Stampin' Up! Timeworn Type for Amy's Inkin' Krew Blog Hop

I used the current Timeworn Type 3D embossing folder, retired Flower Shop Stamp Set and retired Part of My Story Stamp Set to create my card for today. We made this in our card group and Sue M. provided the kit and told us it was a CASE of Tami White.

Hello everyone! Whether this is your first time visiting or if you are a follower, welcome and thank you! You are in for a treat with our monthly Amy's Inkin' Krew blog hop.

Our very talented team is doing a blog hop featuring Stampin’ Up! products. This month we are all creating projects with a “Celebrate" theme. I'm celebrating friendship with a couple who are always doing things to help me out and I wanted them to know I was thinking of them.

My card base is Basic Black Cardstock with a panel of Basic White that I dry embossed with the Timeworn Type 3D EF.

The flowers from the retired Flower Shop Stamp Set are stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. We covered them with Versamark Ink and heat embossed them with Clear Embossing Powder. We punched them out with the retired Pansy Punch. We also punched three black flowers. The stems are 1/8" strips of Basic Black cardstock as are the leaves which were punched from a punch that Sue had.

I took two strands each of white and black baker's twine from the Essentials Pack to make my bow. The sentiment is from the retired Part of My Story Stamp Set and I punched it out, together with the black mat with the Double Oval Punch.

For the inside...

Another flower and another sentiment from the above stamp sets. Don't you just love black and white monochromatic cards? I know I do!
