Stampin' Up! Pastor Appreciation Card

Good Sunday morning, peeps! This month is not only Agent Orange Awareness Month but it's Pastor Appreciation Month. So, I've covered both bases with my card today. Take a look see...

My card base is Pumpkin Pie Cardstock with a panel of Splendid Autumn DSP. I stamped the sentiments from the retired Thoughtful Branches stamp set in Pumpkin Pie ink and added 3 birds from the Adhesive Backed Dragonflies and Birds.

For the inside...

I had adhered the strip of Splendid Autumn to a piece of Very Vanilla and stamped it with my large Pumpkin Pie ink pad. There was something wrong with the pad and it came out in globs. So, I cut the panel down, stamped the sentiment again in a spot of Pumpkin Pie. I do like the little spots. The sentiment is from the retired Happy Thoughts stamp set.

I have the most wonderful pastor and I truly appreciate him...not just in October! My heart goes out to any person diagnosed with Agent Orange cancer.

Thank you for stopping by today and I might surprise you with another card on Wednesday.

Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenge 2339

Hello my stamping peeps! Welcome to another challenge at Pammie's Inky Pinkies. I'm using a digital provided by our sponsor for this week, Jan's Digital Stamps, and I colored this one with my Stampin' Up Blends. The title of this digi is Pumpkin Blessings.
I used a stamp from the Colors & Contours Stamp Set for the side leaves on Mossy Meadow Cardstock. The "Happy Birthday" is from the Very Best Occasions Stamp Set.
For the inside...

The sentiment and pumpkin are from the retired Gather Together Stamp Set.
Thanks for stopping by today and a big THANK YOU to Jan. Do stop by to see what she has in her store. Jan is offering a $6 gift code to the random winner. So, please join us at Pammie's!

Stampin' Up! Soft Seedlings for the Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

I created this card for the Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop. Can you guess if our challenge is theme oriented, color oriented or sketch oriented?

Did you guess correctly? I bet you did!!

I chose my colors with the help of Sunday Stamps Weekly Challenge SSC291 - Autumn Rays.

The colors I used are Mossy Meadow, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry, Merry Merlot and Blackberry Bliss.

The technique is called Joseph's Coat and my friend and upline, Mary Deatherage, has a pdf and video to show you how it's done. It was fun to CASE her card!  I did this technique back in 2019, but it was totally different than Mary's way. If you'd like to see my card, it's here.

Stampin' Up! Soft Seedlings for the Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin' Thursday blog hop. You're in for a treat if you have never visited before. It's a weekly challenge and this week we have a color challenge. Links to the team hoppers are at the bottom of this post.
I used the Soft Seedlings Stamp Set, Rustic Harvest Designer Series Paper and the Baby Wipe Technique to create my fun fold. Measurements are listed after the hoppers below.

The baby wipe technique is all the rage with this particular stamp set. It certainly did lend itself well to using Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry and Mossy Meadow ink refills! The sentiment is stamped in Cajun Craze and I adhered three Champagne Basic Jewels.

I was inspired by Lisa Brown for the fun fold. This card was so easy to create...  take a look see...

I created my own background again using the ink that was left on my silicone craft sheet, like I did here. It came out a little dark so I had to stamp the sentiment in Cajun Craze a number of times. It's easier to see in real life.

Because you know I love fun folds, I'll have another one for you tomorrow. Do come back! If you aren't a "follower", I hope you'll become one. Just click on that button and I'd love it if you would subscribe as well.

Clicking on the "next" button will take you to Akiko. Clicking on the names listed below will take you directly to team members and their projects. Thank you for stopping by and hopping with us! I hope you enjoy all the creativeness.

Happy Halloween

Good Sunday morning peeps! Yes, halloween is just around the corner and it is a day I only celebrate with black cats and youngsters up to age 16! I'm sharing my card today with you and Sunday Stamps SSC289 In the Woods color challenge  ...there are lots of spider webs in the woods!

I believe I have three of the colors showing on their graphic. It's hard for me to tell colors when they are not Stampin' UP! We made this card Thursday in our card group and Debbie provided the kit. Everything was from her Close to My Heart scrapbooking days. In any event, it was fun to emboss with the spider web folder and fence folder. She had the black cat cut for us along with the squares. The pearl eyes have a spooky look, don't you think? I'm also playing at Can You Handle the Pressure where you must use an embossing folder with an optional twist of pets/dogs/cats. There is also a challenge at Two Old Bats, which I just learned about from Diane so I'm playing there as well.

I'll be sending this card to my Godson who is a young person (14) and he loves Halloween. I love to play at the Alphabet Challenge and their current challenge is "J" for Juvenile...and we all know a 14 year old boy can act quite juvenile at times...lol.

Thanks for visiting today and if you follow me, you'll know I will have either a makeover or masculine card for tomorrow. One thing is for certain, there will be M & M's involved! Have a blessed day.

Stampin' Up! Gathered Wheat for the Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin' Thursday blog hop. You're in for a treat if you have never visited before. It's a weekly challenge and this week we have a theme challenge. Links to the team hoppers are at the bottom of this post.

Here's our theme...
here is what I created for it...

I used the Gathered Wheat Stamp Set to stamp the image and sentiment. My card base is Basic White with a mat of Crushed Curry. I cut a frame of Rustic Harvest Designer Series Paper with the largest die from the Stitched Rectangles Dies and the art panel is cut with the second largest Deckled Rectangles Dies.

