Stampin' Up! Butterfly Gala Fun Fold Flap Thank You

Welcome to my Monday makeover. My card today is one based on a video Connie Stewart did recently. I changed the sentiment, DSP and colors.

I am going to miss the Pressed Petals Designer Series Paper when it retires June 2. I will still continue to use it on cards because I LOVE it!

I'll list the card cuts below. My sentiment is stamped in Night of Navy and it's from the Butterfly Gala Stamp Set. The Whisper White Solid Baker's Twine is retiring June 2, along with the Blueberry Bushel color so I thought I'd give them another chance to take the stage. I added 3 medium-sized Pearl Basic Jewels.

I apologize for the blurriness of the next photo. I think my phone camera was focusing on the river, trees and bird house. I took the pic at this angle so you could see that the front flap is adhered to the back of the card. If you are using a different sentiment, you just cut the paper to size. You cut the mat so it is 1/4" higher and 1" wider. Glue your sentiment to the mat, leaving equal space around. Then take your bone folder and score along the right hand side of the sentiment. Burnish it and adhere the inside fold to the back of the base.

I left the inside blank as I don't know who it will go to or why.

Today, I'm entering my card at:

If you have any questions, I will be happy to answer them.

Thank you for stopping by today.
