Welcome to the Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop. This week we have a sketch challenge. If this is your first time here, welcome! If not, welcome back!! Either way, you're in for a treat!!! I used the Nature's Harvest Stamp Set to create my card for today.
My card base is Blackberry Bliss. I adhered a mat of Very Vanilla and then a piece of Blackberry Beauty Specialty Designer Series Paper.
I stamped the coneflowers from the Nature's Harvest Stamp Set with Blackberry Bliss ink. I colored the petals with my Light Blackberry Bliss Stampin' Blends, the leaves/stems with my Light Mossy Meadow Stampin' Blends, and the "cone" with my Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends. I cut it out with a die from the Harvest Dies.
Next I stamped the "Thanks" from the Biggest Wish Stamp Set with Blackberry Bliss ink on scrap Very Vanilla. I punched it out with the Tailored Tag Punch.
Both the image and the sentiment are sponged with Rich Razzleberry ink. I adhered the flowers with liquid glue and the sentiment with Stampin' Dimensionals. I added a linen thread bow with a glue dot.
For the inside, I dry embossed about 1" of the Very Vanilla cardstock piece using one of the folders from the Greenery set. I punched two of the corners with my Detailed Trio Punch and stamped the sentiments from the Best Year Stamp Set with Blackberry Bliss ink. The top part of the sentiment "for all that you are" has a "Thank You" as part of it so I masked that off and then inked up the stamp. Don't forget to remove the mask before you stamp or you'll have one big mess...lol!
I'm entering my card in the CI#107 Color Challenge on FB, Crafty Chef's FB Challenge: Add a flower and Gold and Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper September 2021 Challenge.Thank you for taking a look at my post. Now, on with the hop! Clicking on the "next" button will take you to Akiko. Clicking on the names listed below will take you directly to team members and their projects.
