Good Monday Morning, peeps. I'm getting ready to go for another electrotherapy treatment at the chiropractor. While I'm waiting for a number of calls from various doctors, I thought I'd show you another makeover. Before I do, however, I want to enter this card at Dragonfly Dreams No Patterned Paper.
Remember the card I made for Mary's retirement? You can see it here. Well this is another tree birthday card for Regina's daughter. She bought the one I posted Saturday and couldn't resist getting this one either...blessed daughter to get two birthday cards from momma! and blessed me as the creator of them!! I thank God, the ultimate Creator!!!
Again, this was made before my mishap and I hardly remember how I did it. I'm pretty sure I got this idea by watching Donna Singleton's video on You Tube. You might have to rewind it to the beginning, not sure as I partially watched.
I brayered the Woodland Embossing Folder with Seaside Spray Ink at the top and Pear Pizzazz Ink at the bottom. I stamped the trees from Lovely as a Tree right on the EF with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. Then I put a piece of Whisper White card stock in the folder and ran it through my Big Shot. I couldn't believe how this turned out! I filled in the birch tree bark lines with my Gray Granite Stampin' Write Marker.
The sentiment on the front is from the retired Dragonfly Dreams set and is stamped in Seaside Spray. I cut it out with a die from the retired Petals and More set, sponged it with Pear Pizzazz and adhered it with Dimensionals.
For the inside, I took an idea I saw on the internet somewhere and re-created it on my computer, changing some of the words. The corners are punched with the Detailed Trio Punch.
Thank you for visiting today and I'll be back tomorrow come h.... well, you know the saying :-)
