Welcome to the Happy Inkin' Thursday blog hop. You're in for a treat if you have never visited before. It's a weekly challenge and this week we have a sketch challenge.
I used Grace's Garden Stamp Set and matching Garden Gateway Dies to create the front of my card.
My card base is Rococo Rose cardstock with a mat of Basic Black. I rounded the corners with the Detailed Trio Punch. I adhered it to the card base with liquid glue.
Then I took a piece of Basic White cardstock and embossed it with the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder. I sponged a little bit of Smoky Slate ink over it and adhered it to the Basic Black mat with liquid glue.
I stamped the flower images with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and cut them out with the dies. I colored the flowers with Light and Dark Rococo Rose Stampin' Blends and the leaves with Light Granny Apple Green Blends. Using another die from the set, I cut the gate out from a piece of In Good Taste DSP.
Next comes the fun part. I used the new Many Messages Stamp Set and the Messages Die. The stamp is one piece with many sentiments and shapes. The one die cuts all of them out at once. It's cool and if you buy them as a bundle, you save 10%. You need them peeps! So, I stamped all my sentiments in Rococo Rose, cut them out and chose one of the 24 sentiments that would go with what I would be stamping on the inside.
I did a dry fit with all the pieces and adhered everything with liquid glue with the exception of the sentiment, which I adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Here's the inside...
I stamped the flowery image from the Corner Bouquet Stamp Set (free during Sale-A-Bration with a purchase of $50 before S/H) in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a piece of Basic White cardstock. I used my Stamparatus in order to achieve a very dark image. Then I inked up the stamp again with VersaMark Ink and embossed it with Clear Stampin' Emboss Powder. I heat set it with my heat tool. I added some splatters by flicking the end of my Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker using the Micro Splatter Technique. The sentiment from the Approaching Perfection Stamp Set, also in the Sale-a-bration 2021 Brochure, is stamped in Rococo Rose
My envelope flap received a piece of 2019-2021 In Color DSP.
