and to help me out...
First I stamped the holly in Garden Green using Dawn Olchefske's template/Stamparatus method (see below). I stamped the sentiments in Lovely Lipstick. I added retired Real Red enamel dots and then drew the actual wreath by hand using my Garden Green Stampin' Write marker. Next time I will stamp a circle first, then add the holly...if there is a next time!
My card base is Garden Green. The mat is retired This Christmas DSP. I used the Layering Squares Framelits for my squares. The scalloped mat behind the Whisper White art panel is Garden Green. You can barely see it in the photo. Rather than reinvent the wreath...I mean wheel...here's a link to a wonderful tutorial by DO Stamping, which will show you how I stamped the holly and outer edge sentiments.
Over at the Watercooler, Gail's got an "All About Occasions" challenge, WWC174. Christmas is quite a special occasion for me!
A great focal wreath, and the foliage paper works wonderfully with it. I really like the warm tones you've chosen too. Thanks for joining in with the 52CCT.
