment from the Ornate Thanks Stamp Set on a scrap of Whisper White. I used Highland Heather ink and cut it out with a die from the Ornate Borders DiesI cut the border die out of Purple Posy Card Stock and adhered it to the back of the sentiment.

I stamped the daisy from the Ornate Style Stamp Set on a scrap of Whisper White with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored it with my Blends and fussy cut it. I adhered it to the frame with liquid glue.

I adhered the sentiment and border to the frame with liquid glue. Then I adhered my frame to the embossed panel with Dimensionals.

The inside is simply a panel of Whisper White Card Stock stamped with a sentiment from the Ornate Thanks set, using Highland Heather Ink. I stamped the little flower from the Ornate Style set, colored it and fussy cut it, adhering it with a glue dot. I punched three corners with the Detailed Trio Punch and adhered the panel to the card base with liquid glue.

I hope you enjoyed my card today and thank you for joining the hop. Clicking on the "next" button will take you to Eva Dobilas. Clicking on the names below will take you directly to the other team members and their projects.
