Stampin' Up! Country Club Masculine Fun Fold Birthday Card

TGIF, peeps! Welcome to my Friday Fun Fold post. I belong to a Grief Share Group and one of our participants is having a birthday today. I made this card for him as he is an avid golfer. I used the retired Clubhouse Stamp Set, Golf Dies and Country Club Designer Series Paper. I'll show the card to you from different angles...

laying flat (sorta!)...

 and standing up...

This is a modified Center Step Card. It is so easy to create.

Cut a piece of Basic White Cardstock 5 1/2" x 8" and score at 4" on the 8" side. Cut at 1 3/4" and 3 3/4" on the 5 1/2" side only to the score line. Score the center piece at 2", fold and burnish.

Cut DSP 2 pieces of Designer Series Paper 1 5/8" x 3 7/8" for the outer flaps and 1 7/8" x 3 7/8" which gets adhered to the inner center. Adhere the two outside flaps to the card base.

Cut DSP at 1 7/8" x 1 7/8" for the bottom center flap. Decorate the top center flap with stamps from the Clubhouse Stamp Set and the golf balls from the Country Club DSP. Cut the golf ball on the tee with grass with the Golf Dies. Color the grass and tee with Stampin' Blends. I used Light Night of Navy for the tee and Light Old Olive for the grass. I hand printed the recipient's name on the ball. Titleist an Callaway were too long! Adhere with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Cut 2 golf clubs from Silver Foil Cardstock using the Golf Dies. Adhere them together and to the bottom of the inner center. It was not enough of a stopper so I cut 6 golf balls with the Golf Dies, adhered them together and then to the inner center bottom. Perfect! Decorate the top half of the center fold with stamps from the Clubhouse set and golf balls from the DSP.

Here's a shot of the back (DSP is cut at 5 1/2" x 4")....

I used the retired Tailored Tag Punch to create Basic Black and Crushed Curry mats for my sentiment.

I hope you enjoyed my card today. I certainly had fun creating it. I'd like to enter it in these challenges:

I'd love to have you visit me on Monday for some M & M's and I thank you for stopping by today. I hope you have a great weekend planned. For my USA peeps, remember the fallen.

    1. Thank you, Debbie. My father had clubs in the attic but I don't remember him ever playing. My brother and two sisters-in-law love to play. Gene played when he could afford it, which was not often. Perry and I never played except for miniature golf :-) My daughter drives the golf cart when her husband plays ;-)

    1. Thank you so much, Sarn. Is the Playground Treehouse and recipes for real?

    2. We wish - imagine the fun of us all meeting up and (for example) taking a cruise ship over for Snippets crafting and partying. I have to say though, some of the cocktail recipes ARE for real (hic!) and who wouldn't ever believe that the tree house isn't for real!? xxx
