Stampin' Up! Nature's Harvest Fun Technique Card

Hey y'all...happy and blessed Sunday to ya! Fred was a gentleman and I'm hoping Grace will be a lady! We just got thunderstorms and not too heavy rains with Fred. Grace is expected to appear in a few days. But for now, my faux leather card is going to make an appearance...

We made this at our Thursday card group. The card base is Cajun Craze cardstock with a mat of Very Vanilla cardstock on which we stamped the sentiment and curlicues. The sentiment and flourishes were stamps that Sue M. had brought for us to use.

We ripped pieces of masking tape and adhered them to another piece of Very Vanilla,  willy nilly until the cardstock was covered. Then we took a rust colored Distress Ink pad and rubbed it all over the front. Next we dabbed Versa Mark ink all over it, sprinkled it with clear embossing powder and heat set it. It was not easy cutting the center out with a die that Sue had brought. It's adhered with Dimensionals and I added a little bee trinket.

The inside sentiment is from the Nature's Harvest Stamp Set, as is the image.

I think it could be used as a sympathy card or get well card. So, I'm entering my card in Marcia's All About Occasions challenge at Watercooler Wednesday WWC322.

Thank you for stopping by today and tomorrow I'll have M & M's for you.
