Stampin' Up! Magnolia Lane Memories & More Pack

Can you believe I made this card in my lap while sitting on my LazyBoy recliner? It's true. Now do you see the beauty of these card packs? As a reminder, here's what is in the pack...

  • 25 3" x 4" double-sided card panels
  • 25 4" x 6" double-sided card panels
  • 6   4" x 6" single-sided printed vellum panels
  • 4   sticker sheets

My card base is Basic Black 8 1/2" by 6 1/4", scored on the long side at 4 1/4".

I took one of the 4" x 6" panels from the card pack and colored it with my Light and Dark Petal Pink and Mossy Meadow Blends. I adhered it to the card front.

Then I took one of the 3" x 4" panels from the card pack, wrapped a piece of ribbon from the Magnolia Lane Ribbon Combo Pack around it and adhered it on the back with Dimensionals. From the same pack of ribbon, I created the Mary/Billie bow with the Mossy Meadow Linen Thread. I love this ribbon combo pack. The bow is adhered to the ribbon with a glue dot. I used one of the largest pearls from the Pearl Basic Jewels for some bling on the bow. The art panel is adhered to the card front with liquid glue. Because of my bow, I am entering my card at the Dream Valley Challenge #208.

Voila fini! I haven't decided what to do with the inside. It might be an anniversary card for the Craft Fair sale or it might be something to do with friendship. We'll see. BUT, I can tell you what I HAVE decided...I've decided to enter it at Global Design Project 204 | CASE the Designer

My card tomorrow is one that I made standing up! After Friday, I will be able get back in my craft room and begin creating cards the normal way. Friday I will be having surgery on my back...kyphoplasty. Doc says I should be able to resume to normal routines by the weekend. Woo hoo!

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you'll return tomorrow for our Thursday blog hop.
