Stampin' Up! Merriest Moments Fun Fold Christmas Card

Today I've used the Merriest Moments Stamp Set and Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper to create my card for our Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop and for my fifth and last week as Guest Chick for the Krafty Chicks Challenge. It's a weekly challenge with this week's challenge being hosted by Leanne and it's an Anything Goes theme. I chose to make it Christmas since it's only 4 days past and I get a head start on 2023! I have had quite an enjoyable time getting to know the Krafty Chicks.

My card base is Mossy Meadow cardstock (8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"). I adhered a mat of Boughs of Holly DSP (4 1/8" x 5 3/8") to the front.

Next I used the second to largest die from the Stitched Shapes Dies and cut through the DSP and card front. Put that aside for the time being...this is why...

Cut a piece of Basic White cardstock 8" x 5 1/4". Score at 4" and 6". Fold it backwards and adhere to inside of card base after you have stamped the sentiments from the Merriest Moments Stamp Set in Real Red and Mossy Meadow. Adhere a 1 3/4" x 5 1/4" panel of Boughs of Holly DSP to the inner fold.

Next, using that same die, cut the poinsettia out from the Boughs of Holly DSP and adhere it to the circle you set aside. Close up the card and put liquid glue on the right side of the opening. Lay your circle in the opening and press the right side of it to get to stick to the fold. Et voila! Thank you Jackie and Dave Bolhuis for the demonstration on You Tube!!

Clicking on the "next" button will take you to Karen K. (TOK!). Clicking on the names listed below will take you directly to team members and their projects. I hope you enjoy all the creativity. (Note: There is a time difference between the two challenges. So, depending on what time you are visiting my blog, the HIT hop does not go live until 9 AM! The Chicks went live at 2 AM!! I hope you'll pay them a visit and enter a card.) Thank you for stopping by! AND thank you Krafty Chicks, especially Leanne, for inviting me to be a Guest Chick for December. I enjoyed it immensely.
