We’re joining forces with Sandi MacIver’s Happy Stampers for our Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop this week! Sandi has the sketch and Amy has the colors. We can choose to use either or both.
I used the Stampin’ Up! Spooky Sweets stamp set to create my card today. I'm not playing along with the sketch but here are the colors we are using...
and the sketch ...
and what I made for it.
I used the punch that goes with the Spooky Sweets. (If you purchase it as a bundle, you save 10%...just thought I'd throw that in!)
My inspiration came from Tina Wardell. My measurements are listed below, along with the products I used.
I stamped the Whisper White panel with a stamp from Spooky Sweets in Granny Apple Green, stamping full strength and then stamping again without reinking.
Using a 1 1/4" Layering Circle die, I cut a mask from a Post It Note. I placed that on the Shimmery White piece. Then I used the Marbled Background stamp, inking it up with Granny Apple Green, and then sponged with Basic Black and Mango Melody. I did use my Stamparatus because I couldn't get the marbled look I wanted first try. I removed the mask and sponged the moon with Mango Melody.
Next I punched the bats out of a scrap of Basic Black. One is adhered with dimensionals and the other two are just glued with Tombow.
The sentiment is from the same stamp set, stamped in Mango Melody.
Here's the inside...

I sponged the edge of the Whisper White with Mango Melody, stamped the sentiment with the same ink and stamped the bats in Basic Black second generation. To reduce the "whiteness", I lightly sponged the mat with Granny Apple Green. I then adhered it to a Basic Black mat and glued that to the base.
