Good morning, peeps. It's another every other Friday Fun Fold at Creative Creases and here's what I created for the challenge today..
Let's take a closer look at my fun fold, shall we?
My friend, Donna, is a quilter and a mighty fine one at that! I ran a piece of Mint Macaron Cardstock through my embossing machine using the retired Quilt Top EF and adhered it to the front of the like color base. I adhered a square of Petal Pink Cardstock, a square of Very Vanilla and 4 squares of Country Floral Lane Designer Series Paper folded to create the quilted look. I adhered an embellishment I found laying loose in my stash. I created the sentiment to look like it was stitched. I cannot sew in real life or on paper! The "Happy Birthday" is from the Go to Greetings Stamp Set, the only thing on this card that is not retired!
For the inside, I created a sentiment and ran it off my printer. I punched the corners with the Detailed Trio Punch.
Thanks for stopping by today and I'd love it if you'd become a follower if you haven't already.
I hope you have the time to enter our challenge. Just click on the logo or the blue "challenge" and you'll be transported there immediately. Debbie, Rae and I hope to see your entry over at Creative Creases #62.
What a beautiful card for your quilter, Karen! Love the focal image with such pretty papers and the background embossing was the perfect choice. The inside panel is pretty with the punched design. I need to use those more. Have a great weekend!

DeleteKaren... perfect card for your friend. I love this fold. The coordinating embossing file is a bonus. My favorite part, the greeting with your hand written addition.
