Yep, it's the middle of the week again already. I really think the hands of time are spinning out of control.
I used my Daisy Delight stamp set for my card today and a Purple Posy card base (one of the new 5 In Colors).
I stamped the daisy in Highland Heather and then without reinking it, stamped another one (it comes close to Purple Posy, which is not available yet due to a manufacturing problem). I used the Daisy Punch to cut it out and adhered the two flowers together with a dimensional. I used the Pretty Label Punch to cut out my sentiment, which was stamped off once with Highland Heather. The Perennial Essence Designer Paper did most of the work for me! The Perennial Essence Floral Center fits perfectly inside the daisy. The embellishment on the sentiment is one of the Designer Elements.
For the inside, I used a strip of leftover DSP and adhered it to the side.
The "Thank You" is stamped full strength in Highland Heather and the remainder is stamped off once.
This is one of the card kits I had put together for last Thursday's card group. I'd like to share what the other three women made...
None of the 2019-2021 In Colors are listed in this DSP but I certainly think the bases are a match! I have yet to try Terracotta Tile or Rococco Rose with this paper...good incentive for creating another card or two! Since most of the colors are displayed in this post, I'm going to enter my Purple Posy card in the challenge at Inspire.Create #46.
It's Repeat Day over at little red wagon and I think I have some repeats on this card...I hope they agree.
I'm also playing again at The Sisterhood of Crafters Any Occasion Challenge.

DeleteVEry pretty, Karen. Yours, and the others as well. Interesting how changing the color changes the mood. BTW, I made your BLT Macaroni Salad for a meeting tonight. It went very well. I really liked it. We are making a cookbook, and as I was going through my recipes, I found a BLT Pasta Salad. Similar to yours but adds sugar, vinegar and sour cream. Yours is the one I used tonight. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Julie. Let me know if you try it with the sugar, etc. Wondering how much it changes the flavor.
DeleteI agree, your card is perfect for our challenge and all of the are so pretty! I need to check out the store. Thanks so much for joining us at Little Red Wagon Challenge this week!
