My card today is inspired by one of my team mates, Linda Richenberg. I haven't played at Cards in Envy in awhile so I'm entering this in their The Spirit of Christmas Challenge. I hope you'll visit their site as the Design Team has created some beautiful cards.
1. Create card base
using Tranquil Tide
2. Cut Joyous Noel DSP
panel
3. Adhere two strips
of Tranquil Tide to the left side of the Joyous Noel DSP panel.
4. Cut a piece of
Merry Merlot & Copper 5/8” ribbon (Merlot side up) and wrap it around the
DSP panel. Cut off extra length, secure with tape on back. Use the cut-off piece to tie a faux bow about 1” from the left side.
5. Adhere the DSP
panel to the front of the card base.
6. Using the First
Frost stamp set, stamp the sentiment in Merry Merlot on a piece of Whisper
White.
7. Cut the sentiment
out with a die from Frosted Bouquet Framelits.
8. Cut a mat of
Tranquil Tide using the slightly larger die from the Frosted Bouquet Framelits.
9. Adhere the two
pieces together and then stick them on the card front using Dimensionals.
10. Use the branch die
cut to cut two from Champagne Foil. Adhere them with liquid glue, after cutting off ends and hiding the
bottoms under the ribbon.
