Good Saturday morning, peeps. Do you have a fun weekend planned? Same ole same ole for me except I have an order for 12 retirement cards but all the same design and paper. I've never done assembly line stamping before. It's a time consuming card too. Hopefully, I'll have enough supplies as it's retired product except for the stamp set.
Speaking of retired, I used the retired Bird Ballad DSP for my card front today but a current stamp set and current dies. Take a look see...
I was inspired by Creative Moments by G. Using the Give It a Whirl dies can be intimidating but there are so many You Tube videos out there, just find one that works for you. G's obviously did! I hope you like the rest of my pics. Oh, the little brad in the middle is a current product Round & Square Brads. They come in white and black.
I just love the fan shaped window creating an interactive card...so cute! Here's the third window, which was stamped using the Inspired Thoughts Stamp Set.
This is the first time I have used these dies so I am entering my card at NBUS #28. Hope you like this one Darnell! Let me show you the dies...trust me...I feel an addiction coming on!
All the stamps fit so nicely in the "windows". My card base is Pool Party. The ribbon is Mint Macaron, but is retired. However, I have pictured below, a substitute for it. The ink colors are Pool Party, Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight and Memento Tuxedo Black. I used the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch for my bottom sentiment and sponged the edges with Pool Party. The rhinestones are from a retired set where they were all linked together. You certainly can use ones from the current catalog and I have included them below in my partial product list.
For the inside, I stamped the image from Free As a Bird and colored everything with my Watercolor Pencils and Blender Pen.
The sentiment is one that was gifted to me by Carole years ago. I punched the corners with my Detailed Trio Punch.
I'm also entering my card in these two challenges:
Thank you for visiting today and, as always, I appreciate your comments.
