Stampin' Up! Beautiful Bouquet and Painted Glass for the Happy Inkin' Krew Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to our blog hop with some of Amy Koenders' team and a few of Sandi MacIver's team. This happens once a month and, as usual, we have our choice of following the sketch and/or the color challenge. And, as usual, I have chosen to do both!

There's not a lot of stamping on my card but I did use the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set for my sentiments inside and out. I used a piece of Painted Glass Vellum DSP for the main portion of my card front. Take a look...

I colored the birds with my Stampin' Write Markers in Bermuda Bay and Blackberry Bliss. I adhered it to a mat of Petal Pink so I didn't have to color the rest of the bodies! I used Tombow liquid multipurpose glue because it doesn't show through the Vellum.

I cut a piece of Blackberry Bliss for the mat behind the Petal Pink sentiment mat, which is stamped in Blackberry Bliss. Measurements and products used are below the names of our hoppers.

I added a corrugated heart with a glue dot and ran a piece of Whisper White Baker's Twine through my Bermuda Bay ink pad, tied a bow and adhered it with a glue dot. The corners were rounded with the Detailed Trio punch.

For the inside, I used the same punch for the corners on a piece of Petal Pink card stock. I rounded the corners of the Blackberry Bliss for the mat under the sentiment, which is stamped in Bermuda Bay ink.

It's so hard to tell colors in some of the challenges but I think mine comes close to looking like I captured the colors in the photo inspiration at Sunday Stamps. What do you think? Sunday Stamps will be the final judge of that!

That's all folks. However, your mission is not complete until you visit the other hoppers. Clicking on the "next" button will take you to the marvelous Julie Johnston's creation.