I poked holes where the wheat was tied with a rope on the stamped image and ran my Linen Thread to create the tie for the shaft of wheat. Then I adhered the art panel to the card base. Lastly, I adhered five Champagne Basic Jewels for a little bling.

I'm entering my card in the Happy Little Stampers: HLS August Anything Goes Using Dies Challenge.

Clicking on the "next" button will take you to Akiko. Clicking on the names listed below will take you directly to team members and their projects. Thank you for stopping by and hopping with us! I hope you'll be back tomorrow for my fun fold and a couple of fun challenges. I also hope you'll become a follower by clicking on the "follow" button on my side bar and I thank you in advance for that! Now on with the hop!!

Stampin' Up! Soft Seedlings for the Amy's Inkin' Krew Blog Hop

Welcome to another Inkin’ Krew monthly blog hop! Our very talented team is doing a blog hop featuring Stampin’ Up! products. This month we are all creating projects with a “Fall Frenzy" theme. I used the Soft Seedlings Stamp Set in addition to other SU stamp set and dies.

I was watching Lisa Freeman do the baby wipe technique with the Soft Seedlings Stamp Set and it jump started a brain cell or two. You might say it created a frenzy. Take a look see in the order that I used the baby wipe "ink pad"...

using the Hello Harvest Stamp Set with coordinating Rustic Pumpkin Dies, White Baker's Twine colored with Mossy Meadow, Blackberry Bliss and Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Blends

using Soft Seedlings Stamp Set, Forever Fern Stamp Set and Very Best Trio Punch

using the Go To Greetings Stamp Set for the outside and
Celebrating You Stamp Set and retired Colorful Seasons Stamp Set for the inside

The cardstock I used was Rich Razzleberry, Pumpkin Pie, Blackberry Bliss, Mango Melody, Mossy Meadow, Crushed Curry and Basic White.

For the last card, I lifted the baby wipe and saw there was a puddle of ink on my craft mat so I laid the Basic White panel in it to create the background and then stamped the Thank You and leaves. I added five Blackberry Bliss retired gems. Because of the background, I'm entering my card in the Allsorts Week Challenge 688/9 with Lorraine's Create Your Own Background Theme

Stampin' Up! Very Best Occasions for the Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Happy Inkin' Thursday blog hop. You're in for a treat if you have never visited before. It's a weekly challenge and this week we have a sketch challenge. Links to the team hoppers are at the bottom of this post.

Here's our sketch...
and here is what I created using the Rustic Harvest Designer Series Paper and the Very Best Occasions Stamp Set.

My card base is Merry Merlot cardstock with a panel of Rustic Harvest DSP. I stamped the Happy Birthday from Very Best Occasions in Crushed Curry on a scrap of Basic White cardstock and punched it with the Double Oval Punch. I punched the mat from a scrap of Merry Merlot. It's adhered with a Dimensional. I also adhered three Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the upper right corner. Card front done, easy peasy!

For the inside...

another sentiment from Very Best Occasions and the fern from Nature's Prints Stamp Set.

The envelope flap was treated to a piece of the DSP as well.

and Tic Tac Toe 172 I went from top left diagonally to bottom right.

TGIF, peeps! It's another Fun Fold Friday AND I'm honored to be Guest Designer once again for Creative Creases Challenge #37! I hope you will play along and enter a card in Debbie's Always Anything with a Fun Fold challenge.

My card today was inspired by Linda Bauwin and it's a great design. Let me show you the various stages of opening...

Here are the deets in a pumpkin shell:

Merry Merlot Cardstock: 8 1/2" x 3 3/4" (2); cut one on the long side at 4 1/4" and score each end at 3/4"; burnish, fold, and adhere to remaining piece, which forms the card base

Rustic Harvest DSP: 3 3/8" x 3 5/8" (2) (Tip: be mindful of the pattern direction and match up your pieces on the flap before gluing!); different pattern 5/8" x 3 5/8" strips (2); adhere with liquid glue

Scrap Merry Merlot for banner sentiment (Hello Harvest Stamp Set); stamp with VersaMark Ink and heat emboss with White Embossing Powder; cut out with Rustic Pumpkin Dies; adhere left half to flap with Stampin' Dimensionals

Basic White Cardstock: 6 3/4" x 3 1/2"; stamp image in Cajun Craze; color pumpkin with Stampin' Blends (Light and Dark Cajun Craze, Light Daffodil and Color Lifter); color stem with Mossy Meadow Stamp N Write Marker. Stamp corners in Crushed Curry and the sentiment in Merry Merlot. Adhere to inside with liquid glue.

I hope you enjoyed my card. I'd love to see your creation of this easy fun fold in the Creative Creases Challenge #37! Have a great weekend.

Stampin' Up! Beautiful Autumn Quite Curvy Birthday Card

Welcome to another Monday Makeover Madness card with special M & M's at the end of my post!

At our Thursday card group, Meg brought a kit for us to CASE a card created by Windy Ellard. We did a lot of two-step stamping using the retired Beautiful Autumn Stamp Set and a lot of punching with the Autumn Punch Pack. We also used the retired Quite Curvy Stamp Set and matching Curvy Die.

The ink colors for the leaves and acorns are: Bumblebee, Cinnamon Cider and Old Olive.

The ribbon is Bumblebee 1/4" Gingham Ribbon.

The Bumblebee colored embellishments are from the 2020-2022 In Color Square Gems

I finished the inside when I got home using the retired In Your Words Stamp Set and added a strip of retired 2020-2022 In Color DSP.

Thank you for stopping by today and here are your M & M's. Click on the photo to get the recipe!
