Stampin' Up! Timeless Tropical Thank You Card

Good Saturday morning, peeps! Have you started your weekend yet? Hope hurricane Elsa has been kind to you if you are on the northeast coast. Hopefully she is now out to sea. I passed a lot of my hurricane time creating cards!

This one I'm entering in the Creative Moments and Inspire.Create #094 - Thank You

First off, it's a CASE of Peggy Noe's. The card base is Basic White cardstock. The Pattern Party Designer Series Paper is layered alternately with Basic White, Basic Black and Pale Papaya cardstock. The top layer is a welcoming pineapple cut with the In the Tropics Dies using the Pale Papaya cardstock and Old Olive cardstock for the crown.

The sentiment from the Timeless Tropical Stamp Set is stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a strip of Basic White cardstock. I turned it into a banner by hand snipping it. It is tucked in with a glue dot under the bow of Pale Papaya 3/8” Open-Weave Ribbon .

For the inside I used a panel of DSP. On a piece of Basic White, I stamped the sentiment from the retired Happy Thoughts Stamp Set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the image stamp from Timeless Tropical with my Crushed Curry and Garden Green Stampin' Write Markers. When using the markers on a stamp, you need to "huff" on them to remoisten (that info is for a beginner stamper!)

Thank you for stopping by today. If you have time, check out the cards done by the Design Teams on the challenges I joined. There are many beauties and cuties!
