Stampin' Up! Boughs of Holly Christmas Card for the SU Demos Fun Folds Blog Hop

Today's card is a kit I put together for the Thursday card group using the Boughs of Holly Designer Series Paper. Not only was it for the card group but also for the blog hop!

Welcome to our monthly SU Demos Fun Fold Blog Hop. If you love fun folds, you have come to the right place! The list of hoppers is at the end of my post and I do hope you'll hop along. I'm sure you'll be in for a real treat.

I followed the instructions by Jackie Bolhuis for this. Her video is so fun to watch as her husband does all the cutting and scoring. Mine is a variation of hers.

Here's how I created my card:

Mossy Meadow cardstock: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4"

DSP: 5 1/4" x 4", cut a circle with the second to largest die in the Stylish Shapes Dies.  Cut another one out of coordinating DSP. Glue the two circles together so the DSP you want to show is on the outside. Put the circle aside. Adhere the DSP panel to the card front.

Using the same die, line it up with the DSP panel. You will feel the stitching catch. Run the card front through the cutting machine. You can save the Mossy Meadow circle for another project if you want.

Basic White cardstock: 8" x 5 1/4", score at 4" and 6". Fold the 4" score to the left and the 6" score to the right. It will look like this...

Stamp the sentiments you want. Mine are from the Brightest Glow Stamp Set and I stamped them in Real Red. Adhere the main part to the inside of the card.

Close up the card and put liquid glue on the part of the folded panel that shows through the hole. Adhere your cut out circle to it.  Cut another matching piece of DSP 1 3/4" x 5 1/4" and adhere to the inside fold.

Et voila, you're done! Easy peasy!

I'm entering my card in Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenge #2247 ATG.
