Stampin' Up! Easter Friends

While some are busy working on Christmas cards, I am sticking with Easter. Take a look see....

I know I created this for a challenge, but I can't remember which one. Does that ever happen to you? I need to write things down, but even if/when I do, I can't remember where I wrote it!

My card base is Thick Basic White with a panel of In Good Taste DSP. I cut a mat of Magenta Madness and adhered both pieces together and to the card base.

Next I stamped the chicks from the Easter Friends Stamp Set in Basic Gray on a piece of Basic White cardstock. I cut the image out with a Stitched Rectangle Die and then colored the chicks with my Light and Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends. The beaks and feet are colored with the Light Pumpkin Pie. I stamped the sentiments in Magenta Madness Ink and adhered a 2020-2022 In Color Square Gem. I'll be sad to see those colors retire as they really grew on me over the past year. I adhered the art panel to the card front with liquid glue.

For the inside, I used the same stamp set.

I had some eggs and a basket left over from another Easter card so I employed them here. My bunny is colored with Light & Dark Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends.

I'm entering my card in these challenges:

and If You Give a Crafter a Cookie #167 April ... I was inspired by the yellow cookies for the chicks and the egg shapes for my inner art panel.

I have to play at the Snippets Playground Challenge #425 with my inside "snippets". I might even take time to enjoy a Sarn Mojito!

I hope you enjoyed my card today and thanks for stopping by.
