Stampin' Up! Darling Donkeys CASE

I was saving this card for a Monday Makeover. However, Monday will be too late for you to order the Darling Donkeys Stamp Set and Approaching Perfection Stamp Set. Sale-A-Bration closes tomorrow, February 28 and I wanted to give you one more opportunity to get either of these stamp sets for free with a purchase of $50 before s/h. Here's my card for today...

and here is the first one...

Can you spot the differences?

and for the inside today...

and last Monday?

I do like today's version better! I colored all my donkeys with Stampin' Blends using Light and Dark Crumb Cake, Light and Dark Smoky Slate, Light Daffodil, Light Old Olive and Ivory. Over at Colour Crazy Craft Challenge: Week 8, they have an Anything Goes Challenge using any coloring medium. Of course, Craftyhazelnut always has her monthly Patterned Paper Challenge. At Time Out, they are celebrating their 7th birthday so this card is in honor of them!

As promised last week, the measurements are listed at the end of my post, along with product used.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you are having a fun weekend. If not, then you might want to meditate on this...

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Philippians 4:6-7 (NIV)

Stampin' Up! Darling Donkeys Birthday Card

Mondays roll around way too quickly, don't you agree? It's a Monday Makeover and I chose to makeover Jan B's card, which is also known as CASEing! Here is how I created mine...

and here is how Jari and Drue created theirs...

aren't they darling? Why yes, the gals and the donkeys!! We had an enjoyable morning with a Cheesy Egg Veggie Tortilla casserole, fresh fruit, and mimosas!

For my inside, I used the Darling Donkeys Stamp Set for the image and the Approaching Perfection Stamp Set, both free during Sale-A-Bration, which ends 2/28/2021...

Next Monday will be another makeover of my card today. Stay tuned...it will even include measurements. February 28 will be your last chance to get either of these sets free during Sale-A-Bration with an order of $50 before shipping and handling. If you order $100, you can get both sets free!

This is my favorite stamp set from the SAB flyer so I am entering my card at Use Your Stuff #416 - It's My Favorite. I am also playing at Double Trouble Paper Crafting Challenge #77 with Thing 1 - Layer It On. I layered two pieces of Forever Greenery DSP to a mat of Basic White, ran a piece of reversible ribbon around it and layered that on Pretty Peacock card base.  Then I layered the images on mats of Pretty Peacock and adhered them with Stampin' Dimensionals. Last but not least is a banner layer. I think I counted 7 layers...now let's go eat that cake!

Thanks for stopping by today.

Stampin' Up! Friends Are Like Seashells Fun Fold

I had no intention of posting on a Sunday but I couldn't resist the challenge at As You See It #244 - Getting Cozy. I am feeling cozy with Purple Posy! It will be retiring this May so I want to use it as much as I can!

I also feel cozy in a field of daisies! I colored a couple with my Purple Posy, Shaded Spruce and Rococo Rose Dark Stampin' Blends. The Designer Series Paper is from the True Love 12" x 12" pack.

I love this fun fold because it is so easy and quick to make. I will be making several of these this week. Measurements are listed below.

Here's the side view....

Stampin' Up! Friends Are Like Seashells

Welcome to the Thursday Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop. This week we have a sketch challenge and here is what I created for it using the Friends Are Like Seashells Photopolymer Stamp Set. I'm entering my card in Challenge #547 at Krafty Chicks as I feel it is clean and simple (CAS).

Here is our sketch.

My card base is Blushing Bride. I stamped the top portion with shell stamps from Friends Are Like Seashells. The bottom portion is a strip of Sand and Sea Designer Series Paper.  The narrow strip is also from the same 12 x 12 pack of DSP. The card front is embossed with the Seashells 3D Embossing Folder.

I stamped the sentiment from the stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on a scrap of Basic White Cardstock, sponged the edges with So Saffron Ink and raised it up with Stampin' Dimensionals.
I added three Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels. Easy peasy and done!

For the inside I used more stamps from the set and matted the Basic White on a piece of So Saffron cardstock.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you will take time to check out the projects my team mates have created. Clicking on the "next" button will take you to Akiko. Clicking on the names listed below will take you directly to the other team members and their projects.

Stampin' Up! Many Messages

Today is an M & M day in more ways than one...it's Monday Morning and my card is brought to you by Many Messages. It's a bundle that's available at a 10% discount.

and here is my creation...

Paper Products I used:

Other items I used are listed below. My card base is 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4". I used about 6 1/2" of ribbon. The DSP I just cut to whatever size I thought looked good for what I wanted to achieve!

The most difficult part of this card, for me, was stamping the Pearlescent Specialty Paper. I used Highland Heather ink and Rococo Rose ink but it took forever to dry. After a few smudges, I restamped and walked away, leaving it over night. Then the next morning I used my heat tool to make sure they were totally dry and punched them out with the Butterfly Duet Punch.

Since I will be writing a personal thank you, I left the inside blank but added a 1/2" strip of DSP.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you have a beautiful week and a great President's Day.
