Stampin' Up! Patriotic Birthday and Anniversary Cards

Good morning, stamping friends! Can you believe  we are headed into the 4th of July weekend? I have friends who celebrate a birthday and anniversary around the 4th so I created these cards for them.






Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you will have a happy and safe 4th of July celebration. Wow, the Declaration of Independence was signed 250 years ago. "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." I think there are many people who have forgotten this, don't you? Happy birthday, America.

Stampin' Up! Mother's Day Gift Bags

Good mid-week morning, peeps! I meant to post my projects on Sunday but totally forgot! If you are a mother of humans or fur babies or an auntie, I hope you had a great day. 

So, I gave my daughter and his mother gift bags filled with Ghiardelli AND Hershey's Zero Sugar candy. I followed the instructions by Pootles and they were quick and easy. Here's a look see...


My daughter got the Lily of the Valley one because she loves them. She gave me a hummingbird solar lantern and her mil gave me a hanging basket which real hummingbirds love! My son-in-love gave me a mug and made me a reuben; chicken wings for his mother along with sprosciutto appetizer and individual apple cheesecakes for dessert. He truly could open a restaurant! I have to show you all the pics because you know I am a foodie (if you've been following me)! Here ya go...

So far I have had two hummingbirds visit the new hanging basket. I'm patiently waiting for the fireflies to appear! My firefly lantern of  15 years bit the dust, unfortunately, but I'm happy with the hummingbird lantern!

Stampin' Up! Painterly Pears Birthday Fun Fold

Good morning stamping friends. Today's card is easy peasy. It takes Designer Series Paper that measures 12" x 5 1/4" and is scored at 4", 7" and 10". For the sentiment I used a piece of Very Vanilla 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" cut out with a retired Deckled Rectangle die. Take a look see...




The sentiment is from the Coneflower Celebration Stamp Set and is stamped with Secret Sea Ink.

Stampin' Up! Sunshine & Tulips Blue Hues of Happiness Easter Card

Okay, so I'm addicted to this die! This is the third card I've made with it for one of the church shut ins. Take a look see...


Same as yesterday's except with a different pattern of Hues of Happiness DSP. The front sentiment is from the retired His Grace Stamp Set. The inside uses what was cut out from the negative space that I used yesterday. 

I still need practice on stamping those leaves...what does that mean? I guess it means you'll be seeing more tulips! Everything is coming up tulips or should that be roses? Stay tuned and thanks for checking in today, I appreciate it.

In the meantime, I'm entering my card in the Beautiful Blossoms Challenge #38 where "floral" has to be front and center. I picked up on the blue and green in their mood board.

Stampin' UP! The Right Words Birthday Card for Amy's Inkin' Krew Blog Hop

 Welcome to the AIK monthly blog hop. Our theme for this month is "Birthday" and we can  use any product we wish.  The list of hoppers is at the end of my post. I hope you'll hop along.

The DSP is Nature Walk and it's similar to the card I posted here. My card base is Very Vanilla. I adhered the pieces of DSP to a mat of Very Vanilla.

The arch was die cut from the Everyday Arches set.  The stamp sets I used are the Branching Out (retired) and The Right Words. 

I used Secret Sea ink for the sentiments and Pool Party to sponge the arch and the inside liner. Take a look see...

Stampin' UP! Feminine Retirement Card

Welcome to my Monday Morning Makeover Madness card. My masculine card was posted here. This is the feminine version.

 

I had a piece of Designer Series Paper in with my Flirty Flamingo card stock. I have no idea what the name of it is but I do like it! Everything else is the same with the exception there is no heart and, of course, the color. Stamp sets and measurements are in the prior post.

Cloud Cover Card stock: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" (card base); 4 1/4" x 11", scored at 2", 3 3/4", 7 1/4"; 9" to create gate fold card

Secret Sea Card stock: mat 2 1/2" x 3 5/8"

Basic White Card stock: mat 2 3/8" x 3 1/2" ; sentiment 1/2" x 2 3/8"; liner 3 3/8" x 4 1/8"

Crumb Cake Card stock: mat 2 3/4" x 3 7/8"

Lovely Blossoms DSP: 3 7/8" x 4 1/8"; 1 7/8" x 4 1/8" (2); 7/8" x 4 1/8" (2); flower image 2 1/8" x 3 1/4" 

Embellishment: Faux Bronze Pentagon

The stamp set I used is the Not 29 Anymore, which just retired 2/3/26.

Stampin' UP! Floral Delight Birthday Card

Good Monday morning stamping friends. Today's card is a CASE of the card I made here. It's a wee bit different but the measurements and "how to" are the same. I didn't take a photo with the belly band but it was created with the smaller design side of the DSP.

The sentiments are from the retired Birthday Celebration Stamp Set and are stamped with Pool Party Ink. The daisy was punched with the retired Medium Daisy Punch. The heart and sprig were items I found in my stash...no idea from where they came!
 
The inside does not have the middle arch like the first one did. The enamel butterfly is on the inside rather than on the belly band.

Stampin' UP! Guy Greetings Father's Day Card

Welcome to February...where did January go???? In any event, today I have another masculine card for you. Take a look see...

I was inspired by Erin Reed during Justine Hovey's Stash Summit over the past few days.  I adhered the Nature Walk DSP 1 1/4" squares (8) to a piece of Balmy Blue cardstock (4 1/4" x 5 1/2") and also adhered 2 pieces 1 1/4" x 2 1/2". Then I adhered that to the front of a Basic Beige card base (5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"). 

My tag is from the retired Taylor Made Tags die set. The sentiment is from the retired A Good Man stamp set and I used Secret Sea Ink and Very Vanilla card stock. I adhered the tag with Dimensionals.

For embellishments, I used 3 Faux Bronze Hexagons and a double loop bow of Linen Thread.  

For the inside...

All the sentiments are from the retired Guy Greetings Stamp Set, stamped in Secret Sea ink.

Stampin' Up! Nature Walk Father's Day Card

Good morning my stamping friends. So far this week I have had a water main break and frozen pipes. Oh, why oh why did I leave Florida? That's really rhetorical but I'll answer it anyway...because those two things are better than hurricanes! It didn't stop me from stamping, only from taking a shower and you can't see my hair from where you are...lol! However, you can see my card right here...

I'm entering my card in the Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 Challenge and I'm using Sketch #318.

Happy New Year 2026 Calenders

Happy New Year my stamping friends. I started the New Year off by creating calender cards for my Sunday School Class ladies. There are 10 of us and I'm hoping the class will grow this year. Thank you, Taylored Expressions, for the mini calendars and scripture cards that allowed me to create the size card I wanted. Take a look-see...

I do wish TE packaged the calenders in 12 rather than 10 to match the packaging of the Scripture cards. Maybe I'll ask them about that. My colors are not showing up too well but they are Lost Lagoon, Pretty in Pink, Timid Tiger and Purple Posy (retired).

The measurements are really simple and they are easy to make. I made them in assembly-line fashion. I made my own envelopes as A2's were just a little too small. 

Card stock: 4 1/4" x 11", score at 5 1/2" for base

DSP: 4" x 5 1/4"

Card stock: 4 1/4" x 5", score at 1", 2 1/2", 4" on 5" side; burnish, fold and glue to base, which creates the "easel"

Stampin' Up! Wonderful Winterland Christmas Card

It's mid-week, stamping friends and I think I have all my Christmas cards done. However, I do not have this Paper Pumpkin kit depleted! I found two more boxes of the same set! Apparently, back in 2016 I wanted two boxes and a refill for some reason! Well, let's take a look at how I used the kit today...
