Stampin' Up! Seaside Bay for the Happy Inkin' Thursday Blog Hop

Thank you for stopping here from wherever you came! We have a color challenge today and here is what I created for our hop.

Being an overachiever, I used all 5 of the new '23-'25 In Colors...trust me they grow on you...especially the Wild Wheat! That color is to Amy as Lemon Lime Twist is to Julie...inside joke for our team!!

So, let's take a closer look, shall we?

I used the Seaside Bay Stamp Set for my Blue Maryland Crabs; however, these are Boho Blue Crabs and inedible! My card base is Moody Mauve cardstock (5 1/2" x 8 1/2", scored and folded at 4 1/4").  I cut a mat of Basic White (5 1/4" x 4") and stamped the "sand" from Seaside Bay in Copper Clay ink along the edges. I adhered a panel of Pebble Path DSP from the 2023-2025 In Color 6" x 6" pack.

The sentiment is from the Happy Labels Stamp Set and is stamped in Moody Mauve. I cut it with my trimmer as I didn't have a die I wanted for the sketch challenge at Try Stampin' On Tuesday Challenge #605

OK, you're asking, "where does the Wild Wheat come in?" On the inside, of course...

I adhered a panel of Bright & Beautiful DSP (4" x 5 1/4") to the base and then cut a piece of Basic White ( 3 1/2" x 4 3/4" and stamped the sentiment from the Seaside Bay Stamp Set in Moody Mauve ink.

The oyster is stamped second generation in Pebble Path ink, and the pearl is stamped in WILD WHEAT! Here's a little bit of fact finding for you....it's got to be true because it came right from the internet's mouth!
"Pearls produced by the gold-lip South Sea pearl oyster range in color from a creamy white to a deep gold. The varying hues in between are often referred to as yellow and champagne. Each of the colors may be beautiful in their own right, but the most valuable is gold."

So, you see, I'm taking the liberty of saying Wild Wheat is gold (smile).

That's it for now, peeps. Clicking on the "next" button will take you to Akiko. Clicking on the names listed below will take you directly to team members and their projects. I hope you enjoy all the creativity. Thank you for stopping by!
