Stampin' Up! Wonderful Romance for Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

Image may contain: text

It's the third Thursday of the month and do you know what that signifies? It's  when the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop joins with the Happy Stampers Blog Hop.  We are able to choose a sketch or colors. We can also do both. Take a peek at the sketch and the colors...

Today I have pulled out the Wonderful Romance Stamp Set and matching Framelits to follow the sketch only.

My card base is Petal Pink. I dry embossed a piece of Floral Romance DSP (all DSP today is from Floral Romance) with the Pinewood Planks DTIEF. I cut another piece for my banner and one for the backing. The banner was punched with the Banner Triple Punch.

I stamped the flowers on a piece of Whisper White and colored the art piece with my Mossy Meadow Blends, Petal Pink Blends and Fresh Fig Stampin' Write Marker. Because of those colors, I am entering my card in the Hand Stamped Sentiments Color Challenge #306

The inside is fairly simple. I sponged a piece of Whisper White with Sahara Sand to imitate the barn board mat on the front. I stamped the sentiments in Fresh Fig and stamped the leaves in Mossy Meadow, second generation. Again, my lighting is horrible so you can't even tell the difference between the inks! The "together" is from the Wonderful Romance set and the other sentiment is from the Well Said set.

Ready to imitate a toad? Good, let's get hopping then. Click on the "Next" button to hop to Eva Dobilas.

If you prefer to go another direction, you can click on names listed below.  Either way, be sure to work your way through all of the blogs so you don’t miss a thing!
